Rings of Brighthearth also works with a lot of those, including Grimgrin (2 counters are better than 1 for 2), as well as fetch lands and other zombies like Shepherd of Rot, Helldozer, etc...
There's a list in my signature, if you're interested in interactions beyond straight combo. Gravecrawler and Bitterblossom are a couple of pretty obvious ones, but I really like how Grimgrin and Batterskull mesh - it's a good card on its own, and completely takes away Grimgrin's drawbacks.
Yeah batterskull is a shoo in. I love that card. As well as anything that gives grimgrin vigilance. Not to mention batterskull also provides a throw away creature to get grimgrin untapped in the first place.
5 Color Cromat with tons of tutoring that doesn't reveal the card. Play a few classic playing cards, a couple Uno Draw 4s (Ancestral Recall eat your heart out), some basic Pokemon for defense, a Get Out of Jail Free card, and have assembling all five pieces of Exodia be your win condition. People will flip because EXODIA!? IMPOSSIBLE! NOBODY'S EVER BEEN ABLE TO SUMMON HIM!
Im considering GG for a stax build. His unique ability to untap himself has a lot of synergy with cards like Meekstone and Opposition. Fetching a Meekstone off of a trinket mage is just pure tech.

That is not a terrible idea.
I personally prefer Sword of Vengeance over Batterskull. The lifelink is a big loss, but gaining all of the other abilities from the sword outweighs that. It costs 10 to cast and equip batter skull on the same turn but for 9UB you can cast the sword, then grimgrin and equip him. The token is not best tool for untaping him either.
I have also been enjoying Aura Thief. I took control of a bunch of vow's once and it made me giggle. Stealing a Lurking Predators with my Volrath's Stronghold untapped made me laugh manically.
finding a way to give him vigilance is a good idea. You still get to destroy and get a +1/+1 each turn you attack with him. Along with that you can sac **** to him when you need to. You don;t have to have him tapped to use the sac +1/+1
Rooftop Storm and Gravecrawler let Grimgrin get as big as you want. Blade of the Bloodchief and Grave Pact. Giving him Vigilance is fine, but if you go down that route you're not using his abilities to their full potential IMO. Pemmin's Aura and Crab Umbra have extra utility as well when the sac outlets aren't around(and they're also good with Visara the Dreadful and Avatar of Woe too). But I have to cast another vote for Opposition. It's really really good with Grimgrin if you have mana(and Black Market helps with that.
Stuff like Gravecrawler, Diregraf Captain, Rooftop Storm, and Phyrexian Altar all really work well both with and without Grimgrin, I highly recommend running them, they can be a really nice way to go either infinite, win, or just pump the **** outta Grimgrin.
I recommend taking a look either at my list (in my sig) or the primer someone else posted for some additional ideas (though my list, admittedly, relies a bit less on ol' Grimy).
Of course, you can always fetch it with Death Wish and cast it by using any "add one mana of any colour to your mana pool" manarocks (Manalith and similr stuff).
This is untrue. In an EDH game allowing Wishes, the only legal targets are the ten cards in your sideboard, and sideboards still have to adhere to the colour identity restriction. Even if that weren't the case, it's impossible to generate mana of a colour that is not part of your general's colour identity.
Thanks to everyone for your input. Does anyone know where to get the older cards from? Online maybe? I have a card shop in my area but they mostly carry the newer sets
Target Grimgrin. Tap to bounce something. Sac a guy to untap Grimgrin. Tap to bounce something. Repeat as desired. Meanwhile, Grimgrin is growing the whole time.

Huh? I don't think it works like that. I think the guy will be gone if u intend to sac it. Unless there is something I'm missing

To the people that say that a card needs to be a higher rarity because of Limited... I hate you guys so much. I present to you with this.
Many Grimgrin builds focus on generating tons/infinite tokens - this would be a pretty good play with such a build, since you could easily leave a clear board for a single-lethal-hit general.
Really? I tend to find that on the turns you want to attack you'll have a lot of tokens (Army of the Damned) or have gone infinite (Gravecrawler + Rooftop Storm). Since you'll already be untapping because of the sacrifices, it helps you clear your way for the big strike.
So you finally cast a 8 mana sorcery that makes 13 2/2s, getting through a wall of countermagic perhaps, and then you sac your new army to make Gringrin unblockable? Um, no thanks.
Also, rooftop storm is jank and good Gringrin decks don't run it.

Do you have a link for a good Grimgrin deck? As all the decks in the database seem to run rooftop storm.

Grimgrin gets the ability. After knack resolves he reads:
Tap: bounce a non land permanent.
Sac a creature: untap & +1/+1 counter.
Whenever Grimgrin attacks, destroy a creature & +1/+1 counter.
As long as you have the creatures to untap him, he can keep bouncing things.
EDH - Ghave, Guru of Spores
EDH - Rafiq of the Many
EDH - Roon of the Hidden Realm
Seems like a really weak play to me. Why sac your tokens just to bounce stuff? In my experience you only usually have 1 or 2 tokens max.
