I converted my Kresh the Bloodbraided (also in this thread) to Adun Oakenshield last week. Quite a number of changes without the general-centric strategy. This deck rocks! All it's missing are foil fetchlands!

And here's the basics for the above deck. I'm particularly fond of the Mt. Fuji APAC mountain. I have been thinking of selling the Guru lands and replacing with more full-art foils, preferably unhinged.
Such a pretty deck, bravo. The only thing I don't like in it, aesthetics wise, is the Damnation.
Thank you. I like the full art Damnation, but I agree it should be the Planar Chaos version to fit the theme with the rest of the deck. I am going to make a few changes in the next week or so. I will post pictures of those cards and I will include pictures of a few honorable mentions such as cards that were cut over the years or were banned.
Which Bazaar are you referring to? I just built an Omnath deck and I'd like to try it out, as long as it isn't that super-expensive Vintage land...
I believe he's talking about Bazaar of Bagdad. Drawing cards in amazing and all but I can't see how well it'd be in that Omnath deck.

it's fetchable, so that's a plus. land draws get very redundant in the deck later on so you could put them to use as kindling for the bazaar.
you're probably right though. I've just been experimenting with different utility lands for my deck. I've been searching for a Diamond Valley, but think i might settle on Miren instead. I'd cut a non-land card to fit the Diamond Valley if i were to play it.
I've sold my deck as of a few months ago, but I miss it, so the adventure of rebuilding/repimping Reaper King has begun. Step one is to deproxy, then step two is to pimp it more than before!

True story...
First off I have a question: Which looks better for Darksteel Ingot Arena foil or the regular foil? My preference has always been the Arena foil. I’ve replaced some foils in my deck with originals. Also, I’ve included pictures of some “pimp” cards that at one time were in the deck.
The foil Mindslaver was signed and altered by Glen Angus at GP Madison 2006
why do i see mostly English foils not Japanese Korean or Russian, please post some of those to many common foils.
Not everyone (ie: most people) likes foreign cards. They like to be able to read/let other people read their cards, or they just don't think that other languages look at all better.
I, for one, find Japanese/Korean cards to be much more played out than English cards. I would rather play a white bordered English card in an EDH deck than a foil Japanese one.
I am pretty much done with my foil Rafiq deck now. I would post better pictures than I did before seeing that those were taken with a phone and are pretty awful, but I don't have any Japanese/Russian/Klingon cards in it, so I won't bother.
edit: Steino: I think the regular Darksteel Ingot looks better. I don't really care for the watermark in the text box when there is another choice that is otherwise the exact same available.
@Voffel: Your deck has a lot of new pimp since last time i saw it! Looks great and can't wait to see it again @ Norwegian Nationals this year (if you're going) or GP London or Paris (again if you're going xD). Otherwise you've got to let us know if your coming to Trondheim for some EDH action ^^,.
I have had my Cromat deck for a few months, but I never got around to scanning it until now. Most of my card choices are for aesthetic reasons. I have mainly Revised dual lands and some (2) Unlimited ones. Once I get around to it, I will probably upgrade to Beta's. Other than that and new releases, the deck is pretty much done. Double sleeved in KMC Perfect Size inners with KMC Super Blue outer sleeves.
Without further ado:
General and engine creatures: Mana and recursion creatures: Removal creatures: Blink, token, counter and draw creatures: Non Wild Pair creatures and mana artifacts: Wild Pair and engine cards: Tutors and library manipulation: Hand recursion and miscellany: Basic land: Dual lands: Shock lands: Fetch lands: Other lands:
Let me know what you think. It took me about 18 months to put this all together. Now that it's done, I feel like I need to put another one together. Maybe I'll do Ith next...

Edit : Nevermind. It looks like you were keeping everything english and not going for obscurity with cards that are otherwise impossible to pimp.
Altered Art on those three cards, maybe ?
I have never really liked running foreign language cards. I have had too many problems in my play group with people complaining about whether or not what I say a card does is what the card does. Beyond that, maybe Korean......maybe. I highly doubt I would go that direction, but until promo or reprint versions come out...oh wait, they can't be, except the Tower grumble grumble grumble.
As far as altered goes, I haven't really thought it out. With some really good alterers close by, I know it is an option, but I tend to be a condition freak. Might have to do some contemplating on the subject.
@Shunma
Have you decided on original print or judge promo on your Onslaught fetches yet? I liked having the consistent look of having them all in the new frame. Thoughts?

I too wrestled with this issue and have decided to go with the judge promo for the reason you mention. As much as I like old foils, in this case I think the deck would look better as a whole by going judge. Consistency wins the day. ;-)

Indeed. This is one of Wizards' great shames. Sneak Attack is another card that could use some foil lovin'.
I am impressed by your assembly of foil fetchlands, BTW. It's the last thing I need to do for my decks.

Sadistic Sacrament is just a test which is why it is not foil. Really wish that MBS has some sweet black card for this deck.

Currently acquiring foil fetch lands. The last thing many of my decks need. I've been holding off on that.
