1. Bold your votes and unvotes please. Votes not in bold will not be counted. If you don’t post in regular black text, please post your votes in a different color (as well as bold) so I can see them.
2. Votes do not need to be unvoted to place a new vote, and I will assume any vote intends to remove its predecessor. Since this may not actually be your intention, I suggest you still unvote as normal.
3. You may vote No Lynch (wimps). A majority of these votes will end the day without a death.
4. A player dying during the day resets the vote count.
7. Do not talk about this game anywhere except in this thread or in the spectator QT (or, yes, over PM with me, wise guy).
8. If you anticipate being gone for more than 72 hours, please inform me here or via PM. If you fail to post within a 72 hour period, you’re prodded. If you’re prodded again, you will be replaced or modkilled.
9. To get my attention in-thread, please post “@ Xyre:” in bold (and in another color, if necessary) so I can find it.
10. DAY 1 IS DEADLINED FOR THREE WEEKS. SUBSEQUENT DAYS LAST TWO WEEKS. Extensions will be allowed only in extraordinary circumstances (e.g. website goes down, major holidays, mod gets hit by a bus) - so don’t count on getting one. If the deadline passes without a lynch, the day ends in No Lynch (wimps).
11. Nights will end as soon as all night choices are in. Night choices may be “preloaded” (submitted before night begins), and if all night choices are preloaded, there will be no night.
12. Don’t be a jerk. (Oh, and have fun, I guess.)
This is an open setup.
Ten players will receive the following:
Welcome to Iso’s Inflammable Mafia, [playername]! You are [playername], a Townie.
You have the following abilities:
* You are incredibly flammable.
You win when both Arsonists are dead.
One player will receive the following:
Welcome to Iso’s Inflammable Mafia, [playername]! You are Iso, an Arsonist.
You like long walks on the beach, dousing the beach with gasoline, and lighting the beach on fire.
You have the following abilities:
* Each night, you may send in the name of another player. That player will be doused in gasoline. (Send me your choice as quickly as possible, preferably during the previous day, to keep nights to a minimum length.)
* Once in the game, during the day, you may strike your match. All players doused in gasoline by either Arsonist will be killed instantly. You may not use this ability during twilight.
* You cannot be lit on fire.
You win if you and a townie are the last two surviving players, even if you’ve already used your match. If you and the other Arsonist are the last two surviving players, the game is a draw.
One player will receive the following:
Welcome to Iso’s Inflammable Mafia, [playername]! You are Seppel, an Arsonist.
When you met the love of your life, it was a match made in heaven. She really set your heart alight. There was so much heat between you two. And she looked so pretty on fire.
You have the following abilities:

Sending out PMs now. As soon as ten players have confirmed (via PM, please), I'll start Day.
Making an additional note here for all to see: this game will move as fast as I can make it go. Nights will be as short as possible (and may not even happen if I have actions preloaded). Deadlines will be short. I will be strict with prods.
(I will be adding a couple of days to the length of Day 1, however, provided we gets started before Dec. 23rd.)
Iso's prohibited from posting. The rest of you, go nuts.

More seriously, even though claiming is useless in an all-vanilla open set-up, I'd like to still practice the standard pause of execution at L-2. I thought it was odd that Nacho would vouch so strongly for Rodemy so early, based on dropping what appeared to be obviously forced town tells, but I can understand, I suppose. It's WIFOMy anyway. But the fact that right after Nacho says that what Rodemy did was extremely townie and no one should lynch him, Ged decides he should do the same thing. The difference in timing between the two posts makes me believe that Ged was more interested in squeezing himself into Nacho's town pile.
If you were one of the Arsonists, who would your top 3 dousing targets be and why?
I would choose Iso, Rascals, and Wheat because I don't know anyone here and they are admins/scary people with early join dates. If I had more experience with people's playstyles, I'd choose whoever I knew had the most experience with me and would be able to read me the best.

Oh, I remember: If you were an Arsonist, what Day would you strike your match on?
I worked it out that best case for one of the arsonists, we'd see a match lit no later than D4 and worst case, no later than D6. I think it's more likely they will get antsy and strike it D3.
Which actually leads me to something interesting I was thinking about when I did this. Trying to figure out motivation in this setup is rather different than a standard mafia game. One arsonist isn't just trying to get townies lynched; he's also trying to find the other arsonist, and in that respect his motivation may be more masked than usual. The only difference is motivation to survive.
(OOC: I hope it's not a big deal on this board that I snipped the irrelevant parts of some quotes?)
I didn't. I'm first on the player list. Like I said, I like the odds.
I'm myself by the way. That's my role name.
Archmage is confirmed town for being the first person to state that his role name is himself (as is mine) so I can only assume all townies are themselves.
Unvote; Vote: Archmage for masterfully avoiding the RVS wagon.
I'm not Iso, by the way.
Kazekirimaru doesn't know that all townies are themselves, so he votes Archmage without realizing Archmage townslipped super hard (because Kazekirimaru CAN'T realize that since his role pm doesn't say "You are Kazekirimaru").
Unvote since Kaze responded well to the exceedingly high pressure but I'm not willing to run up Ged (since his tactic I feel was legitimate) and no one else seems especially fond of fire.
If you were one of the Arsonists, who would your top 3 dousing targets be and why?
My targets would be
1. The towniest.
2. The second towniest.
3. The third towniest.
Having a doused target be lynched is something that arsonists want to avoid. Of course I'm thinking about this from a standpoint of arsonists burning everything at once.
But then there's the other standpoint of trying to win: I need only to kill the other arsonist to turn this into a game of mafia in which I am scum without an NK. In that case, my targets are
1. The most fire-loving player
2. The player with the second greatest affiliation to the Fire Nation
3. (If at this point I know I've doused the other arsonist, then town, otherwise more fire-breathers)
(and also if the arsonist ever gets lynched then I douse away the towniest again)
You'll note I don't actually choose names. That's because I'm just good enough that if I kill off all the power players my name will come up as scum if I'm the top power player, but just bad enough that if I kill all the weaker players, I'll probably get found out by the power players. Therefore if I was the arsonist I wouldn't go by names in an effort to seem more random.
Ged, Nacho, and Wheat are my choices. Ged and Nacho because they're pretty good players, and Wheat because he'd seek my death out before the end of the game no matter what.
Well, I mean, you're confirmed scum. The OP even says so. (/s)
Oh, I remember: If you were an Arsonist, what Day would you strike your match on?
Depends.
I know other arsonist but think he won't figure me out: Day 3 (since I'm third in line on so many lists, and need to burn him dead before I burn myself by accident)
I know the other arsonist and think he's going to figure out me: ASAP.
I don't know the other arsonist: I have no idea what I would do. Trust my gut.
The other arsonist is already lynched: Whenever all but one town is doused by me personally. Probably by Day 6 or 7.
If you were one of the Arsonists, who would your top 3 dousing targets be and why?
Ged, Nacho, and Wheat are my choices. Ged and Nacho because they're pretty good players, and Wheat because he'd seek my death out before the end of the game no matter what.

