Just out of curiosity, why take out the M12 Garruk? And why not run a body and mind? (I know my setup didnt have one, just wondering why not to include one.. the 2/2 is relevant with garruks ult).... Also what about the skinshifters? I feel like they are great sword carriers..
I tried to keep your list as close to what you had because I wasn't sure why you where playing certain cards... I would replace your Blade Splicers with Skinshifter...
As for the M12 Garruk you will find that you will not get a whole lot of draw out of him and I prefer to untap and tap lands and the overrun will make your guys a threat fast.
I like the deck idea and i like how this thread is evolving, is nice to see a deck creator ( ilovemagic in this case) that can actually not cry about any critic and take them as suggestions and try them, that always take to good results.
yeah lol this deck solely from my two favorite colors and thnx to Prophet_DNA for actually taking interest in this deck and helped this thread to where it is now also to darkspellscards and Issues13 for giving us a working base to base this deck off of its not only me but everybody part of this thread and thank you Poroto
That's skinshifter's trick... he looks like he's a good something, but he's actually a mediocre everything.
i am somewhat going to disagree with what you said.....they are espically good for a turn 2 t4/4 trampler (Bop and two lands) to get the damage in but i haven't tested it for like days but this is working preety well for the first day! So far it hasn't been mediocre i really like equipping swords to it which is preety cool because it helps get damage in any way
EDIT: no more testing till Sunday since im moving it to college for the next three days(after thursday) if i don't answer to this forums i promise i will be back
lost to valakut round 1 1-2
won against valakut 2-1
won against u/w control 2-0
won against splinter twin 2-1
the only changes i made were removing karn, for a second norn, and removing the wall of omens for rampant growth, the curve works much much smoother this way. in 3 of my games tonight i dropped turn 4 elesh norn it was some SWEETness..
This deck now warrants testing on MTGO for me and will start collecting the cards I need. First time I have played this deck and love it... I think it has alot of potential but still needs alot of work...

i love the deck
is Karn really helping ur deck because i always felt that it was too costly for what it does and Norn does the +2/+2 and -2/-2 usually win you the game when it resolves.....

When i get around to testing Hero......i think it is something that is going to push this over the top and why Inkmoth Nexus? alternate wincon(Equipments)? and another thing i liked about Skinshifter it fills the role of a midsized creature preety well with the 4/4 trampler.....but so far this deck has been working out preety well and im really liking the way this is turning around and 2-3 more hours of testing this deck tommorrow with my friends(Mill deck - Jace, Memory Adept Deck(it got a turn 4 kill on me once), Mono Red, Mono Blue Artichet(game usually lasts between 1-2 hours(exageration) this deck is insanely resilint(Elixir of Immortailty keeps rotating the deck), R/W Knights and Dragons, some kind of mass Aura Deck, and Mono Black)

Block with birds with swords or skirges with swords... anything with a color protection really... Sword on inkmoth is pretty good too lol... I think I need to take a step back and go over notes and figure out what all I need to change...
Couple of cards that I am wondering about too would be Spellskite to help protect your creatures... Batterskull... and maybe even Acidic Slime...
The thing I noticed right off the bat... if you are playing the mid range version forget about the DoJ... I need my creatures thank you very much. I also prefer the Sword of War and Peace vs SoFaF because it ends games quick... Skinshifter with a Batterskull or Sword is no joke lol... starting to love that card. Also as a three of for Sun Titan you really don't need... two of is the most IMO... if you need him bringing things back you are probably all ready in trouble he seems to be a win more... I want to be in a good position on turn four and five.
This deck has a natural problem with control decks so I am also thinking with a dense creature package Summoning Trap might be good for the sideboard? Alot to think about...
Edit: Also how has Squadron Hawk been performing for you guys? Seems like attaching the Sword to Skinshifter or BoP is a better play then bringing back Hawks...

i feel the same way with Squadron Hawk I always wished it to be something else i mean i do like the effect since it refills my had for cheap creatures but as i said before i want some beefy creature ranging from 4cmc-5cmc and Hero seems good for it and i don't have War and Peace but i feel like everytime it would comes out the other play would have like 1-3 cards so it doesn't feel like its worth playing it but i may be wrong and what do you guys think about SoBaM in sideboard??? and Dismember v. Beast Within i know beat within has its uses but when u are testing if you play Beast Within would you rather it be Dismember or when you play Dismember would rather it be Beast Within (just something to think about when testing)

