Okay, screw desecration demon. This is where it's at. I just gotta have one of these and if it is fake I'm going to (tap) sacrifice tears: target faketroll wins the game.

If this is real (and I can't yet see a reason to think otherwise, although I'm not done just yet), then it is also the first unofficial spoiler of the season, and thus a very welcome sight.
It might as well say "you don't pay colorless costs for creature spells you control." If you have a 6/6 flying trampler how can your opponent NOT lose enough life to cast your spells?
Oh, I thought he was talking about playing a spell that is countering a spell with counters on it as it comes into play, but I see you guys were just discussing whether he was flashing a creature with flash in order to flash a flashback or just flashing a creature with flash but not needing flash in order to flashback a spell without flash.
Making sure your opponent lost life shouldn't be that difficult to manage. It's too bad Gut Shot won't be in standard with it; could have helped.
Seems like the kind of card you want as a centerpiece of your deck.
Getting your opponent to lose life might not be the most difficult thing in the world. Doing so while also have BBRR will make that significantly more difficult.
How is this better than P Obliterator? The only reason I can really think of is that we have slightly better duals this coming season,, but the only deck that really wants this card is Bx zombies and they don't run P Obliterator anymore even though every single land in their deck can produce black.
Maybe it's just the photo, but the text seems off. Otherwise a very convincing mockup. I don't see how cost reduction really fits RB, but if this is the actual card, I'd say I approve.
It's widely known that [EDH] is very broken. Building a superdeck is quite easy. So what defines you as a player is [...] how you show restraint and creativity while still remaining a competitive player and a good sport.
the only problem with urza is that he is an oldwalker, so its abilities would be like:
+3: remove up to ten target permanents from the play
-2: win the game
-8: kick your opponents in the face, then win the game
starting loyalty: 100
Thank god Selesnya/Azorius Charm deals with this guy, otherwise...good lord. This is about the weakest draw back you can have (deal damage to opp to cast it).

I do hope it is real, although I am still skeptical. It's insanely splashy and cool, but without seeming like it is so good that it will be a four of in tons of decks. Just what a mythic should be in my book
EDIT: I'm currently rethinking my "he isn't type 2 playable" stance. It really all depends on what sources of card advantage Black gets. I heavily doubt he will be playable, since there aren't many ways to utilize his benefit without constructing your deck around him (Losing consistency).
He's definitely not playable in eternal formats; Omniscience is a better Sneak-Show card because it's Blue and can put Griselbrand into play.
On a sidenote, as somebody who only found out about the post-combat main phase a year after getting into Magic (I started with the Portal starter set), this card is a great learning tool.
Damn. I almost want to remake my BR Vamps, which is doing surprisingly well, into something new. I do need to put in Vexing Devils so this guy would go well with that. Wow...Falkenrath Aristocrat is most def losing its place, as a two of finisher, for this guy.
Obliterator is easier to cast and has about the same evasion. The only other big factor is that a colorless kill spell won't be around to kill this guy, but Dismember hasn't been tearing it up recently.
The last ability on Rakdos is nice but current Zombie decks are incredibly color intensive.
Enlighten my why you think Rakdos is better than P Obliterator.
People, seriously, the life loss thing is not a draw back. That casting cost on the other hand, now that's a drawback.
Would you rather cast this or Falkenrath Aristocrat? Aristocrat gets in for 2 more damage by turn 5. Is significantly easier to cast, and has a relevant ability.
Making your creatures cheaper to cast after turn 4 isn't a relevant ability. It's a win more ability, or a lose more ability after they sweep you right out of the game.

How is Obliterator easier to cast? Both require CCCC. And Obliterator also means you practically need to play mono-black. This opens up an entire other color.
Even discounting the whole "your guys costs 1 less for each damage you do" part.
Turn 5 bump in the night then cast the 7/6 haste nightmare horse for 1BR. swing along with Rakdos himself. That'd be game right then and there

Cause running bad cards is exactly what you want to do to make other bad cards better. Always been a solid strategy.

Forgotten Rootborn Defenses so soon?
But given the source, it's probably not unofficial. It might be from one of the GPs.

EDIT: Except that won't work, because they can't do it on your turn.
And if you swung for 5 on turn 5, played Rakdos, then you could play a 5 drop for 1 mana.

Are you casting Rakdos on your opponent's turn?

You can't be serious.
I think this makes up for Unleash being garbage.

All I gotta say to Rakdos lovers is: scream for joy and don't stop until the ragamuffyn sings!
