1) "Islandwalk" is italic and should not be
2) Islandwalk's reminder text is now worded "can't be blocked" instead of "is unblockable"
3) Islandwalk cards in non-core sets don't have reminder text
4) Monstrosity is always listed as "<Cost>: Monstrosity N", and always puts N counters on the creature
5) Monstrosity's triggers are separate abilities, not part of the same ability.
6) The check against monstrosity is not that there are no counters (or in this case, tokens) present, but rather that the creature is not currently monstrous.
7) The tokens are put "into play" and not "onto the battlefield"
8) The tokens have "island walk" when they should have "islandwalk"
9) "Cresses, the World Drinker returns..." Creatures can't take actions.
10) "Target permanents equal to" - This should be "X target permanents, where X is"
11) The number of permanents bounced should just be able to be "X" here. As worded, it would count himself if you managed to pay for himself and go monstrous in the same turn, and it would also eliminate the ability to bounce if anything modified their power/toughness.
12) "Put into play this turn" should be "that entered the battlefield this turn" if you were even going to word it that way
13) "only if there are no... in play" should be "on the battlefield", again if it would even be worded that way.
So yeah.

Kudos to the "There Will Be Blood" reference. Probably face but I dunno, so many people have been wrong about stuff like this it's hard to go whole hog on claiming whether or not this is real.
Not sure if the person who made this card was trying to fool anyone, but if they were, they should've at least bothered to learn some basics about Magic templating...

It was fake as soon as you read "blue Krakens with Island Walk". Islandwalk is one work, look at his first line of text.
After that, it says to return permanents equal to yadayada. A- It just says return, it should say return to hand. (Of course in the correct syntax. B- It would say equal to the number of tokens put into play, not the number of 5/7 krakens with...
There are more errors, but really it isn't even necessary at this point. Im sure the last 3 pages detailed it.

If your deck is 60 cards then you're playing with the best possible odds. 61? Probably won't alter your odds too much but we all know that 96% pure meth won't cut it next to Heisenberg's 99%.
Most definitely.
The remaining ones are the World-Snorter (W), the World-Felcher (B), and the World-up-its-urethra guy (R).
YOU WIN THIS THREAD. Seriously, everyone else can go now.
This card is fake, but I do like the idea of yelling "release the kraken(s)!" and then dropping a bunch of 5/7s onto the battlefield. We already have the blue rare monster though, and I really doubt we're getting two (especially if they're both sea creatures).
This is a great game seeing how many people can call it fake.
And some of them have to prove its more fake than the previous person.
Because no matter how many times you look at it, you keep finding more things that make this one of the worst fakes in a while.

Or indeed, "return X ... etc.", since X is the number of tokens. (and the number of times when the number of tokens and the value of X differ will be in this case... never? (The only case I can think of is if something says 'creature tokens cannot enter the battlefield'))
This card is the fakest fake i have ever seen faked.
Polyplatypus, world eater
then a World DRINKER? formatted really poorly and hiding anything important in the card like artists # and rarity.
fake
I like how it combos with all of the other cards that put 5/7 blue Kraken tokens into play.
The subtle differences between Islandwalk and Island Walk are not to be underestimated

It surprises me that people don't even really try when making up cards.
And some of them have to prove its more fake than the previous person.
I love MTGSal forums...
I do wish this was real though - only for EDH purposes.