EDIT: I said in an above post i will post the results but we only got through half the game(GW Natural Justice v. Mono Blue Artichet) before we decided to play a 6person Rumble Rules but i will see if we can get some serious testing tommoroww
- 1 Garruk,Primal Hunter
+ 1 Gideon
-1 Nature's Claim +1 Oblivion Ring I think you would be better of with the extra O-Ring and i would +1 Nature's Claim -1 O-RIng in the sideboard
-4 Hawks + 2 Sun Titan(maybe) +1 Mirran +1 Blade Splicer I thin you got enough birds and im considering cutting them too
-3 Stirring Wildwood +3 Plains i think you have enough creatures where this wouldn't help you much and since u have a more white heavy creatures i would add Plains
Genarally i would just tell you to replace Nest for Viridian but i like how Nest provides 2 bodies so i think you should test this route
I haven't tested a lot to tell you for sure to run Batterskull but i would recommend it since u are running dismember (maybe cut a sword)
This deck now warrants testing on MTGO for me and will start collecting the cards I need. First time I have played this deck and love it... I think it has alot of potential but still needs alot of work...
-4 Kor Firewalker
He eats dismember all day long.
+4 dismember
Eats many creatures all day long, for cheap.

You also have too many Beast Within.
I think Beast Within with all the reasons listed above is viable to run but I wouldn't consider it since Beast Within would trump most of the creatures in this deck but Skinshifter is preety much the only thing that could deal with so I think the addition of Hero(whenever) warrants the use of Beast within a little more but for now I would recommend Dismember
Prophet_DNA and my deck are pretty similar and since he is testing Beast Within and im testing Dismember after a few days of testing we can try to compare which is best for this deck
EDIT: and i just noticed Celestial Purge says "Permanant" i think this warrants a 4 of in the sideboard for Valakut!!!!(sorry i am exicted but i always thought it said creature)
No, no, he really has too many beast within. He's running 5.
I liked this, sigged.
But back on track, Beast within and dismember should be played as a split as dismember doesn't give them a 3/3 for their troubles and you would want to play beast within on more valuable non creature targets.

EDIT: Anyways I was thinking about 4 Celestial Purge in the sideboard???? for valakut what do you guys think
Seems like the deck I'm currently testing is very similar to you guys, and I love the Natural Justice name. Very curious to see how Skinshifter works out for everyone, cause the cards seems very powerful, and I actually have 2 in my binder that are looking for a home.
I think u should test as is and see how it works out (actually i think you should take out Stirring personally since this deck has many low mana costed creatures i don't think its going to be used very often and it would be better being a basic land) and Nature's Claim over Naturalize the 4 life doesn't matter

I really don't think Celestial Purge does anything against Valakut, considering they hardly play any red permanents aside from Urabrask, the Hidden and sometimes Inferno Titan. Valakut itself is a land, and therefore colorless.
Updated list
@ilovemagic I jave only ever had karn on the field one time in testing. And that 1 game he won me tje game exiling a total of 5 cards out of my ipponents hand/field. He is quite good

One thing I find interesting is that most of these cards will survive rotation now... Even though that wasn't the plan it just took a natural course that way...
Hawks have Synergy with Elesh Norn and the swords, and I would like it to ramp and draw, but more ramp. Since there would only be 24 lands in the deck, Explore isn't really optimal and there just for the draw. Spellskite is MD to protect the important creatures. There's 3 slots open in the SB, not sure what would go in there for the deck.

Well as you can see (now deleted) the first version of this was only built with the blocks that can withstand the test of time and it still kinda has that core but with the addition of Hero i think only Garruk will be taken out for maybe the new Garruk...loving the natural course

I was wondering why you are mainboarding Acidic Slime.....and instead of rampant growth what about BoP? it gives you black mana if you need it and another body for ur equips and Inkmoth is it actually helping the deck????? 3 Elesh?? would 2 be better possibly....

