Arcane lab and rule of law can still be bounce that's a problem. There really isn't much we can do against ANT decks but hope they have a bad hand.
I usually go off on turn 2 or 3 on my ANT so it's just a really tough M/U
Has anyone else ever tried adding winter orb to their affinity build?
I have tried Winter Orb, and I like it versus control decks and decks that need their lands. But I replaced Aether Vial with the Orb, which they both probably need to be together to work best. Winter Orb versus aggro/burn however hurts Affinity more than aggro, at least it seems to me, but theoretically Affinity should be fine.
I'm not a big fan of Vial, and I think its a sideboard card, personally. It only is good if your opponent has a counterspell, or good for a surprise visit. Orb and Springleaf Drum are super nice together though. More testing is needed with and without Vial though.
Not very helpful, but try it. It might be your playstyle or it might not.

Vial is good regardless of whether or not your opponent has counterspells. It allows you to play creatures you might not have the color mana for, as well as allowing you to drop a Disciple, Ravager, or Master of Etherium for free during combat to completely mess up your opponent. Vial is also very good in the MD because most legacy decks have taken to running Wasteland, and Vial will allow you to play your spells even if your opponent denies you your mana.

This.
On top of all that, it allows you to drop creatures during standstills too. Don't play Vial Affinity, the best kind of affinity, without vial!
I don't know how you can play vial affinity without vial:rolleyes2:
Anyway, vial gives you creature advantage by being able to drop two creatures instead of one on your turn. Not to mention use it to block their creatures on their turn. It is too important for this deck for it not to be included.
Vials are not that good against aggro, most of the time I side them out if im not facing control.
This is true but, you can normally make other plays to make Vial your 3rd spell of the turn and also VA makes up for the loss in speed with dropping Master's for free on turn 4. When I do side out Vial (which is hardly ever) I normally only side out 1, the advantage of playing dudes for free is too great to overlook no matter what match up your playing (besides combo).

I usually side out 1 against Aggro as well, but other than against Dredge or Storm, I keep them in.
I personally don't think you need to change that much. The one of Mortify isn't going to do anything imo. My other problem with Mortify is that it costs 3 mana. You can use Swords to Plowshares at only 1 mana, and it could also end up being relevant against a few other match-ups, including burn. Other than that the deck looks pretty solid. I personally don't use green, but that is just my personal preference.

But, look.If my opponent have more than one Kataki(or another creatures), i use Mortify and after my Extirpate, removing from game the other ones.If i use only Sword To Plowshares, Kataki will be removed from the game and i can't use Extirpate to eliminate the others.
Yep, for this reason that i use only 1 Extirpate and 1 Mortify.
But, you have any suggestion for a card that can be replaced the Extirpate and Mortify slot?
Thanks man.
-1 Extirpate -1 Mortify -1 Duress/Ethersworn Canonist +3 Swords to Plowshares/Path to Exile. Your taking up 2 slots for Kataki, War's Wage hate with 2 sub-par cards that can be replaced with something better like Swords/Path. You can easily come down either a Duress or a Canonist with adding Swords because not only does it add creature hate but when combo storms on you, you can Swords a creature in response to gain life. So going this route you will be playing 8-10 combo hate cards plus being able to take out creatures like Kataki and since those who side Kataki only side 2 maybe 3 you should not have that much of a problem handling it.

Well Extirpate is "OK" if you sideboard it in against the right deck which certainly isn't the same deck as you would board mortify in against. Do you want to fight combo? Or aggro - aggrocontrol decks?
Ok, so probably most people know at this point that Metalworker is off the banned list. So, this begs the question, could he be used in Affinity? Most of the deck is artifacts so you could easily get 6-8 mana off him. However, in Affinity's current form, Metalworker would be bad, just slowing the deck down. But, could a new type of Affnity be created to use Metalworker? Affiinity has been stagmant for a while not really being able customize its maindeck due to deck constraints except for a few slots. Maybe this can give Affinity a new look. Thoughts?
The two blue may be difficult to get, but could be useful?
Just a thought.
Block it with Ornithopter? Besides that, they should be dead before they can get more than 1 or 2 hits on you with it.
@noisome: I personally wouldn't play it because it wouldn't be netting me any artifacts. If you find a way to abuse it though, please let me know.

Any tips on how to deal with it? I know there really isn't much to do but some sort of secret tech would be nice.
