I think you're half right. I'd be willing to bet at this point that it's a Sir Karn/Arian scum team. Pegging the enchantress out of Rhand or TMCT will be harder. Unless it's Tom. That would be helpful.
@Stardust: Why do you say you "figured" I had a shot? Why would falseclaim cop hoping to not get vigged when that could make the real cop out himself while CC'ing you?
Asenion could've been the N1 NK, and his role had him killing his killer in retaliation. It is a very plausible explanation for the "lack of NK" on N1.
Don't worry, my role PM indicates I'm a little girl. I'm sure it will cover my whole body up, otherwise most smart people will promptly understand how facts so widely regarded as facts aren't necessarily so in the beautiful Kingdom of Formonune
All of this is why I thought (and still think?) you were given a shot instead of a vest. I was your lead suspect and wanted to make sure you didn't make the mistake of trying to kill me. I had my own chance to be bulletproof, but wanted the mafia to waste their shot instead of having you waste yours. Maybe the enchantress wasted hers, I'm not sure.
I wasn't too concerned with a CC. It was twilight when I claimed so there was no reason to CC at that point. Starting toDay, I did take a bit of a gamble on the fact that a full cop is not going to exist in a game like this. Maybe that's debatable, but I figured if there was a fully functional investigative role, it wouldn't be a cop in a role madness game.
The benefit of this was hiding the fact that I'm actually closer to a protective role, hoping Silver or Sir Karn would slip up if false claiming. That's the reason I asked for their claims specifically. If we decided to continuing mass claiming into Rhand or TMCT, I would have come out at that point.
So, all that said, Kosa, did you or did you not have anything to do with either of the deaths last night?
Stardust, on a scale of 1 to 10, how important is it that you be alive Tomorrow?
Not very, I suppose. My ability tonight will fire regardless. It would be good for me to help interpret the results of that ability, but not strictly necessary.
Asenion could've been the N1 NK, and his role had him killing his killer in retaliation. It is a very plausible explanation for the "lack of NK" on N1.
Maybe. But I don't think so.
1) Guardman's death had no indication that it had anything to do with a ghost hunter and plenty of indication that it was the enchantress.
2) Why would the mafia kill Asenion? He's not a strong player and was about as far as you can get from being behaviourally confirmed.
TMCT, does your ability have any effect at this point? You're talking like there are no protective roles left, which has me scratching my head.
TMCT was lying about his claim. How many times do I have to point that it?
It still doesn't matter. It's never really mattered. Town players are allowed to lie about their roles, too, if they believe it will benefit the town. I WILL grant you that the way TMCT lied while under a lot of pressure reflects poorly, but I think that he's made up for it since.
He also said he stopped the mafia kill Night 1, which I'm inclined to believe.
We've gone back and forth and back and forth about this, and I'm inclined to say that the incessant flavor-gaming is going to be our downfall this game. We're frankly not going to know what exactly happened N1 unless TMCT wants to claim what he did that supposedly messed up the NK. Even then, there's no guarantee that that will actually answer the question, because we still don't actually know what Asenion's role even did (or Guardman's, although I'd bet he was a roleblocker of some variety based on Ataghan, since Caex's "ice maiden" role was a roleblocker there).
This question can only be progressed if TMCT chooses, and I believe that the information would only harm us toDay. Tomorrow, sure, claim it -- we'll need all the information we can get Tomorrow to make a wise choice.
-----------
This whole "Kosa was given a gun by Void and then shot Void" theory seems absolutely insane to me. Why would Kosa do that, especially when Void was very strongly town and has been all game? I mean, I guess that feeds into the Kosa-as-Enchantress thought (removing the guy who could Vest more people and make the SK less able to win), but that just circles back around to bastardry.
-----------
Karn obviously isn't going to claim, because he's done everything except actually come out and claim scum. As Stardust pointed out, he claimed everything that he's willing to claim toDay, which I support. We have at least one more Night phase to get through, and holding back some information is perfectly wise.
My role is Talren, Gnomish Mindslaver. My ability was a one-shot which allowed me to convert target (living) player into a mental zombie, replacing any abilities that they have with a Mason chat.