I think that most of the creatures here i want....so i want to test a version with Timely Rienforcments to see which one works better
i take that back 5 Beast Within's would totally replace the DoJ's and even be better than TImely Rienforcements
I was wondering why you are mainboarding Acidic Slime.....and instead of rampant growth what about BoP? it gives you black mana if you need it and another body for ur equips
Acidic is a 2-1 creature. It deals with opposing swords, can mana screw or kill man lands, artifacts, (if you're alive) TS enchantment, and has deathtouch. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's in the 5 mana spot with the PWs.
Speaking of enchantments and artifacts, Nature's Claim could go there.
As for BoP, it's kinda useless late game and you're not guaranteed to find the swords. At least with the hawks, you ping until Elesh Norn drops and the extra 1 already on the hawk closes it out faster. Life as a resource is awesome and if managed properly wont lose you the game.
Inkmoth is just a test. It's an emergency colorless blocker, colorless being the key word. With a decent amount of mana, you can equip with swords and with Elesh it's hitting for 3. You can actually use it against the decks like Puresteel that gain life.

Acidic Slime is nice but since its 5cmc you could throw in Nature's Claim if ur only having trouble againsts enchantments and Artifacts but then man lands becomes a problem if you don't have it then it would require Beast Within....so Acidic Slime is nice and it might replace Nature's Claim/Beast Within in my deck how is it working out so far for you?
About the Bop's.....ur saying its useless late game but i don't think this deck will get to the late game if it does ....with Bop the deck will get its mana it needs and you will be able to drop Elesh fast enough that ur either going to win the game immedaitly or a 2-3 turns later......by then ur Bop's are 2/3's that can carry a sword..... and they won't be useless....if u need to it provides a blocker so late game having a 2/3 flying creature is nice with swords a 4/5 thats insane and ur saying its useless(and it provides any color mana).....
EDIT: this might not happen all the time and by that ur probably winning but imagine GWildspeaker Ultimate + Elesh Norn what im trying to say is that since ur running creatures buffs like Elesh and GarrukWildspeaker u might as well have those 4 growth be creatures......
EDIT: no testing like i said i was going to me and my friend decided packing was going to be more important
after seeing how Elesh could be so powerful i am thinking about:
Timely - want to try this instead of DoJ since i like having my creatures on the board too
Thurn - Control
Beast - Valakut for now
SoFaF - i have no idea why this is here but i have an extra one...... could put better use to this
Nature- TS
GAbolisher - Control
That would be the other problem with BoP, it's creature ramp. If someone were to Pyroclasm or Slagstorm the board, you could be mana screwed. The lands are, somewhat, permanent. The cut was more for, "which one will I get more use out of?" The answer is the hawks. Other than red, no deck runs enough spot removal for them, they ping, thin the deck, and who uses a board wipe for 1-2 creatures(people who are in trouble, that's who!) The hawks will be 3/3s and 5/5s with swords.
Acidic can easily become a something different in the deck. I just thought of it as a 2-1, but it may be a bit slow. This build actually can't just ignore a vanilla 3/3, so Oblivion Ring is used in it's place.

Adjustments to the deck.
You need DoJ...

I actually wanted to forgo the DoJs. Seems like keeping my creatures would be good, but who knows? Needs testing.
I think that most of the creatures here i want....so i want to test a version with Timely Rienforcments to see which one works better
i take that back 5 Beast Within's would totally replace the DoJ's and even be better than TImely Rienforcements
I was wondering why you are mainboarding Acidic Slime.....and instead of rampant growth what about BoP? it gives you black mana if you need it and another body for ur equips and Inkmoth is it actually helping the deck????? 3 Elesh?? would 2 be better possibly....
2x Gideon Jura
2x Garruk Wildspeaker
CREATURES (22)
4x Virdian Emmisary
3x Skinshifter
3x Hero of Bladehold
4x Birds of Paradise
4x Mirran Crusader
2x Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite
2x Sun Titan
2x Sword of War and Peace
1x Sword of Feast and Famine
1x Batterskull
3x Oblivion Ring
3x Dismember
LANDS (24)
8x Forest
8x Plains
4x Sunpetal Grove
4x Razorverge Thicket
3x Timely Reinforcements
2x Thrun, the Last Troll
3x Beast Within
1x Sword of Feast and Famine
3x Nature's Claim
3x Grand Abolisher
Timely - want to try this instead of DoJ since i like having my creatures on the board too
Thurn - Control
Beast - Valakut for now
SoFaF - i have no idea why this is here but i have an extra one...... could put better use to this
Nature- TS
GAbolisher - Control
Acidic can easily become a something different in the deck. I just thought of it as a 2-1, but it may be a bit slow. This build actually can't just ignore a vanilla 3/3, so Oblivion Ring is used in it's place.
