This is a homebrew deck I made with random commons and uncommons. Any suggestions on how to improve this deck (I want to keep it to all commons and uncommons) for an FNM.

Steppe Lynx and Plated Geopede are absolutely ace when you can run fetches, but with 4 Terramorphics only, I don't know. Also, it really seems to be lacking MD removal.
Perhaps:
-4 Geopede
-4 Raging Goblin
+4 Hellspark Elemental
+3 Path to Exile (from the side)
+1 Kor Skyfisher
So the downside to these changes are that they make Ancient Zig a little worse.
So maybe also
-1 Vampire Lacerator
+1 Plains
EDIT: Also I like the name.. really clever. I facepalmed when the other guy said to stick to the main colors.
Thanks for your comments.
@ groovyg,
I know that Ranger of Eos gives this deck a major boost, but I still want to try to use no rares. Also your point of Brave the Elements seems viable, but not all my creatures are not white. I will try to get my hands on about 3 rangers within the near future.
@aman2468
Yeah, I agree with you about using Journey to Nowhere. Going to find slots to MD these.
@Nidhogg
I like the suggestions you put forth, I might test these out before game time tomorrow night. Thanks for the compliment about the name. It took me 30 minutes to explain what an oros was to a friend in my play group. The funny thing about it was we played a lot of Planar Chaos together when it was legal.

Just wanted to say another good reason to MB the paths instead of siding them is you can even use them to trigger landfall on yourself for your steppe lynxs and geoepedes if you end up keeping him in. Also, the land count seems small to me.
I've played mono black vamps and jund. It did somewhat okay, but it still requires heavily on expensive cards like Elspeth and Baneslayer. So far, not bad, the black splash is only good for lacerator, I have to test blightning though, more updates later

2 Ranger of Eos (2 is MINIMUM I'd play, even on budget)
2 Kor Skyfisher
4 Adventuring gear
4 Steppe Lynx
4 Burst lightning
4 Lightning bolt
4 Plated Geopede
4 Path to Exile
3 Goblin Bushwhacker
3 Hellspark Elemental
4 Naya Panorama
3 Teetering Peaks
13 Basic Land
If you want to drop path go +2 Vanguard + 1 Hellspark + 1 Bushwhacker but I'd advise them since they can help your landfall and kill blockers
2 Ranger is hard to go lower than because you need the steam so badly.
Hope this helped, also keep to the main colours, there is more than enough stuff there
if he cant afford path then journey to nowhere seems fine.
journey or brave the elements, since brave doubles as anti-removal and alpha assistance for over half your critters

I'm toying with a black splash in the sideboard of competitive Bushwhacker, not sure yet.
