Because no one else has reached for the low-hanging fruit yet, I'll say that this means that Sanguine Bond+Exquisite Blood will be Standard legal for a few months. Though that's beside the fact that you could already pull off that combo (albeit with more fragility) with the Vizkopa Guildmage.
I'm glad for the reprint, because this shouldn't really be a $10 card.
I think Sanguine Bond is a little better because it relies on you gaining life instead of damaging your opponent which is sometimes an easier thing to do with b/w.
The issue with an enchantment-based control deck is that Assemble the Legion is such a better stabilize/finisher card. It is hard to go into black for just a couple of cards that don't do much on their own.

Assemble the Legion will win you the game eventually. Sanguine Bond is used in ways to win the game instantly.
Sanguine Bond into Crypt Incursion against Rites seems hilarious...while Bond being played by Rites seems scary as hell. Blink Tusk=10-point life swing? Yikes...
Seems like it might be decent enough to win some FNM's but obviously would be a fairly slow deck. I really get upset when I think of decks like this but then lack the sweepers to make them competitive. I mean with this deck you only really have access to the following TerminusMutilate and Rolling Temblor :(. Back in the day decks like this had the access to the most removal possible.

I've had way too much fun this standard with Exquisite Blood. It does a shocking amount of work in B/W control. Obzedat is a 6 life swing. Blood Baron becomes more awesome. And occasionally, I win for no reason because of Vizkopa Guildmage. Don't underestimate that card.
That said, I like Guildmage more than Sanguine Bond because a 2/2 blocker that occasionally gives lifelink does more.

You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
