Wow that card is pretty good. First strike too? I guess WotC is pushing vamps hard with this very playable lord and rakish heir. Wonder what other goodies are in store.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
Wow! This is really strong! I wonder if this is alluding to a cycle of uncommon lords. Immerwolf is the rg one definitely. There's room for two more multicolored cards to go in, so probably humans won't get any. This will be amazing in limited!
I don't really see it as a bad draw most of the time. If you draw it and drop it, it's a blatant show that you can and will take away Christmas if someone messes with you.

Standard WRath abuse BR Burning Crawler W Puresteel Humans

Zirilan of the Claw

Rosheen, the Meanderer
Vela the Night-Clad
Seems like there's a cycle, here. Looks like they're trying to push tribal by giving us lords that aren't necessarily very powerful, but are cheap and fit into a curve well.
Also, this is a very neat piece of flavor--Vampires turning on the other monsters because they need to protect their human stock.
these lords are turning out to be so good for how cheap they're but i don't think we will be getting anymore since there's not many multicolored spots left.
That's pretty awesome. I really doubt vampires are going to get enough support to see Standard play, but the fact that this is Uncommon makes me pretty excited for limited. There are a ton of crap vampires that you can get late in ISD, so uncommon Lords are pretty sweet.
I like this one a lot. Not as much as Immerwolf, but still like it.
This makes me wonder about the UW spirit card that was spoiled forever ago. So far we have two lords, so you'd expect that the UW uncommon would also be a (much needed) Spirit lord, but the flash fogger certainly wasn't that..
I love the flavor text. Without a book, getting little tidbits about how things are shaping up is nice, and the vampires protecting their food is great flavor. Vampire's might be possible now with 2 3cc lords.

Don't mind my posts, they are probably just a product of gang violence

Yeah, the mentality is the same as a farmer protecting their herd of cattle from wolves. Unlike the storyline in RoE where the good guys win, the best anyone can hope for in Innistrad is still pretty neutral.
I mentioned in the main thread that this could make BR Vampires a thing in Standard. I forgot about Modern. Given how inexpensive this is, plus the fact that Bloodline Keeper exists, plus the Vampires in Zendikar block, I could see some people give a BR Vampire deck a serious look in Modern.

This thing is actually pretty boss. Legacy vamps have been something that have had potential for some time now, add this in to the mix along with all the 1 droppers and bloodcrazed neonate and were talking about a pretty decent sligh build that has potential.
Wow, another great lord for BR vampires on top of Rakish Heir. I'm not sure if this is enough to push them into a competitive deck but it's definitely a step in the right direction.

Every lord is like that. They separate the abilities they give to other creatures and the abilities the lord itself has.
