I guess there just isn't a sense of right and wrong anymore.
It isn't fair to me to let him play, because if we get paired, I'm sure you'll just give him the win because we can't communicate righ?
This is beyond rediculous now.
My deck code is: b839caf7
Sorry for the delay, been a very busy week.
Arbitrarily refusing to use instant messengers to try to contact him is ridiculous. There are easy ways to contact him if you get paired, and if you can't do so because you refuse to download AIM (hell, you don't even have to download it; you can go to their website and use it there), then, yeah, you deserve the loss.

Please think of all possible things I may have to deal with to get online, before you make comments like that.
I use government computers for normal forum posting. I'm lucky I can even use the forums from work. That being said, I do not have internet at my home because frankly, I don't speak the language here and the translaters only work between 9am-5pm Mon-Fri, which sucks since I work from 7am-7pm.
The little time I have of my own, I try not to spend it at a location using the internet. I have chores to do like laundry, cleaning, work I take home. I don't have a mother taking care of me like many people who post on the internet. I live and take care of myself. So, me not having an IM service is right now, just not going to happen. Besides, how would he tell me what his name on any service actualy was.

So... you're telling us through the internet that you don't like being on the internet? Sure, let's leave that one where it is.
Anyway, if anybody who doesn't like The Infamous Bear Assassin (or, in rational cases, merely isn't on "The Source" or AOL or anything else) gets matched with him here's what they should do:
PM me here. I'll be checking this site eight or ten times a day for the duration of the tournament.
I'll PM Jack immediately on the Source with your exact message.
As soon as he PMs me back (I'm on the Source prolly like two or three times an hour for about ten hours a day so that won't be a big wait) I'll PM you back.
There. See? That wasn't that hard.
Also, you're ridiculous for just throwing a hissy fit when you get matched up against somebody you don't like.
Also, you're ridiculous for traveling to a country without the having paid its citizens the courtesy of at least attempting to learn their language.

I have no problem with IBA, he's a fellow service member, but again do you think the source would let me play in their tourneys, and have people PM me over here? The answer is no.
It comes down to the definition of being banned, but then again, everyone else is going to make it into he's not banned on the source so it is ok, because the source is more important. I am arguing for the principle, not against who he is.
LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR...I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH IBA.
As for learning the language, I have learned enough Japanese to hold a small conversation in person, or make a young woman blush, but speaking with the internet provider over the phone seems to be an issue. I think his dialect is a little different than mine, and I'd really call what I am doing here travel. [/sarcasm]
Confirming defeat. Hilarious starting hand G2, sadly, that was not enough.

Alright, Isamaru and I are done. 2-1 in favour of me, Apex.
The matchup was pretty lopsided, but Isamaru piloted his deck very well and put up a good fight. Hope you win all your other matches so we can meet again in the Top 8.

While netdecking and testing VileHorror i thought about Biorhythm. Sure its really expensive, off-color and crappy but still you're always the one with creatures while playing VH. That made me think.
And that is all I'm going to say publicly. If you want a further explanation, PM me. Enough with this getting dragged across the thread.

Nothing says budget help like receiving $5000 in recommendations.
I guess leaving out Time Walk, Timetwister, and Ancestral Recall is budget.

Julian23, good games, and good luck.

What part of "I am banned from the source" did you not understand?
Thus I can not go there and PM him.

Correct. Both have been entered and paired against eachother. I need a better way of recording who's entered, given the number of people missed.

Have any questions or concerns? Come take a dip in my pool.
Just to somewhat correct this, I was assuming he was using my timezone when fixing up a game time to play.
We will get it done tomorrow though :).
