According to this thread aggro makes up the largest percentage of played decks. The top placing decks however are control, but the top 8 results are usually split 50/50 with the top 1-2 being control (Grixis, esper, or u/w) and 3-4 being aggro(g/w, r/x, or g/b).
Yes, that's MTGO, many people don't have the tix, or/and try to go infinite with cheap decks, tipically aggro, hence the high percentage of cheap red blitz deck, since despite the fact that they're weaker than Grixis and Esper, they still can hope to get lucky and earn tix over time. It's a common thing in block constructed on MTGO, hence the relative irrelevance of those percentages. Looking at the best decks is more relevant tough of course if you remove the excessive presence of aggro, balance and metagame could change.. anyway if you played those top decks or watched them getting played you wouldn't get the feeling that aggro is on par or just a little behind in RtR block imho.
So how you explain an aggro deck winning the PT and an aggro deck finishing 2nd at the PT?
Also how sad are we about the card that could have been in modern masters being magma jet?

implying we will *know* which reprint was "the one" (something expensive like Thoughtseize).

That sucks, I know they don't want things like Path to Exile and Swords to Plowshares in white anymore (Gee thanks :rolleyes:) and now give white things like celestial flare and righteous blow... sigh, doing a Journey to Nowhere functional reprint would be fine, instead of a gimmick card
Journey you can play if you play white, this it seems requires at least 2 colours (Yeah I know, shock lands) to be playable, so its not at least on par with JtN, it would be nice if the missing text simply read 'land'.

Unfortunately the information we're getting is equally messy (and from a lot of different sources), and having three people all updating the OP at once doesn't help much. When we have managed to sort out exactly what is what, it will get a grand tidy up.
There was a post here from Trollcreature at 7:59 AM (Continental Europe time) where he gave the P/T of the sphinx and wrote something like "Seizing thoughts" is 100%. I can't remember the P/T now dammit.
Now it is gone. Was it deleted by a mod as being fake? Did anyone else manage to see it before it disappeared? I returned now expecting to see a bunch of comments on this post, but alas!

So I just checked on here, and in the spoilers it has Thoughtseize. I checked the first page of this thread again and I'm still not sure what to make of it. All I'm getting is that it's supposedly in the block, but the middle set.
So is Thoughtseize confirmed then? Is there a definite source?
