Sphinx: Not very good, but I can see use for him at times. He's still capable of filtering your draws of lands. Unfortunately, lands are decent in Zendikar.
Crypt: Sick. Stuff. Period. I sense a disturbance in the force, or the dredge.
Pitfall trap: decent limited. punishes green hard with their "one big guy" approach. If tokens are still good in constructed, or bloodbraid elf for that matter, it's not going to be good.
Cleric: Interesting. WWW for a 2/2 pro black and exile black is begging to be sb card in WW. It's a good mirror to the gatekeeper as well. Kind of not worth it for a rare.
Pitfall Trap looks real nice to me. It's a great tempo card, since when are players attacking with multiple creatures in the early turns? Someone attacks with a Goblin Guide, you conveniently get a land, and they lost a goblin guide. Good stuff.
Is it just me, or did they spoil the sphinx and the land on the same day for a reason? They look like they would go well together. Maybe run a bunch of unearth guys and splash red for burning inquiry and banefire?
The Sphinx is unplayable, like all the other Sphinxes. If it was a 5/5, then it would be much better.
The new Cabal Coffers sucks in t2. Maybe in a Dredge deck it could be good, but not in T2, especially since Unearth removes stuff from your graveyard, and Bloodghast reanimates itself.
The anti black Cleric will be good in mono white as a SB option.
The Pitfall trap is great, especially against Exalted.
The sphinx looks broken in extended. You get to draw even if you don't pay the kicker. For dredge decks with dread return = really broken.
In standard, sphinx is a nice card. Card filter/deck thinner. You can draw 3 cards while dump the 3 you don't need.
Woof, that Sphinx stinks. It basically reads: 3UU, 3/5 Flying, Draw 3, Discard 3. Not gonna cast it for 7 very often. If its body were like 5/5 or something, then sure, it will help rule the skies.
People will try hard to break the Crypt until they realize that they don't actually want creatures in the graveyard, they want them in play. Suppose it will work fine in Vampires.dec, though, as a two-of or something.
Yeah, monoblack, bring it. I'll be exorcising you all day!

Did anyone else realize this could mean 4 CYCLES OF NON BASICS?! That's a lot!
Not sure how to feel about the sphinx...hmmm
Crypt is insane. T'Will be a money card, t'will enable MBC. Pitfall Trap will be the next Path to Exile, calling it now. (Bant hates it, btw)
Lightcaster is basically White Knight 2.0

Although always playing a deck I think is fun, I'm also always trying to win the tournament.

The sphinx could be really good in a grixis type drastic inquiry, you get a decent sized flying body and some of your unearth dudes in the GY for 5 mana at no advantage to the opponent. Sounds okay to me, I hope the other sphinx is better. The other cards that stick out to me are the white trap and the black hoser, both seem to be extremely solid cards that warrent a playset each if youre playing white in standard. The new coffers is meh.
The black crypt, along with everything else black that we have seen screams suicide black! I'm excited for them all. Can't wait to see what else white is going to have because really... i'm still waiting.
The Kor gets owned by the gatekeeper, just like everything else. Black shall reign supreme.

As much as I'm against the OTT view that this card is going to solo tournaments, cure cancer and make Susan Boyle attractive I'm not really a fan of the opposing camp who think it slaughters puppies and sired Justin Bieber.

The name/number crunch has pretty much said we're very likely to have 4 cycles for a while.
But the "new" coffers is, I think, the Black entry in the Emeria/Valakut cycle. Three cycles of land at rare would be a tad...ridiculous.
People will try hard to break the Crypt until they realize that they don't actually want creatures in the graveyard, they want them in play. Suppose it will work fine in Vampires.dec, though, as a two-of or something.
Then opponents do annoying stuff like.....play removal against your creatures. I don't think this card needs to be broken. Just over the course of most games a deck not necessarily built around this is going to generate at least 3 mana by itself. And more than likely more than that.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I HATE sphinxes. Please. Stop printing them. They all suck and they are all lame. Every single one of them. What a bad card.
Allies are lame too, they are all high cost so far (except that green one). With enough, maybe a tier 2 standard ally deck could come out. Kind of like slivers but CITB.
Also, I assume the crypt is part of Valakut cycle, due to the rarity and people in the pic. That saddens me, I was hoping for something along the lines of valakut for mbc. Oh well.
None of these cards scream insanely playable to me, but they're all decent. The Sphinx could see play in a neo-Solar Flare type deck. The land probably has some casual applications or may fuel some sort of unearth deck. The Pit Trap seems overshadowed by Path To Exile. The Kor is SB material at best, but good SB material. The Ally is an ally, and that's about it. Turning all of your allies into Thieving Sprite is interesting, at least.

Are there no ways to put cards in your graveyard in magic? To trigger this ability to add a ridiculous amount of mana?
Johnny says cabal coffers 2.0 is win.

No, I would almost venture to say that this card is broken in Vintage / Extended....
Dredge will be a beast in extended this season.