My role is Talren, Gnomish Mindslaver. My ability was a one-shot which allowed me to convert target (living) player into a mental zombie, replacing any abilities that they have with a Mason chat.
Who did you target and why did it fail?
I targeted Guardman, because I was unconvinced of his towniness after Day 1 (the first Mafia game that I had read along with was Magical Girl, which was the basis I used to evaluate based on meta). My thought process on using the ability is that I wanted to select someone who was a veteran player, but whom I was also unsure of their alignment. Due to the ability-losing clause on the ability, I didn't want to target someone who was likely to be town (for example, Void). I figured that worst case, Guardman was town and I neutered his ability, but gaining a mason with an experienced player would be worth the risk. Best case, Guardman would in fact be anti-town, and I would have removed a threat to the town until such time as we got around to lynching him....effectively prisoning him out of the game.
I was only notified that the ability failed. No more specifics were given. My guess is that the kill resolved before my ability somehow, or else whatever mess happened surrounding Guardman and Asenion that Night somehow overflowed to me. I was kind of expecting the ability to resolve and just be meaningless when I saw that Guardman had died overNight, but I dunno. For all I know, Iso decided to just be lazy and not bother to create the QT for the ability since Guardman was dead and the ability meaningless anyway.
Karn obviously isn't going to claim, because he's done everything except actually come out and claim scum. As Stardust pointed out, he claimed everything that he's willing to claim toDay, which I support. We have at least one more Night phase to get through, and holding back some information is perfectly wise.
Stardust holding back information is perfectly wise, but me holding back information is scummy. Talk about double standards.
Stardust is holding a single information pertinent to his role. While I don't like it (especially since he has stated that his skill will go through regardless, so I can't see why not just claim it anyway), you're being cryptic about your role and flat-out refusing to claim.
Also you said you would claim after Stardust answered your questions. Didn't he? So why aren't you claiming yet?
So you've used two information roles and are now on the chopping block, and you haven't shared the information you got with the town? Even in your claim? Yeah, you're scum. And you're probably not the Enchantress either, so Enchantress, shoot away.
Also...
Stardust: 1-shot cop (unconfirmed), 1-shot untargetable (unconfirmed, but solves the discrepancy of last Night's flavor), 1-shot ?
Sir Karn: 1-shot rolecop, 1-shot watch, 1-shot "something akin to bulletproof perhaps" (all unconfirmed)
I don't like that Stardust overlaps with Wheat, but Karn's is definitely mafia-er.
So, all that said, Kosa, did you or did you not have anything to do with either of the deaths last night?
Repeating this because you have been constantly avoiding this question from me, Kosa, and now from Stardust as well.
There's something that you just don't get it: I don't have the slightest obligation to answer this given that I have a strong scum read on you.
Anyway, this is something that I planned to disclose only in case someone got cornered and claimed to have shot Void/stopped a "possible Enchantress kill" or after the game, but as Iso screwed me over in the flavor and there are so many people possibly confused about this plus there's the impending lynch so maybe it's better if I say it now: yes, I killed Void with the shot he gave me.
I did it because, in my PoV, Void was behaviorally the scummiest player alive who had already claimed. Only two things spoke in his favor: his townslip statement about the flavor (which wasn't quite bread-and-butter) and his role, which wasn't, in my PoV, a reason good enough to clear him, because Iso is the kind of person clever enough to put a scum/SK role that grants vigshots to townies so the innocent and naive can do the dirty job for them instead. This is especially true because those players would almost never think about shooting the one giving them the "benefits".
YesterDay, I was hellbent on shooting Tom so we could either nail a scum overnight/avoid an easy townie mislynch, but Void's continuous not-so-discrete references at me having a vigshot, attempts at directing me and a totally unnecessary naked hammer just after Sir Karn replaced in made me seriously believe that I was being manipulated by scumVoid, who wanted the Day to end faster so he could plan things overNight with his "new" scumbuddy (I had the suspicion that Void and SB were scumbuddies since SB's reaction to Void's and mine wagon). Worst of all, I feared scumVoid would simply NK me, knowing that I actually didn't have a bulletproof vest, and get away with it playing dumb as in "omg so the scum must have an unstoppable kill" etc.
So for that wrong read, I'm sorry Void and I'm sorry Town. Please don't be mad at me, I swear to you all I had the best intentions

