i would love to use Dauntless Escort
but i have a couple of friends that use black decks with Mutilate
and i dont think indestructible stops that?
Nope. But if you add some more white sources, Twilight Shepherd is pretty good.
Edit: persist is very good (annoyingly so) against mass removal. I like Kitchen Finks, and Heartmender could be sweet with Twilight Shepherd.

Could use some ideas for dealing with the eldrazi ahnihilator mechanic though
It was quite cheap and not very good. I need to touch it up a bit.
I want to replace infest for mutilate. I'm also going to finally drop the dark rituals because they haven't done anything for me, mana wise. Of course they make great first turn plays but they basically suck. They would be more useful as lands or to cut down to 60 cards, especially as singleton cabal coffers and Urborg, yawgmoth's tomb
Duress is always good against combo decks, and the occasional midrange deck for taking out elspeths and such, but they do nothing against others like tribal vampires or very dedicated WW.
Dropping that to a three of.
I keep a singleton Dark Tutelage because it makes for great late game (Not as much as phrexian arena is but whatever.) I might just buy that necropotence and use that in place of it.
I was also considering running 2 expedition maps to consistantly fetch out the singleton lands I was talking about.
I wanted to share a deck, I found a deck list for, sadly I had gotten rid of this deck soo long ago and I wish I had not. its like the ultimate Group Hug deck. so I remade it with some tweaks.
I have ways to win of course but I never attack. When i did play this deck I would ask who wants this or that. ect.. and plop down. I am a little worried with Eldrazi floating about in MP now with the free plays but hopefully people run some thing to do about it.
I've never seen a well built multiplayer burn deck. Here is my attempt at one. The main reason I wanted to build this deck was for ball lightning and insurrection (seems like an excellent multiplayer card). They got removed because I want to deal damage to a larger range of targets.
I have 12 mass removal spells in it. My only concern about the deck is direct damage to players. I want to add fireball, but it doesn't fit well with Chandra. I wouldn't mind a recurring burn spell. Hammer seems to slow, Pulse is very conditional. The only other burn spell I could think of is Rekindled Flame.
Yup, this is what I was looking for. Seems like an effective way to wipe the board and deal damage to opponents at the same time. So far its the only resourceful way I have seen to do a multiplayer burn deck.
I used to run flash, then I found caltrops and it was cheaper and did the same thing, plus you kinda want them to build up just a few creatures so you can sweep for the big numbers.
The other card, just seems like too much work for single target damage.
The other way is, a blue/white/red hive mind deck. Sizzle wouldn't be bad in the above list either.

Yah, I take back the Kindle idea. Have you ever taken a lot of damage from having Varchild's War-Riders out? Genesis chamber would be another good token gen.
Originally I wanted to do something with insurrection, and its just morphed into other ideas. Think I want to keep it mono-red. My friends all mass creatures (while I mostly go control) so the repercussion route would definitely bring the pain.
IN mp, most people won't be able to do anthing with it because next turn caltrops drops if it doesn't then well ouch for a few turns possibly. But if you mean from my sweeping damage, no, I just won't pay the upkeep when I'm ready to hurt people.
ANYWAY... I got a new format idea. It's a variant on Chaos, I call it "Hiring"
Here is the idea. You have a permanents (Rather, artifacts and enchantments) deck, so why not put Planeswalkers in there too? All this other random junk is going on around you, so who knows? Maybe Chandra got caught in this "rift" of sorts while she was walking the Blind Eternities? However, for this to work, you would need to take turns at who goes at the decks. The idea is that the artifacts/enchantments deck is a lot less popular than the sorceries/instants, because more of them have negative effects. This is a way to give incentive to pick from that deck.
You will want to put 5 planeswalker cards in the chaos deck, one of each color. If you are running an enemy colored deck to the planeswalker you got, it comes into play with only one loyalty counter on it. If you are running an allied or the same color are it, it comes into play with normal. If you are running both (Flipping Garruk Wildspeaker in a R/B deck), it comes into play with normal still. I would avoid multicolored planeswalkers, unless we can find a way to work around the color rules a bit (Or just disregard them), and I would avoid the use of more deck-specific planeswalkers (So no Nissa Revane.)

I was talking with my buddy at work today and he showed me the kindle card and I misread it. It is quit good, problem is now, tey just revealed a kicker of a global damage spell in MBS that can be chosen to hit only creatures and that's pretty awesome.
Been a while since I've been in here. I was going to ditch the idea of gathering support for MP since every attempt has been shot down. However, I got a personal message from someone who actually can change things, and there is an MP board in the works.
So until then, my faith has been restored, and we'll try and get some discussion going in here again.
I too would like a Multiplayer centered Sub-forum.
Kind of like The Cube subforum in the Limited Forum.
I know I would often post there as that's pretty much the only casual format I play with friends.
But I'm also thinking a thread like this one here might be better (but sticky it of course). Because I know a lot of people play both multiplayer and duels; would a subforum dilute content somewhat?
Primary and only casual rule: "any rule that is fine for the most part of the playgroup, is a fine rule". So any further thread with: "if somebody uses/does .... in a casual game, is it ethical/ok?", read the answer above.
- Being a "Johnny/Spike" means you like self-torture. You win often in casual, so everybody hates you; you loose often in competitive, so you hate yourself.
Tis true, the casual forum is a great community but it is heavly diluted with single players. You can google cube form, limited forum, edh forum and find it. All it takes is those little words "Multiplayer Sub Forum and the community will flock. I can't wait.
So yes, its back, if anyone has any MP decks they want to discuss for other MP fans to see lets, see them! Or if you have a single player deck you are looking to convert!
I think most any deck I post in this forum is multiplayer casual based; actually. With the exception of my random vintage jank deck (I could post it here, but eh), all decks are acceptable multiplayer.
I'll have to make a spoiler at some point to show what I'm playing. I'll probably end up posting and editing this.
As soon as I saw the Praetors it gave me an excuse to build my first rainbow deck for multiplayer.
I just recently tried to incorporate 3 chancellors, because there opening effects are awesome and they have flying. Unfortunately, they wouldn't be protected with Steely Resolve and wouldn't be tutored with Time of Need. That sucks. I could replace both those with Asceticismand Eladamri's Call or Worldly Tutor. Asceticism isn't as fast and Eladamri would involve adding more white.
The same way all running cars can you get you from a to z. But if getting to a to z is a race, you need the right car, just like multiplayer you can't bring just any deck into MP and be good.
MP is different than straight casual, at least different enough it needs to develope its on community away from the casual maneframe
I think you misunderstood me, what I should have said was "All of my decks are built with multiplayer in mind".
That being said, I agree that mulitplayer is a different creature than two player casual. In my entire magic "career" I've played four to five player multiplayer games. Just the way I grew into it. I appreciate a good multiplayer game far more than I appreciate a two player game of any stripe.
If you play multiplayer you could probably find some appeal in my decks. I'll post them here in a bit.

Tajuru Preserver is the thing that immediately comes to mind.
Rasputin Dreamweaver EDH
going for a more agressive tactic might pay off
like Blitz Hellion
Opinions?
If not, ill probably go with Kitchen Finks
