9% off coupon code from there website (MTGOTraders.Com) if you pay via PayPal:
MTGSally
The vip coupon code is for customers that have an average order amount over $75. This helps us by saving on paypal fees since we aren't getting pinged on those $5 payments. There is one last coupon that is for people with an average of $150 or more but not many people get that one as you can imagine. The margins on MTGO are tiny tiny so even an extra 2%-3% off is very hard for us to do and still make profit.
Having said that I made a coupon for you mtgsally users that is inbetween the vip and normal coupon and the code is mtgsallypaypal and it's 9% off your order when using paypal. Enjoy!
Heres a couple I use, they seem to be good general bots that have competitive prices.
The sell to bots are good because they give decent prices for your cards instead of trying to rip you off and take your 2 baneslayers for .50 cents a piece like most of the bots.

how do you use the free bots? do you just trade with them? and they just give you whatever you want? up to 64?
Thats exactly what you do. They only have crappy commons up for trade and you can take as much as you want of any card up to a total of 64. Don't expect to be getting anything you want from them since they normally have older cards that most people don't want at all.

The sharpbot chain is the cheapest I've found. The only problem is they specialize in Standard singles only, so you won't be able to get any older cards from them.

I like not spending tons of credit at overpriced bots on commons and uncommons that are upcharged by 80% at big bots.
There are some really good 100 commons for 1 ticket bots, that sell these same commons that big bots like Thecardstore/MTGOtraders/Marlon Bots sell for .8-.10 credit each.
Just do a search for "100" and a few of these will pop up. My favorite bot is VWBulkBuyer, he's the same bot that supplies these overpriced places like MTGO traders and thecardstore. He sells 150 GOOD commons for 1 ticket.

Name 1 common I sell for .8 that the bot has for 1 cent. Seriously this is the 100th time you have made up stuff about me and it's past old.
On a side note yes those 100 for 1 bots are a great place to get commons but they do not have a full selection so it's a great place to get all the cheap fillers.

I'm not here to argue with you, I'm here to recommend new players who don't have the tickets to waste paying over priced bots for commons and uncommons. VWBulkBuyer among many others sell commons that MTGO Traders/The Card Store/Aboshanbot and other big bots sell for .08-.10 for .01 or less credit. Cards like Burst Lightning, Harrow, Steppe Lynx, Putrid Leech, etc. The only problem with these bots is most are low caliber bots, meaning you have to take only 24 at a time or they will crash, which takes extra time that you wouldn't lose at a big bot.

Ok sure but your post did say .8 which means 80 cents. Of course you can save money if you have the time to shop around I totally agree.

Do we choose the cards we get from them or are they random?
Seriously? As far as I know you are aloud to select the cards you want in exchange for cards they want. Some times you get the option of what you don't want to trade to them by typing in the number of the card but, thats on a few select bots that do that.
Break it up both of you. Time to get over this little feud you've had across multiple threads.

Fantastic! Perhaps I needn't worry about the two of you anymore.
Just wanted to let people know that for a n00b, I found some solid deals by typing in "200" in the search bar in classifieds. I found the "_______B______" line of bots to offer 200 commons for 1 ticket, 40 uncommons, 8 rares. I found some pretty solid items including Hexmages, Nighthawks, Ponders, and many T2 staples. I had to bounce around each of their bots, but they all used my credit. My only complaint was that the time limit sometimes went on me and I had to grab and dash.
You can go to the classifieds and paste a list of what your selling and how much you want, you can sell them off to various buybots found in the classifieds, ebay them, try to auction them in /join auction, etc.
How many cards are you trying to sell, how valuable is time and what is the quality of the cards compared to quantity?

Garruk Wildspeaker only goes for about $10 on MTGO. Good place to check prices for MTGO cards is MTGOTraders.Com Your probably going to have to sell it lower then most of the bots if you wish to sell it. Don't forget MTGO cards are generally alot cheaper then there paper versions.
Just wanted to pass along that I've found it exteremely easy to start up for cheap. I gave myself $20 in tix, and challanged myself to find as much as I could to make many of the decks I would want to play. Granted, many "top notch" rares I had to avoid, but I've ended up finding all the junk rares I could want to work with, all the uncommons, and commons for dirt cheap, with very little "bad moves" for that price limit.
This baby helped me avoid overspending and finding some sick deals on certain cards I really REALLY wanted. Also kept me from spending hours going from bot to bot looking for one card. Not to mention telling me who's buying for the right prices as well.
You can play MTGO pretty easily on the cheap. Or I'd say even buying the cards you need for that one really competitive deck you want to make for less than in RL.
I love playing in RL, but when you get too much on your plate and can't make it to events on a regular basis... this is a fantastic way to play.