3. repeatedly casting a veil of suspicion on the confirmed townie, of all people. You're most interested in deprecating a mod-confirmed blue than in actually search for scum.
Signs point to you killing Void. Void was shown town after confirming his role by giving you a Vest. If you are really town and killed Void, that's just dumb. It makes more sense that you're not-town and killed Void.
Looks like Kosa was just dumb. He repeatedly dodged it in order to make me look scummy for thinking it was him. Then it turns out it was him.
@Karn: You answered my question about you waiting to vote me while looking at time. I'm asking why you didn't do it earlier in your earlier posts today. Why did you wait until after Arian's vote?
After 1259 I really doubt TMCT is scum. He is probably either town or the enchantress. 1282 looks like fishing.
If Karn is telling the truth about Seppel's ability, I'm surprised Seppel did not use it on the Day 1 lynch, that he was against.
Another thing I noticed is that a couple people are referring to the enchantress as the "SK". Arian first and then TMCT... are we sure that that the enchantress works like an SK?
I think toDay/toMorrow people should review Guardman's posts in utmost detail, and see how he interacted with the confirmed (dead) town vs. the alive players. He actually has quite a bit of interactions, such as with Stardust around 563. I'd review it myself but I don't have too much time on my hands right now.
Then your memory surely is short enough since you didn't even drop a sweat in attempting to explain yourself how 1. it wasn't you who quicklynched Tom despite being one of the only two people voting him, when the other one is widely considered town, and 2. never bothered on commenting your slip when confronted with the perspective of being vigged by me and thus, if you're town, losing the game.
Compare your reactions to Rhand's when he was wrongly accused of being something that he wasn't and your scumminess is so absurdly extreme that Iso might as well confirm you in-thread already.

1.) I have no idea how Tom was quicklynched. How much more can I talk about it without just spamming "Does anyone know?"
2.) I didn't comment because it wasn't a "slip". You are grasping for straws.
Why would I compare my reactions to someone else? We aren't even sure Rhand is town (though he's leaning that direction).
All you are saying is "Yea? Well you're scummy." with nothing to back it up. You're harming town more than helping us this game with your ****ty posts, Kosa.
@Karn: You answered my question about you waiting to vote me while looking at time. I'm asking why you didn't do it earlier in your earlier posts today. Why did you wait until after Arian's vote?
My previous posts were occupied with other things. The other votes reminded me that I should use my vote to put pressure where I think it's warranted, and that I don't always have to save it (I'm trying to not always be Captain Hammer, but it looks like someone would rather keep me that way :-/)
1.) I have no idea how Tom was quicklynched. How much more can I talk about it without just spamming "Does anyone know?"
2.) I didn't comment because it wasn't a "slip". You are grasping for straws.
1. Only two people were voting him when he got lynched: you and Arian. But I have a hard time believing that townYou, knowing that you play no part on it, just went "wut" instead of being outraged and demanding answers from the other one voting Tom: Arian. It's a forced reaction and reads as an acknowledge of guilt.
2. It doesn't matter if you think it isn't: you HAVE to acknowledge it and explain us why you believe it isn't. Ignoring it or just saying "NO!" isn't going to help.
All you are saying is "Yea? Well you're scummy." with nothing to back it up. You're harming town more than helping us this game with your ****ty posts, Kosa.
If you're widely seen as scum, that's your fault, not mine.

I don't get outraged. My style is different than yours.