Umm.. i'd dose You AE and Karn.... cause i have played with you before?

I'm pretty sure you, Archmage and Wheaties are town. Each of you have had pretty clear townslips. Archmage's role name comment, Wheat's assumption that one arsonist can douse and light afire the other arsonist (according OP, they are fireproof), and your assumption that arsonists get multiple matches (they get one each).
This actually makes Nacho's statement about you even more suspicious. I like Sir Karn's analysis of Kaze's reaction, but I don't think it's as damning as he does. I agree with you that Sir Karn's post does not clear him, given his interjection, as well as the fact that narrowing the lynch pool works in one arsonist's favor as much as town's until one of them is lynched.
So far I've got you three as town, and at least one arsonist in {Nacho, Ged, Kaze}. I originally had Sir Karn as leaning town but I like your observation on his post, and it brought up a few other thoughts about him for me (noted in my second paragraph here).

And I told you after that game was done I told you about how I do that as town as well and the "catch" you thought you had was not a catch at all and was entirely different from the other situation that I said you shouldn't just say "I'm town" in. Perhaps you forgot that conversation. I'm pretty sure it was in the quicktopic for spec chat if you want to go reread it.
And how am I suppose to say "well since AE said his role PM is himself that means he's town" if I don't know that's already true?

Uhh
It says townies are themselves in the sample role PM. Derp.
You know what I'm starting to think? There aren't actually townslips in this game because all the info was available in the OP. I don't trust the townslips being made because the arsonists could just have easily failed to read their role PMs for the specifics (If I was an arsonist I probably still would have missed that I was fireproof, because I already thought I knew the arsonist role).

Wheat, I think it's fine to take slips with a grain of salt but it's a mistake to ignore them completely.
I didn't like Nacho's immediate defense of Rodemy despite there being zero pressure on him at the time. I just don't see a town reason to do that, but I can think of plenty scum reasons to do so.

Reasons Kaze is an Arsonist:
1. He claimed Iso. (Though an arguably weak point, the following point is absolutely damning)
2.
Archmage is confirmed town for being the first person to state that his role name is himself (as is mine) so I can only assume all townies are themselves.
Kazekirimaru doesn't know that all townies are themselves, so he votes Archmage without realizing Archmage townslipped super hard (because Kazekirimaru CAN'T realize that since his role pm doesn't say "You are Kazekirimaru").

Well, I mean, you're confirmed scum. The OP even says so. (/s)
@Kaze Explain why you think AE masterfully avoided the wagon.
AM NOT!!
Umm.. i'd dose You AE and Karn.... cause i have played with you before?
Strike the match.... every 3rd day.
or right before i get lynched.
But 4srsplz: Y u vote me?
I am keeping my vote on Kaze.
I am inclined to disagree because of this post
This seems rather forced and it is this kind of posting i have seen from scum!Karn before.
FOS Sir Karn
Because it was established before you said that Here
Also, funny how you voted Kaze for being Iso... and not because he claimed someone other than himself.
I'd douse you thrice for good measure.
(probably you, Wheat, and...idk. Someone else. All the people I think are probably better than me. :P)
Uhh
It says townies are themselves in the sample role PM. Derp.
He was the first one who didn't vote me with his first post.

Scum is Archmage and Ged and one other.
Rodemy seems pretty town; he's not putting much thought into how he looks I feel.
What do you think of my assertion that townslips don't actually exist in this game?
Why Nacho? I know you mentioned earlier but I don't understand why you believe him to be scum; please explain it to me again.
What do you think about him voting you anyway?
There are only two scum. Why do you say 3?
Again... in the win condition..
when BOTH arsonists are dead..
Dude ,can we lynch it yet?
I mean, I think I am doing decent so far.
I didn't like Nacho's immediate defense of Rodemy despite there being zero pressure on him at the time. I just don't see a town reason to do that, but I can think of plenty scum reasons to do so.
He jumped my wagon after Rodemy told him to. What should I think?
Forgot.
Well, cool. I found them all!
