Is there a reputable retailer who sells World Championship Deck singles? I'm looking to pick up a Wasteland and City of Brass for my cube, but I'd like to avoid eBay if possible. Neither ChannelFireball nor SCG seem to carry them.

Cardshark.com is a good source. I've been able to pick up lots of WC cards, usually from just one or two sellers to avoid excessive shipping costs.
I just don't see how people manage with such small cubes. Making cuts must be impossible.
Well, cutting cards certainly is difficult because most of the time you cut really good cards. What I like about smaller lists is that you can properly support aggro - at 360 with really good aggro one drops and very few if any questionable ones, and soon enough at 450 as well.
Yeah, getting to the lower numbers is hard, but once you're there . . . no that's hard too. I guess you get used to it. lol. The play and draft experience is really cool though knowing that you're more likely to get the best of the tools you need for your deck.
I went down from 720 to 450 at one point. That was rough. A little latter I cut down to 360. I don't like 360 as much so I'm planning on going back up to 450 after my exam tomorrow.

hey guys, just a quick question. i'm making an isd/dka/avr cube, and was really struggling to decide how to do the multicolour section. since most of them aren't even multicolour thanks to off-colour flashback (and random stuff like nightfall predator), i'm wondering if using the hybrid method that some people use would make the most sense, where they count each card for half a card in both colours.
of course it doesn't help that selesnya is terribly under-represented, and golgari and simic both have an unplayable card. and i mean, how do you make two cuts for orzhov out of isolated chapel / vault of the archangel / sorin / lingering souls / unburial rites it's just ridiculous.

For off-color flashback, if you don't want to add the cards to multicolor, just put them in the color of their casting cost. You can profitably play the spell for that cost. In order to pay the flashback cost you have to get it to the graveyard first which is hard if you can't pay the casting cost in the first place.
edit: disregarding gold balance is good advice as well. All color pairs are not created equal.
i just ended up disregarding gold balance to avoid having a headache trying to figure out the numbers. it's a very unbalanced gold section but i'm sure it'll be fine.
I prefer to use equal support, but using a low enough value so that you're not stretching for good cards. Allowing all types of multicolor cards (gold, hybrid, split, off-color flashback, off-color kicker, land triggers, Signets/Talisman, etc) to compete against each other really broadens your potential inclusions so that the number of true gold cards can be as limited as you want.
But in a cube as limited in scope as the one suggested above, I wouldn't even bother with a guild section, I'd just include the handful of "gold" cards that are god enough and disregard balance altogether. Put them wherever you want.
I'm considering adding a 162-card section to my cube just for purposes of 1v1 grid drafting. This has proven to be a great way to do two-player drafts, but I do not like how when an 'engine' piece like Squee shows up there could easily not be anything in the pile to go with it.
So there's a few considerations to be made.
I could include a few of the engine cards as the other components will be in the stack. I could avoid them because of how much space they can take up.
I'm thinking about changing up a few things to make it play less like the main cube. One thing I'm considering is having some a few picks that would each represent a playset of some self-referencing card. This seems like a cool way to include things like Squadron Hawk and Accumulated Knowledge in the cube. I'm not sure if there's a good way to include Korlash, Heir to Blackblade and Demigod of Revenge without them being nonsensical. I also can't think of anything beyond those four that would be worthwhile.
In honour of the MTGO cube temporarily going powered, I've decided to also go powered for a few weeks. Just printed off some proxies onto some cards. I think they look pretty good for how little effort I put into making them
I will now refer to my Powered Cube as a Pube for short.
I took out the signets a while back and have been happy without thems. It has also freed up some slots for otherw awesome cards.