Ok, I can accept that you don't get outraged. I can't accept, though, that you didn't even bothered to press Arian on the matter. You just went on with it as if it was a completely expected thing to happen.
2. It doesn't matter if you think it isn't: you HAVE to acknowledge it and explain us why you believe it isn't. Ignoring it or just saying "NO!" isn't going to help.
What you called the "correct answer" I don't feel is the correct answer.
Why not? Shouldn't a townie be well aware of losing scenarios instead of worrying whether or not the confirmed town isn't town?
I don't have to explain **** to you. I'm mod-confirmed town.
Your attitude has been like this ever since you got confirmed and it isn't helping us.
Nice editing of the "you're scum" part. I've already stated why I didn't wanted to explain it (and I did it to help town), and especially why I didn't want to explain it to you. Not that it matters much, though: if you're actually town, you're screwing us up far more than my "perceived unwillingness" to help.
I don't need to refute anything. You just admitted to:
1. be flavorgaming, which together with modgaming is the quickest way for town to lose a game.
2. be neutral hunting when you should be SOLELY scumhunting, given our current situation. I'm not seeing where you're scumhunting, by the way.
3. repeatedly casting a veil of suspicion on the confirmed townie, of all people. You're most interested in deprecating a mod-confirmed blue than in actually search for scum.
Tell me why I shouldn't be voting you.
I was just rereading and saw this. 1) turned out I was right. 2) I'm hunting anyone who looks anti-town. 3) the suspicion was warranted, and it turned out to be true.
Funny how 2 of your original 3 points against me you knew for a fact were wrong when you said them, Kosa. And the inbetween isn't telling at all.
You're seriously hurting us this game, running at me with stuff that you already knew was wrong before you even made the post.
"She has been slain on the night before her wedding."
You rise up from your throne, your deep, booming voice filling the chamber.
"Impossible! Who is responsible for this treasonous action? Was it the blue dragon king?"
"Lucian, my lord. The dark angel."
Lucian...
"What happened?"
"As you know, your daughter was sent to the blue dragon kingdom to wed the prince of the nation and bring peace between our nations that have been at war for over a century. She was in the tower of the blue dragon king's dining hall when they were attacked."
"...and then what happened?"
"...slaughter, sire. The angel's forces tore them all apart...quite literally."
"Were there no defenses?!? The blue dragons have been our fiercest enemy for ages. I know that they can fight."
"Evidently, the guards weren't expecting to be attacked in a time of upcoming peace."
"Fools..."
"What shall I do, sire?"
"Ready my battle claws and tail guard, Astor. I depart for Formonune in three hours."
"But sire, you haven't seen a battlefield in ye-"
"ARE YOU QUESTIONING ME, ASTOR?"
"No, my liege. I will have the adamantium smith make your equipment like new."
I'll have that bloody angel's head if it's the last thing I do.

Tom roared and his fierce form filled the skies with crimson death, swatting away Lucian and the Enchantress's forces alike. The red dragon king triumphs in the face of death again!
Despite the many years of sending his own troops out to combat in his place, his fighting instincts showed no erosion, nor his cunning in battle any dullness. Several bursts of flame erupted from his mouth, burning hordes of enemies to a crisp. Many more were conquered with his deadly claws and tail.
Unfortunately, the decades of seeing no blood with his own eyes has made him slow.
A halberdier jams his pike into Tom's throat, taking him by surprise.
Tom roars with fury, and sets the halberdier conflagrate. However, it was too late.
Gushing blood, Tom attempts to swat at a nearby legion of the Enchantress's beasts, but alas, it is no no avail.
The red dragon king has fallen.

Tom has been lynched. He was Zendelor, Red Dragon King, Town Gunfire Bombardier.
It is now Night 3. Night actions are due 72 hours from this post.

