All depends on what deck you're playing. Supreme Verdict, Terminus, and Zealous Persecution all work from UWx control lists. Golgari Charm is a good answer from BG decks, as is Toxic Deluge. Any edict effect is also good, but situational.
By default, a 6 Mana answer is not the "best" answer
It's better to find efficient answers, that's why deed is rarely played, even amongst the rise the BGx control shell. 4 mana could get your Damnation. 3 Mana could get your engineered plague and leave your threats unmolested.
I guess 'Splosives is RUG's only one-card answer to the guy. You do NOT want to be playing Meekstone with Tarmogoyf.

Ignore it and kill them works best. Seriously, it's just a 3/1.
It'll only be a 3/1 if your opponent is terrible and played zero lords before they reached 3 mana. Highly unlikely. More often than not, you're at least staring down a 4/2 or 5/3.

...That, or your opponent is just playing UR Snapcaster/UW Stoneblade.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
Has protection rules changed recently? Because if you look True-Name Nemesis carefully you will see this;
True-Name Nemesis has protection from the chosen player. (This creature can't be blocked, targeted, dealt damage, or enchanted by anything controlled by that player.)
If this is writen that way only because "prevent all damage from the source ~ has protection to" is too long phrase to include I find it very misleading. Denying damage preventation is one of the rare ways to destroy cards with 'protection' (along with sweepers and edict effects). I can only imagine how much 'Judge!' shouts this causes in bigger tournaments when people are using Skullcrack to get rid of blocking Nemesis etc.

Are you implying that the difference in wording means different things? If so, how, because I'm ignorant.
Reprints the one card that people point to when saying that art objectifies women.
Well done Wizards.
Liliana does not objectify women in any way at all. We have gotten to a point in our society that every single picture of a women must be objectifying a women in some negative way......blah blah blah.. That is not the case. (((Sarcasm)))Picture of a girl drinking a milk shake, must be sex related and putting women down, picture of girl sitting on a beach, picture of a girl driving a car, picture of a girl on the moon at a new space station.)))
You have a picture of an attractive strong power women who girls dress up as for anime conventions. What more do you want? The picture is fine, happy to see a reprint. Sick of of seeing people claim that everything in existence must be putting women down. Then all I have to do is replace the word "women" with anything else to get the same mentality; fish, cats, arabs, blacks, jews, men, environment, whites, chinese, old people, etc. It doesn't matter what word I put in. Stop sucking life out of everything man. That artwork of her is awesome. Stop putting stuff down man. Just stop. If the picture was really as negative as you claim she would totally nude, in a kitchen, making sandwiches and giving blow jobs. Her abilities would be horrible as well. +1 do nothing -2 do nothing -6 do nothing. Instead liliana of the veil is an amazing planeswalker comparable to jace, the mind sculpter with great art to appreciate.
My suggestion listen to some comedy radio for a while, pandora is free, youtube is free there is something out there for you. ***** go make fun of somebody. The whole world is so serious and campaigning for some cause, or someones rights, everything is a hate crime, racist, sexist. blah blah blah.
"O no mcdonalds must be slandering a hate crime against skinny people every time they make a big mac." hahaha jeeze You're just someone perpetuating another groups negative perspective that they've made you believe is correct. Look at the picture for a hour and tell me what's wrong with it? I don't see anything.

dealt damage implies that there is no damage that has to be prevented.
Thus if I play Skullcrack and the True-Name Nemesis then blocks one of my creatures it will still live. Because it can't be dealt damage, regardless of Skullcrack saying damage can not be prevented.
Oh, ok. I think I'm starting to get it.
How has it read before? Protection = can't be targeted, can't be enchanted, can't be blocked, and prevent damage from specified source?
Edit: I think I found my answer:
"Protection from everything" means the following: Progenitus can't be blocked, Progenitus can't be enchanted or equipped, Progenitus can't be the target of spells or abilities, and all damage that would be dealt to Progenitus is prevented.

10/4/2004: You choose the spell to target on announcement, but you pick the new target for that spell on resolution.
Since TNN is protected from a Player(you), That player (you) cannot target it.
Read your own ruling. You pick a new target for the spell on resolution. If it was you targeting it, you would have to target it as part of announcement. You simply choose what their spell will target as Misdirection resolves. You can indeed Misdirect a removal spell to Nemesis or Geist, since the only thing that ends up targeting them is a spell that their controller controls.

I'd agree with Wildfire393. Misdirection is not worded like Commandeer (which actually lets you gain control of their spell). Since they still control the Misdirected removal spell, you can have it target their Nemesis.
I went though this at an event, and the Judge ruled the other way. If it were up to me, I would prefer that misdirection worked.
We need a real judge on this one to clear it up.
Then the judge messed up. Misdirection doesn't make it so you gain control of the spell. It changes a spell's target. If it is legal for an opponent to target the creature, then it's legal for you to misdirect, swerve or whatever it into their own thing.
Commandeer, however...

Humility still works.
Also note that while Skullcrack will prevent the damage prevention clause from TNN's protection; it can't directly target the fishy.

Yes, so "dealt damage" = "prevent all damage from sources of X"
You can also use Misdirection on an opponent's Bolt/Swords/Path/Decay to target TNN.
