YESS!!!! I've been waiting! Twincast was always a poser!
After OMGing, I have to come back to say that the art and flavor text are awesome.

I'll put this bluntly. If a really cool, unique guy went up to a normal girl, and is ugly, he's weird. if he goes up and is hot, then he's cool and unique.

It's like watching grass grow, except it's ridculously expensive.
In what universe? If you build a deck like that, and ever draw that hand, I will personally come to wherever you live, perform complicated acts of awestruck ********, then disembowel myself to escape the world that allowed something like this to occur and validate you.
Seriously? I wish they'd spoiled this stuff before the cheap presales at my local store. This looked awful until 2 days ago and now it looks amazing.
Rise of Eldrazi made me want to play Jhoira in EDH, but I hesitated. Now I have to get her going since Red and Blue are getting all sorts of nutty things!!
Not sure now I feel about this. I mean it is basically swerve right? But it doesn't have to be a targeted spell. It is also basically Twincast, so they kinda morphed the red and blue aspects of swerve and twincast and made it mono red. Not sure how I feel...

Fork became Twincast (without the recoloring), and now we have red Twincast. And Deflect is blue again, while Shunt was red (okay, Shunt worked only on single target).
Essentially, duplication went red-blue-red, whereas redirection went blue-red-blue.

I believe we can just assume that both Red and Blue have full access to copy and redirect effects.

I rolled 5 D6's and got 3 fours. They must have changed the odds of getting a 4!

Also fog effects went green white green...
I think the core sets are trying to reclaim old pieces of pie for the colors, which is fine, IMO.

Why a red twincast ? M11 just lost a lot of logic.
As above posters have said, Twincast was originally red (Fork), and Shunt was originally blue (Misdirection). In fact, I personally feel it's more logical this way, as red has crazy copying (which is essentially random, aka red), while blue has the precision instrument of changing targets (which is essentially meddling, aka blue).
With all this said, I welcome the change. I am personally glad to see the color pie amended.
I hate that wizards decide to meddle with the color pie again. I think that the recent card choices and the introduction of non-overgreen mechanics in the core sets means the color identity of speciffic colors will lessen.
I fear such outcome.
You shouldn't be fearing at all. Also they meddled with the color pie when they invented twincast, it's not meddling if you are giving back what was once rightfully "Red's Thing"

WUBRGPauper Battle BoxWUBRG ... and why I am not a fan of Wayne Reynolds' Illustrations.
I never understood why the old Fork turned the copy red. This new one makes it a lot simpler. I always liked it more in red than blue.

It is a red Twincast.

My deck is going to have problems finding room for all these, but I'm more than happy with them.
I'm very happy. My wish came true. Now if only Font of Mythos wasn't rotating, I could still use my Runeflare.dec

And yes, M11 is not afraid to bring back a bit of old flavor to the color pie. I happily approve this.

Runeflare Trap gets a replacement for twincast. This is disgustingly awesome. Love the art too.