You walk through the forest, gathering flowers in a basket to decorate the caves with. Ever since the water nymphs were run out of the forest by the fire imps, it's always been so dreary at the new home. That, and you've always been something of a naturalist.
You pause. Was that a voice?
"HELP!"
You dash towards the stream, completely forgetting about the flowers, losing the basket in the process.
Again: "HELP!" You could never turn down the cry of a person in need. It just wasn't in your nature to do so.
You come into the clearing by the river and fall flatly on your face as you stumble over an outstretched leg.
Winded, you turn on your back and look for the trickster. That hurt!
Quickly, a fire imp comes into your line of sight.
"Well, what do we have here? A water nymph? I thought we ran you losers out of the forest for good," he drawled, conjuring a small ball of flame and tossing it around casually like a sports ball.
Your breath comes back to you. "I was just getting flowers when I heard a cry for help. I didn't do you any harm. Please let me go."
The fire imp laughs cruelly. "But I have you where I want you, and as disgusting as water nymphs are, you're a pretty little thing. I think I might just have my way with you."
You flinch as visions from a traumatic past come back to haunt you. "Please...just let me go."
The imp grins viciously and slowly makes his way towards you.
"Hey, what've you found, Chico?" another imp asks, snickering, as he walks up to you and the other imp.
"Oh, just a helpless little water nymph. Where's your dufus brother?"
"He's still tormenting that mulldrifter over by that rock," says the second imp, pointing.
Why...why were these creatures so disgusting? You clench your eyes shut, a wave of nausea coming over you. You have to do something.
The first imp began to stoop down to you. Your eyes shoot open and you summon a wave of water to crash against the two imps. "That should put those hotheads out for a bit." You quickly run over to the third imp and the fish, a high-pressured spout coming up from the river to smack into the imp per your will. "Get out of here!" you shout, and the imp makes drowning noises in reply, shooting downstream with the current.
"You...you saved me," the elusive fish mumbles. "Thank you."
You smile. "I just did what anyone would have done."
"Heh. Not them. They were going to scale me alive and eat me."
"You poor thing. Is there anything I can do for you?"
"No, but there is something that I can do for you. You have a kind heart and a gentle soul. For saving me...I can grant you one wish. Anything your heart desires. What is your name, child? I will remember it through my years."
"My name is Silraven. One...one wish? Anything I want? Really?"
"Really."
You ponder this wondrous offer.
"Okay. I think I know what I want."
"And that is?"
"I wish...I could help people even more than I already can. That is truly what I want."
The fish gurgles happily at your decision, slaps its tail against the rock 3 times, and jumps into the water, waving its tail at you.
You smile and wave back, a feeling of lightness coming over you. You feel like you can save the world, now!

The Most Curious Thing applied healing water generously to the wounds of the injured soldiers, batting away on-coming threats with small waves of water summoned from underground streams.
When the call to arms at Formonune was raised, The Most Curious Thing was the first to leave home and the first to arrive at the city. Where there is bloodshed, there needs to be copious amounts of healing. And The Most Curious Thing filled that niche nicely.
Unfortunately, Lucian was also prepared. His knight cut swaths through the legions of soldiers, indiscriminate to gender, class, and intent. Upon reaching The Most Curious Thing's healing trench wherein soldiers were pouring in and out like an assembly line, The Most Curious Thing had no chance. The knight ferociously cleaved The Most Curious Thing in half, over and over, until he could no longer reform himself from the water he dissipated into each time he "died".
The Most Curious Thing has been killed. He was Silraven, Water Nymph, Town Healer.

Well we all know Kosa and me are town, so if what we have left is 2 town, 2 scum and 1 SK, then I am quite sure you are the SK.
After all, Karn and Arian did lynch Tom together.
This reminds me of a defense I used in my first scum game. Anyway, I don't actually expect you to come clean, but I know what I know and you "know" what you know. We can't lynch you today anyway. We need you.

