Judging by the look of the other white slivers I am more inclined to say that this is the non promo art for bonescythe sliver.
I am more than happy to be wrong, but so far every new sliver has had a very specific style depending on what colour it was, luckily we only have a few weeks to wait and see.
Well, it can't be Bonescythe Sliver, as we already know the non-promo art for it, and it doesn't look like that. But I do agree, the style does look too close for comfort to that of the White neo-Slivers, so we'll just have to see.

Someday, I will own all of the dragons. All of them. 43/111, approximately 39% complete. Over a third done.
(calling it now; there will be a cycle of Legendary dual lands with Basic Land types in Theros block)

Another thing that leans me towards the side of naya slivers in them being a returning "mechanic", so far none of the returning mechanics in recent coresets have spanned all 5 colours....but one can hope.
Actually if you go look at the Mother ship's image gallery you will see that Bonescythe's normal art is something else. Or simply search Bonescythe sliver and you will find it.
This is a sliver we have yet to see and since it is on the pack there is a good chance of this being a rare.

A rare or even a Mythic, seeing as at least three of the Booster Pack images are from Mythic Rares (Chandra, Garruk, and Archangel of Thune).

You know things are looking grim when people begin speculating that artwork that looks like someone smashed Titanium Golem and Cobalt Golem into each other hard enough to fuse them into one, looks like a Sliver, and that doing so isn't completely asinine.
There is another thread on the subject of the slivers' new looks. But honestly this is one of my favorite, it doesn't seem to have a face nor a human shaped head.
Sliver Hive is your basic tribal deck, in which your creatures gain strength when you add more creatures of the same type — in this case, new formula slivers. Because slivers are found in all five colors, to really take advantage of them you need to run as many colors as possible. This is a three-color deck: green, red, and white (a color combination referred to as "Naya" by the magnoscenti).
The article says that this particular deck is Naya, but that slivers are found in all colors. We just have to hope that it's not refering to old-style slivers only.

Excellent news! Given that this is near-confirmation that Slivers will be in all five colors in M14, it looks like I will be able to give the neo-Slivers my (un)official thumbs up!

No it isn't. If you look closely, the deck contains cards from magic's past (Armageddon, for instance) that are not in M14.
M14's slivers are Naya colors only.

'geddon can't be reprinted these days. Mass land destruction is a huge no-no unless it's unplayable without combo. As a result, white doesn't get land destruction any more either.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Yes, there are slivers present in all five colors - not in M14, but in Magic's history. Read the blog.
I have read the blog, and my point still stands: it only says that the slivers in that deck are Naya colored, but aknowledges that they apear in blue and black also. It doesn't state "but in this game/expansion/whatever they are just Naya", it refered to an specific deck. That's why I didn't say "OMG slivers are confirmed to be in all colors!!!!", I just pointed that there was still a posibility.

Except that it has the hair tentacles/Predator dreads like all the other slivers, which is a pretty key sign. So no, not really asinine.

Your logic, given that Slivers are always 5 color and in M14 there seems to be 3 slivers per color, is amazingly flawed.
Seriously, everyone saying they are Naya only needs to sit back, and think for a few minutes on how dumb you sound. Hell, Id go far enough to say watch out for a new mythic 5 color Sliver by sets end. If you expect any less, you havent been playing magic long.

I've been playing long enough to know what a sliver looks like and plays like. These abombinations don't fit any of those criteria. Also, MaRo could't talk about having slivers in all 5 colors. If 5 Color slivers are a given, and we know we get sliver(sort of...), why the secrecy?
I fully expect the made slivers 3 colored this time around for drafting purpouses.

Do you have to be told the sun will rise and set? Of course not, silly, it's understood. If the guys from Wizards have to tell you Slivers are in all 5 colors, when half the set is as of yet unknown, then you dont know Slivers very well.
But if you need some more logical talk, the core is for beginners. Dont want to over load them with 5 colors off the bat, do we? No! We want them to start with 3 then branch out (AKA buy more cards).

... nobody gave this guy a godbook to spoil details about the set.
And how do you know that? Does Wizards of the Coast publish a list of the people that are given godbooks? I'm not trying to be a smartass, I seriously don't know. I do know that some publishers are given them to help them promote the sets: http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/news/042811a

I won't go over what has already been said. But the reason could be that by having it unknown if we have 3 or 5 colored slivers is so that WOTC can have people argue over the matter and more attention will be drawn to the set. Or I just over think things lol.

Did you read what I quoted? It's says there that slivers are present in all five colors. I don't get what does Armageddon have to do with anything.
