Hooray for Slivers EDH! Hopefully we'll get some nice alternate arts. Still holding out for queen, though only overlord wouldn't be the end of the world.
I have not played with any slivers in a deck... well since they were introduced. I have never felt the need to hunt down and build a sliver deck, but this one is built for me and is all foily. This is something I will probably be picking up. I hope for more silly all foil products and will gladly line Hasbro's pockets with my money supporting this.
Yes, but they promised us that the box itself would be foil too, and I want to see that. I'm not sure what use, if any, a foil deck box has (blind your opponents, mayhap?), but it's new and different, and thus the legions of fans want to see it.
Thank you for the picture, OP. Great find!

Along with many mods, I've moved shop over to MTGNexus. Come check us out!
Necrotic Sliver isn't the most iconic of slivers, but it's probably the most powerful Sliver overall.
Though he's certainly lost a lot of his mojo under M10 rules.

you can generally tell the easiest road to victory by how many players congregate on it; and the road of counterspells/control has been the freeway of choice in magic for quite some time.

What I find offensive is not that Wizards is endeavoring to make the game more accessible, but the attitudes of elitists who act as though no one of any age should show their face in the Magic public without first having mastery over the complexities of the game.
Please explain to me the reason, I don't understand alot of this M10 changes stuff.
When Necrotic came out, your Slivers could get blocked, put damage on the stack, then sac to destroy something else, and still potentially kill the blocker. Since M10 you can't stack combat damage, so you either destroy a permanent OR kill the blocker, but never both.

Thanks alot for the juicy nugget of info guys! No more block and sac. I think I smell what WotC stepped in
Verrrry nice packaging, but it's kind of strange that Necrotic Sliver gets the whole deck box. Not the most iconic sliver around...
So, already we can confirm that the deck is five colours and that it has Sliver Overlord for its mythic (note that although it lists the Overlord as 'rare', it also says that all information is taken from the photo, meaning that they have simply given the rarity of the previous printing).
This picture can't confirm that the mythic is Sliver Overlord any more than my Grandmother can. It doesn't say anywhere and you can't see the rarity. Am i missing something?
Box does look pretty good. I want them to make a premium deck series for Saprolings :S
EDIT: Are they going to be able to fit 'Legendary Creature - Sliver Mutant' on a card???

First of all, Sliver Queen would definitely be listed on the cover. She's the most iconic Sliver ever.
Second, Sliver Overlord's almost definitely an MR (picture it not being MR), and there's only room for one MR.
Third, Wizards has implied (though not stated, so as to leave room open for doing it in the future) that it will not be selling cards from The List.
There's a chance that Sliver Queen may be in this set, but there's also a chance that everyone but you is a figment of your imagination. Neither of these chances are very high.
We have five cards now from the upcoming Premium Deck Series SLIVERS . .
All from the attached product packaging . .

Yes, the cards listed below and on the top post are the ones in the picture.

Previously you could put damage on the stack and then sacrifice it to necrotic sliver.

Victual Sliver
Necrotic Sliver
Acidic Sliver
Crystalline Sliver
and
Sliver Overlord Sliver Legion would've been better. Hell, I'd rather have Homing Sliver over him. It has a better ability.
edit: Would appear I've been 'nathed. Sry.
Reserve list is lame & anachronistic. They should've printed Sliver Queen for this. That's a fact.
Well, I guess that's that. Won't be buying this (and there was maybe a 10% chance anyway).
