Hey row, I really appreciate the feedback. I did indeed notice the higher density of basics in his deck. Ports were nice early, but he always had the Rest in Peace as soon as he had two mana available. Them's the breaks, I guess.
I do run a full set of Dark Confidant in the board and you called it - they did some serious work in game 2. Bob almost did the full twenty, but I was forced to blow my Oblivion Stone to keep from being romped by a horde of Angel tokens, and before I could jam another one, he dropped a second RiP and a Helm of Obedience. (He was at 6! So close... )
I don't run Krosan Grip in my list, but I do have Abrupt Decay. Harder to cast thru a Moon (you need at least one Mox Diamond), but that should be good enough, right?
I ended up putting a Nassif twist on my deck and ran a single Pithing Needle as the 61st card (with Enlightened Tutors to dig it up), so I guess that's a plus.
Should I be cutting my Intuitions against Miracles? They're usually the first thing to go when I'm sideboarding, but there are enough do-nothing cards in my list against that matchup that I could keep them in if necessary...
Been tinkering around a bit with my list. Figured that 3 Manabonds were a bit too much but 2 still seems like too few. But it does free up a slot for Horizon Canopy just to save Loam from a graveyard nuke or a Surgical. Also going to cut Nantuko Monestary for the 4th Maze. I'm assuming that I'm only going to be attacking when I have complete control of the game with Waste, Ghost Quarter, Tabernacle, etc. So if my opponent won't scoop by then Treetop Village and Mishra's Factory should provide a 3-4 turn clock depending on how liberal I get with my 2 Groves.
Also thinking about renaming the deck "SipsCo Dirt Factory".

Except those two ports are worth a playset of foil Wastelands now. Foil ports just spiked and additional 100-150 dollars.
Also Fallen Angel - why do you run only 2 Groves and PFires? Do you not have a lot of creatures in your meta?
I need to check the foil prices more often. My list is a trial list as of now. A rough draft that after building I can tinker with and see what can come out and in to the deck. To be honest I have a tough time getting to play magic against people since I live far away from "local" Legacy card shops. I'm lucky to play once or twice a year so normally I goldfish myself with a deck for 3 weeks before I even think of playing against another deck. And as I goldfish i put myself in my opponent's position and try to hate out my deck and then fight through it. It is complicated the way I test decks but it does work for me.

I'd love to know how that's working for you! My main reason for running K-Grip is for Bloodmoon and Sneak Attack. Sneak Attack cannot be hit by K-Grip and even if it could they could respond, making it a bunk point.

You mean sneak attack can't be AD'ed?
I play grips for ease of casting and stuff like Omnicience, Sneak, Leyline of the Void, etc.
I do have two decays in my extra cards incase I change my mind though. I played them for a bit, but pre-punishing fire lists.

Ah yes, my mistake. I'd love to play AD, but I don't think it'd the best idea. Also, is the 61 slot for a Pithing Needle effective? I kind of like the idea.
Also weird question, but anyone else like resleeving their favorite deck? Gotta love that new feel.
I just sleeved Lands for the first time! I like them to get broken in a little (they're terribly slippery new). I used the same colour as my newly sleeved EDH Lands deck so I can share the Tabernacle.
I'm still tweaking the sideboard - I'll probably lose the Glacial Chasm and maybe the Manabond.
I took this deck untested (not even gold-fished) to a 36 player event yesterday. I ended up three and three:
Game 1 vs Helm Control - lost 0-2. This is a bad match vs a smart player who owns an entire gauntlet and lives and breathes Legacy.
Game 2 vs Jund - lost 0-2. Deathrite slowed me down and my top-decks were unfriendly. He one game two by saving Goyf from an EE wipe with a Golgari Charm he had forgotten to board out! I probably could have won if I'd had bit more experience with my deck
Game 3 vs Pox - won 2-0. He Surgicaled my Loam early game one, lucky I had a Crucible out and two Explorations. A resolved Lily ultimate actually filled my yard so that Barbarian Ring could finish her off! I won easily but many turns later. Game 2 saw a turn zero Leyline. I got it with EE, but not before losing many good cards to Smallpox and other effects. He scooped when I landed my Depths combo.
Game 4 vs Sneak Show - lost 2-1. I got stomped game one. Game two I had Ports out, a Karakas out, Loam engine going, and he scooped as I started Ghosting out his single land in play. Game three I must have been getting tired. I actually forgot to Port him at one point, giving him five mana to cast Sneak Attack through my Sphere. GB drew him fourteen cards and I lost to Blood Moon. Interestingly, I played Dark Depths with the Moon out and it got no counters. Had I drawn my K-Grip in time Depths would have triggered instantly! This loss was the nail in the coffin for any hopes at top eight.
Game 5 vs U/ Delver - won 2-1. I was a bit sloppy game one and could have won. It as amusing that I hit him with Marit Lage but he was at twenty two life (Grove gain) and killed me the next turn!
Game 6 vs Patriot Delver - won 2-0. Piece of cake.
I learned a lot about playing the deck and had a great time. I think I'll play much better at my next event and hence forth. Sadly my other decks might not be seeing much play from now on.
Edit - wonderful new primer, thanks for all the work and wisdom!

Just to note, I'm fairly certain that Depths still enters with 10 counters on it if a Blood Moon/Magus of the Moon/Celestial Dawn is on the battlefield. I'm pretty certain the ruling on these types of cards is that lands with ETB triggers will not work, but any replacement effects that change how the lands enter the battlefield will work. For instance Akoum Refuge enters the battlefield tapped, as that is a replacement effect to how it would otherwise enter, but you will not gain the one life.
As Dark Depths has a replacement effect and not a trigger, it enters as a Mountain with the ten ice counters.

Nice report!
Why did you decide on Cephalid Coliseum?
4 Punishing Fire also seems a bit heavy, but it may be needed in your meta.
That's a mistake - I run three Punishing Fires and one Intuition. I fixed the post, thanks for the catch.
The Coliseum (which I do run) is an extra blue source instead of a third Tropical Island. If I drop it, would I not need to replace it with another blue source (dual)? I like the ability to just rip extra cards to find an answer if I need one or a combo piece if I'm desperate. Maybe I'm just a sucker for utility lands? I almost activated it with a Loam engine going but no Explorations in hopes to draw into one. I can't quite remember how that game ended - six rounds of long games with a new deck is a bit hard on the my head sometimes (that's why my "report" lacks a lot of details).

Well if you're only running Tolaria West + 1 Intuition, two blue sources might work out for you since you can't fetch Coliseum anyways. You've also got 4 fetch and 4 mox, essentially 10 blue sources in the deck.
I might take out the midslaver wincon, the wincon just feels too slow and because I don't have much Card advantage, it's not too good
I'm keeping the black splash though. The splash is awesome

On a side note to this the Coliseum can be used to mill out your opponent by making them draw 3 cards a turn or if you have explorations and crucible it can be many more than three. That is if your opponent really has nothing your afraid of. Most people don't see this win condition coming.
