looks sweet, looking forward to seeing what it does. now that they're finishing up the fifth sword I'm beginning to wonder how they'll get to the next five.
So it's called Sword of War and Peace, a bit used and unimaginative but then so were all the others so it's no surprise. SoWaP or SoWP as an nickname sounds pretty bad compared to SoFI and SoLaS but it'll have to do.
I like the art in poster form but i'm not sure it works well for the smaller card art, the sword is definitely a focal point but unlike all the other swords the background is very cluttered and will look even more so when it's on a card and you can't make out the details as clearly.
for war and peace, i dislike the flames in red part and white is too yellow, i will prefer to see more red and white, whit no flames, like in sword of light and shadow, but i like the blades colors reversed with the suns, sword of body and mind should be used the same type of contrast.
Anyone else CLEARLY hate that the sword is being held by Phyrexians but the card will be mirran because it says "we will endure" like why would the mirrans create a sword that has protection from themselves? WOO flavor ☺☺☺☺☺ ups!

Emmara is like the worst parts of Legends and Homelands got pregnant, aborted the fetus, tossed it in the trashcan, set it on fire and wrapped the corpse in a Dragon's Maze pack wrapper.
Still think the name Sword of Heart and Soul would have fit a hundred times better.
To be fair, we won't know that till we know the abilities. The original two notwithstanding, the last two swords have had names that somewhat loosely coincide with their names.
War and Peace comes off weird since it's a sword used for war..
but really, it's about keeping the peace and going to war (the means of keeping the peace), it makes sense. Why aren't there 10 pages of baseless speculation by now?

.....whoever made all the swords was Mirran. Mirrans are peoples from Mirrodin, which includes all five colors.
I think people are making this sword waaaay too over powered. The protection colors already put the sword a notch above all the others (or at least the ones in standard anyway), and that WON'T go unnoticed by WotC. Armed with that knowledge they will undoubtedly make the two abilities weak, or one weak and one just ok.
EDIT: deleted a lot of my post because I thought I was posting this in the speculation forum as I had a lot of tabs up and I don't want to get infracted for posting my idea of the sword's abilities
I think the official site said something that the sylvok were almost totally exterminated in the initial conflict and those remaining on the Mirran side are healers instead of warriors, so flavorwise it wouldn't fit
So this guy's telling you that his family is going to be tossed out on the street penniless and starving and his dog is going to be kicked repeatedly if you don't give him a positive feedback...and he still won't honor the original deal?
I kinda wish they used a brighter color for the peace part of the sword = / it doesn't look that great in the current color :-(
I kinda wish they hadn't lit the War part on fire. The other red sword is the sword of fire and ice... putting fire on the War sword just makes it seem like Red is fire... and nothing else. Plus, the War and Peace don't work together visually the same way the two halves of the other four swords do, and they would if not for that flame.

Doesn't matter, the watermark is flavor, when everything about a card screams phyrexia, *based off of previous cards* make it phyrexian like cmon it just makes sense.

I just figured that since the other two from this block had humans from their middle-colored sun holding them (Auriok and Vulshok), this sword would be similar.....but I did kinda expect few of them to be left alive.

open your eyes man. BASED OFF OF PREVIOUS SWORDS everything about this card screams MIRRAN. it's the completion of a cycle from the original mirrodin block, and everything about the flavor of this screams mirran. don't argue "green and black are phyrexian and red and white are mirrodin" while trying to agrue that the flavor of this being mirran is off. if you knew anything about the story you'd know that Phyrexia is invading EVERY color, and that mirrodin, before the invasion had every color present.
none of the og swords or SoBaM can work with your phyrexian argument. the swords are mirran. deal with it.

There were 10 pages. Thankfully, the mod's deleted them so we didn't have to read hundreds of iterations of "It's a lightning helix sword even though SoFaI has damage and SoLaS has life gain! Herp derp!"

Not only that, but the flavor back story for this sword has two mirrans talking about it while holding it haha. It's bizarre that any one could think it's phyrexian.
Vulshok have five human fingers....not four sharpened, metal claws. Whatever is holding the sword is not human. Phyrexia wins.
Swing and a miss.
There's Leonin, Loxodon, Vedalken and various artifact creatures. And by the way, to the rest of you: It's Mirran. So why would it be in the hands of a Phyrexian?

My playgroup decided on "Sword of Order and Chaos".
War and Peace works about the same, but I don't like it as much..

Those protections alone are very, very good, if the abilities create card advantage in any form, it should see play... Vulshok arms look awesome.
