Every single shop from my country (italy) seems is selling all their Damnations underpriced. Maybe they know something i don't know? Or i'm just paranoid?
A reprint in Theros of a black sweeper after the not-so appreciate Mutilate would be very nice.

Damnation is still alive in Name and Number crunch. I'm hoping it will be reprinted because it was suspiciously absent from Modern Masters and being a high profile card.
Momir Vig, Simic Visionary
Melek, Izzet Paragon
Oona, Queen of the Fae
Bruna, Light of Alabaster
Gisela, Blade of Goldnight
Rhys the Redeemed
Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord
Sen Triplets
The Mimeoplasm WUBRGSliver OverlordGRBUW WUBRGSliver Hivelord(Superfriends)GRBUW
A dual reprint of both Wrath of God (stylized to fit Heliod) and Damnation (to fit Erebos) in Born of the Gods or Journey into Nyx would be awesome (I don't see it happening in Theros).
Of course, this will never happen, because things that are sensical (see: reprinting Lightning Bolt in a Greek-themed block) are not things that happen in Magic.
It would most likely be a black functional reprint similar to Day of Judgment, as they want to keep regeneration relevant. That being said, I would love to see Mutilate again.
Doubtful, as Maro's hint wasn't "two cards that could have been in Modern Masters,"
and we already have Thoughtseize.
Also Magma Jet "could have been in MM" and it's reprinted. I think that his words were just an hint to the Thoughtseize reprint which was quite awaited and predictable (see Mutavault reprint).

removal is so bad and creatures are so good. hope we get something like this soon...
That's actually on purpose. Since removal was so good and creatures were so bad for about 15 years. They are trying to balance it out now.
And you can't have regeneration be relevant if you've only printed 2 good cards with it since 2010 and made it expensive on all the other cards it appears on.
I don't get why they would neglect to give black a sweeper. They already get the best removal. Why should that be limited to single target? They have sweepers, albeit conditional, but still board wipes. I want Damnation (or functional reprint) in every core set from now on, along with Day. Make it BBBB for all I care in a functional reprint, just allow Mono Black the resources to exist and not be dependent on other colors to exist.
I believe Wizards has gone on record in saying they don't like the "Can't be regenerated" clause on mass removal, which is why we haven't seen Wrath of God in quite some time.
Perhaps maybe we'll get some form of Day of Judgment style card for black? I could see it at 1BBB or something, or maybe have some form of downside or condition. It would be nice though to see black not being reliant on other colors for the first time in a long time, although I'd still probably run more color(s) anyway.
Why? Can you elaborate this?
Damnation has old roots in magic, see Plague Wind for example.

Plague wind costs 9. The only reason damnation was printed was because it was colorshifted in an alternate reality set. I think rosewater also commented that he regretted printing it somewhat but my memory is hazy.
The bottom line? Black is already king of pinpoint removal and shoukd have to pay a little extra or get a conditional mass board wipe; which is white's forte. Ancestral recall has old old roots in magic, should it be reprinted?

MaRo said on his podcast that he is completely fine with black having a DoJ type spell.
i actualy would like damnation, since i kinda would like to play somekind of mono black control.
but i doubt we will see it in a set which has already thoughtseize. mb in one of the other sets, since i dont think they will reprint 2 black staples in 1 set.

Obviously Ancestral recall is the most powerful card in magic, but they stop printing card draw in blue?
If your concern is about efficiency of mass removal in black (which seems from your second post, not from the first) i may agree with your point, if you are against the concept itself of mass removal in black i strongly disagree, and cards like mutilate, life's finale, black sun zenith etc. want a word with you.

Maybe a colorshifted Day, though.

It's a never ending cycle. tarmogoyf, dark confident, shock lands, thoughtseize, and now damnation and zendikar fetches. Once those are printed it will change again.

Damnation is perfectly fine in any environment in which Mutilate is perfectly fine.
---
Numquam evolutioni obstes. Solum conculceris.
Pascite draconem, evolvite aut morimini.
Exactly that; "sufficiently large".
Damnation is better than Mutilate by a wide margin because it doesn't force you to go mono or nearly mono black.
