I've been thinking about a deck that has possibility storm in it and what cards would go in it and seeing if anyone else had some ideas.
I was thinking about RWU so I would use Wild Research to get any enchantment or instant that is very cheap out of my deck then cast it and possibility storm into something that is hopefully more expensive and then since the storm puts the cheap card back into the deck I can get it again with wild research.
probably putting omniscience in since it would be really good to storm into and kind of a wincon.
parallel thoughts can get the little cantrip cards out of my deck so I wont storm into them and also they will be ready for me to draw and play so i can storm into multiple things a turn hopefully.
ranger of eos gets small creatures out of my deck so I wont storm into them. Probably only have 2 ranger targets just to make it really unlikely to storm into them.
Hidden Retreat can put cards that I want to storm into that are in my hand back on top of my library, and can also mess with miracle cards which I am considering putting in the deck since.

It's extremely good with Melek and Riku. Melek for a stax element and Riku from a stax AND value perspective. There may be more but basically any general that allows you to get spells off while dodging the Possibility Storm trigger.
With this card in play, consider it a stax effect where all the nonlands in your everyone's hands read "random [cardtype] spell from your deck, unless you have Top". Now consider the following:
Melek can cast spells from the top of his library. These spells will not be effected by Possibility Storm. With a little library manipulation you can play your normal game without being drastically affected by PS.
Riku can copy an instant or sorcery and have the copy resolve before the PS trigger, and THEN copy whatever comes off the trigger. Giving you up to 3 spells for only one card. All while still letting you play the spells in your hand.
The huge upside on top of all this is that Possibility Storm protects itself AND your generals! You can't just Pongify a Melek if PS is in play-- you have to flip it off a PS trigger which is considerably harder.
Good with Ruric Thar because it makes people get hit twice with his ability for casting noncreatures.
Other than lifelink equips this is one of the few noncreature spells I think is worth playing with him as a general. Taking 12 just to TRY to kill it? Seems awesome.
Normally cards like this get dismissed as utter chaos jank, but usually its because they cost more than 5 mana and, well, they're jank.... but I think this has a lot of sleeper potential to be a the surprise performer and role player coming out of DGM. It protects itself and your board state pretty well and has ample opportunities to break its symmetry in a meaningful way.
It's also worth noting that with Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir, Possibility Storm basically stops your opponents from casting spells at all, similar to Knowledge Pool. This is the best of the "chaos red" enchantments we've seen in quite some time, and I'm excited to play it with Melek.

works well with Mishra when you cast the artifact putting mishra's trigger on the stack first then the PS second resolving the PS then get the artifact with mishra back from the deck

Wow. Mishra now has the possibility(pun intended) of being able to do something in EDH now.
I'm also kind of wondering if Possibility Storm would be something worth running even without riku or melek. The fact that it is another one of those cards that hurts decks that like to sculpt their hands. It also seems generally difficult to remove without having something like Divining top or Scroll rack to topdeck sift into a second removal spell.
Definitely goes into my Mishra deck. Cast an artifact, get an artifact for free? Also interacts nicely with actual Storm spells: each spell you play gives you another one to increase your storm count.
I was thinking the same thing. Many cards in my deck, once out, no longer really require me to cast spells. Cards like Lurking Predators, Birthing Pod, Guild Feud, or Elvish Piper allow me to avoid Possibility Storm completely, while potentially wrecking my opponent. It also allows me to play my lower CMC creatures to potentially receive a better one.

As far as non-general suggestions go, Future Sight lets you dodge the trigger so you can cast what you want to cast. Sensei's Divining Top, Sylvan Library and Cream of the Crop let you rearrange your library to "rig" your PS trigger.

but, exactly what sonik has said, 3 potential spells for "1" card. I use quotations because it gets put back in library, so never truly lost.
I also considered it like a potential polymorph for some decks; i may add it to rakdos, as another way to cheaply cast some of the big creatures.
