EDIT: After reading through more posts, Yes, for limited this is better at Mythic. A 4/4 for 4 flying with possible protecting your artifacts is pretty powerful.

It takes green like 10 years to get a rare 4/4 for 4, and white gets one w/ flying in this block off hand and it doesn't have a chance of seeing standard play because Baneslayer is just THAT much better.
It's moments like this when you realize they're not actually making it up as they go along, because that would imply they're making something as opposed to throwing ☺☺☺☺ out there.
Skill is an ability that relates more so to the type of deck that's built and how said player pilots it. It also relates to the ability to assess the board and use the cards available to you in the most optimal way relative to each situation.
When a deck is filled with above par cards and every play is solid, there comes a diminishing need to "think" for the lack of wanting to use a better word.

whee, a cash-grab mythic rare that won't be cash-grab simply because its outclassed by the other cash-grab mythic rare But really, its not like this is a utility creature or anything. Its not especially abhorrent at its rarity.
Unlike the metalcraft artifacts, this its a non-artifact and thus requires 3 other permanents instead of 2 other permanents- so its ability won't always be relevant. And doesn't protect from sweepers.
Plus its that whole issue of the "flagbearer" class. If you have a creature that gives everything else shroud, all that says is your opponent has to aim for that creature first. Making it not any more important than the old flagbearers
This card is nuts. I can't believe people don't see why this card is nuts. Name me a single artifact removal spell in Standard that doesn't target. Heck, name me one in Extended. It basically says that you have to kill this 4/4 flier in order to kill any of the opponent's artifacts. It's about as close to Darksteel Forge as you can reasonably get for 4 mana, and that card was definitely Mythic.
So far I have yet to see a Mythic in this set I am disappointed about. No more Vengevines or Dranas here, folks.

Oof, make it an artifact creature at 3/3 and we have something useful. She's pretty mediocre in any artufact deck simply because she isn't one. Agree on the rarity being lame, she is outclassed by Emeria Angel by far power-level wise. Best part-due to mythic rarity, she probably COULD have been an artifact creature and simply stated "other artifacts", etc...
Need one for that art though. Favorite art in the set by far, can we give him some playable cards please?
I don't know, dont get me wrong, the card is good. But, it feels very weird, specially with that art, also feels weird as a mythic.
Oh well, I guess it will see some play in some artifact based deck.

Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
It's probably mythic to avoid ruining draft.
Seconded. Same with the masticore--another cash grab folks.

4/4 for 4 with two abilities. Hmm.

I'm not even that impressed by the metalcraft ability, but at least it is nice gravy on an already-awesome 4/4 flyer for 4.
I second the motion.

Good job on the Mythic as well.

angel isn't an artifact herself. White is just getting all
sorts of love these days.

If you can read this, you don't need glasses.
Because she's quite good in the right deck and she doesn't occupy the same slot as Baneslayer.

I swear someone at WOTC needs to be fired. Or start printing 5/5s for 3G at common... maybe with trample, then get fired.