Why?
@TMCT: Who did you target last Night and why? Please do not evade this question.
Because there is so far no other explanation for the NK failing.
I think you're half right. I'd be willing to bet at this point that it's a Sir Karn/Arian scum team. Pegging the enchantress out of Rhand or TMCT will be harder. Unless it's Tom. That would be helpful.
Not very, I suppose. My ability tonight will fire regardless. It would be good for me to help interpret the results of that ability, but not strictly necessary.
Maybe. But I don't think so.
1) Guardman's death had no indication that it had anything to do with a ghost hunter and plenty of indication that it was the enchantress.
2) Why would the mafia kill Asenion? He's not a strong player and was about as far as you can get from being behaviourally confirmed.
It still doesn't matter. It's never really mattered. Town players are allowed to lie about their roles, too, if they believe it will benefit the town. I WILL grant you that the way TMCT lied while under a lot of pressure reflects poorly, but I think that he's made up for it since.
We've gone back and forth and back and forth about this, and I'm inclined to say that the incessant flavor-gaming is going to be our downfall this game. We're frankly not going to know what exactly happened N1 unless TMCT wants to claim what he did that supposedly messed up the NK. This question can only be progressed if TMCT chooses, and I believe that the information would only harm us toDay. Tomorrow, sure, claim it -- we'll need all the information we can get Tomorrow to make a wise choice.

Stardust holding back information is perfectly wise, but me holding back information is scummy. Talk about double standards.
Also you said you would claim after Stardust answered your questions. Didn't he? So why aren't you claiming yet?
Repeating this because you have been constantly avoiding this question from me, Kosa, and now from Stardust as well.
I'm Tarolen, Half-Elf Scout. I had a one-shot rolecop and a one-shot watch. I still have another one-shot that I don't plan on revealing toDay.
Something akin to perhaps.
Stormblind (my predecessor) watched Kosa the Night before for whatever reason.
How so?
I hate how you have this information and then, suddenly, Tom is somehow quicklynched by you the Day after Seppel dies. It's a tad convenient.
Awful.
Looks like Kosa was just dumb. He repeatedly dodged it in order to make me look scummy for thinking it was him. Then it turns out it was him.
We've all claimed. You're up, TMCT.
Because that's SO totally the only thing pointing you to be scum, amirite?
You don't even defend yourself properly.
I thought it was? Other than Stormblind stuff, which I had no control over.
My previous posts were occupied with other things. The other votes reminded me that I should use my vote to put pressure where I think it's warranted, and that I don't always have to save it (I'm trying to not always be Captain Hammer, but it looks like someone would rather keep me that way :-/)
If you're widely seen as scum, that's your fault, not mine.
I don't get outraged. My style is different than yours.
What you called the "correct answer" I don't feel is the correct answer.
I'm telling you the basis isn't there.
Your attitude has been like this ever since you got confirmed and it isn't helping us.
Ok, I can accept that you don't get outraged. I can't accept, though, that you didn't even bothered to press Arian on the matter. You just went on with it as if it was a completely expected thing to happen.
Why not? Shouldn't a townie be well aware of losing scenarios instead of worrying whether or not the confirmed town isn't town?
Up to you to enlighten us.
Nice editing of the "you're scum" part. I've already stated why I didn't wanted to explain it (and I did it to help town), and especially why I didn't want to explain it to you. Not that it matters much, though: if you're actually town, you're screwing us up far more than my "perceived unwillingness" to help.
"What is it, Astor?"
"Your daughter...she..."
"She what?"

The battle rages on. It is now Day 4. With 5 alive, it takes 3 to lynch.

Deadline is set for June 17th.

I took my final action, but before I share what that was I want Silver and Sir Karn to full claim completely. I'll have more to share after that.
/Barn this.
I'm sorry, I just can't help it at this point.
I'm gonna be so disappointed if you turn up scum. That would mean I would think like scum when I'm town
What can we even do? Lynch mafia and hope the SK and last scum kill each other, I guess? Jesus.
Uh, no. I know you're the SK. Unless it's Silver, I guess, but that seems unlikely.
After all, Karn and Arian did lynch Tom together.
This reminds me of a defense I used in my first scum game. Anyway, I don't actually expect you to come clean, but I know what I know and you "know" what you know. We can't lynch you today anyway. We need you.
