It's a brilliant idea. Now those of us who are really bothered by brag threads can easily ignore them, and any that sneak out can be dumped back into this perma-thread.
Signalling is like farting: it's a natural thing that helps people avoid being where you are, and if you try to do it deliberately, things turn to crap fast.

I hereby found the American Chapter of the Zealots of Semantics. All glory to The Curmudgeon.
I have a beautiful girlfriend that begs me to play video games with her. (Don't worry, I comply. She has me trying to keep up with her on FFXIV ARR right now.)
My helpy helpdesk of helpfulness.
My Decks: EDH: Sygg, River Cutthroat , Road to Scion
Grimgrin, Corpseborn Modern: Polytokes IRL: Progenitus Polymorph , Goblins
(I completely missed this reply until now.)
Ok. This is just a random one I had on my phone from when we were demonstrating how funny it looked with her dog in her purse.
I know this isn't the purpose of this thread, but this is the second time recently that I've seen someone post their record in sanctioned events. Is there an easy way to find this? I looked through everything on my Planeswalker Points page and couldn't figure out a way to do it without going through every singe event and totaling up my results.
I will come back to brag later. I feel a great draft deck coming very soon in my Theros future.
Thanks Sene, that's so cool. It's really interesting seeing how I've done against my frequent FNM opponents. Wild.
The way I will choose to think about my record is that if I was a Major League Baseball team, I would have had the best record in the league this year. Yeah, that sounds like bragging!
Fun times. Also, I've only gone to one Grand Prix and I went 1-3-1, so not much to brag about there. Hopefully I can get to a few more this summer and make some noise!
(I completely missed this reply until now.)
Ok. This is just a random one I had on my phone from when we were demonstrating how funny it looked with her dog in her purse.
Easily the most fun I've ever had playing draft. Every bestow creature, Wingsteed Rider, and Divine Verdict were all stars, giving me plenty of time and board presence to win through Marauder, Merchant, and Rider.
So apparently red-black minotaurs is good in Theros. Not being used to the format I was under the impression that this deck sucked, until I went 3-0-1 with it (drew round 4 so we could all get home earlier and came in second). ~19 people were there.
Either that or its the case of aggro winning until people get used to it
And the only sideboard card of relevance: Dark Betrayal, which sided in every match in place of Sip. Everyone I played was running at least some black.
I was under the impression that this deck sucked, until I went 3-0-1 with it
Remember that this is not by any means proof that the deck is good. I'm not saying it isn't, but winning a draft doesn't tell you much. Consistent results over long time, on the other hand, does. A sizable sample is important.
Only regret was that I maybe should have cut the Bow, because I drew it three times and could only play it once. Double green (more like triple if I want to play and activate on turn 5) is tough in this deck. But really there are no regrets because I won, and this is where I brag about that, right? Woot.

Ah. I meant I thought the deck I had pulled together that draft sucked. And round 1 it did, but through a lot of stupid luck it pulled through and then ran better the next two rounds.
I didn't mean B/R aggro/minotaurs sucks. That, of course, is up in the air yet.
Last night on MTGO, I drafted a UW heroic deck. M1G1, I draw only plains. After loss, I find out my 8 islands are the last 10 cards in the deck. M1G2, I mull to 6 and keep a 3 island hand with 3 blue spells. 9 Plains are sitting around in the last 14 in the deck.
I played a game yesterday in which I resolved 5 copies of Griptide with the help of Meletis Charlatan and Mnemonic Wall (I only actually had two Griptides in the deck). Yeah I won that draft.
Opposite of this, I find myself unable to win anything due to either not drawing lands or my opponents having draws that are unbeatable with basically any limited deck.
I'm currently on a 8-match straight losing streak due to either not drawing lands or my opponents having incredible, unbeatable lucksack draws. MTGO is just a waste of money and tickets this point. Join tournament, 0-2 drop with no chance, join tournament, 0-2 drop with no chance, repeat. Here's the last six I can remember:
Opp1: Stall on two lands in two games, never see third land.
Opp2: Keep two land hand on draw, never get another land. Win game 2. Game 3 lose to T2 Battlewise Hoplite T3 enchantment + Gods Willing.
Opp3: Turn 2 Satyr Hedonist, Turn 4 Elspeth both games. Yes, he naturally drew those two cards plus 2x plains/forest/mountain both times.
Opp4: Mulligan to oblivion and concede both games (5 cards no lands)
Opp5: Turn 1 Favored hoplite, Turn 2 Ordeal of Heliod, turn 3 pump spell + Gods Willing both games.
Opp6: T2 Fleecemane Lion, T3 Feral Invocation both games.
Seriously, screw this format and all limited formats with bad removal. I want the old formats back where you didn't play auras, not these new ones where putting an aura on something = autowin the game except for like one possible out.
Edit: ****, that's it, I gave it one more chance and nope, nine completely unwinnable matches in a row regardless of my skill or deck building ability because it will never give me lands or hands my opponents unbeatable draws. Sick of losing game after game to 6/6/6 manabases that draw perfect while I run 19,20,21 lands and can't get more than two.
Password changed to random gibberish, billing address changed to something random, security question made unanswerable, email changed to random crap. Credit card used to open is old and closed long ago, probably not even on credit report anymore. Made sure I can never get back in. **** this absurd rage-inducing money pit, never again. I'll play a game that actually makes winning possible.
Granted, it means absolutely jack squat, and it happened thanks to getting the dreaded runner-up finish in an 11-round, 819 player PTQ, but it's fun to see it up there nonetheless.

Well deserved, I think. In fact ideally all players who are better than me should have 1900+ ratings to make me feel better about my own standard of play.

Horizon Chimera has such nice synergy with bident of thassa (racing while drawing cards and gaining life).
It also has nice synergy with Bow of Nylea (deathtouch and trample).
Not so much synergy with Spear of Heliod though... but who needs that with triple weapon on board.
Mother of God... 3 different weapons? I'd have flipped my keyboard in disgust.

Power abuse?
E: Nice rares, I guess. I presume the Hive Stirrings were actually pretty important? Also, no Visionaries were available?
It's been discussed. It was almost a subform. Bragcaps.
I didn't see any Mystics. And yeah Stirrings were clutch. Got all the stupid Sliver cards p3 after the Angel.

My history playing sanctioned MtG:
Overall record: 933-313-74 Win percentage ignoring draws: 74.879615 Win percentage including draws: 70.681818
Am I doing it right?
*Actually, I'm incredibly self deprecating and skeptical of most successes I have.
