Myojin of Seeing Winds was one of the first foils I pulled. I loved that card for some reason...
I actually really like him in Teferi lists where you just flash in a big wave of card draw. But ya... there are plenty of other amazing effects for the mana.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
Anyone have any idea how many cards fit in standard 1 row long boxes? I don't even know what brand they are but just the basic long single row cardboard boxes for cards. I was thinking I have a rediculous amount of bulk common / uncommon that I could probably offload for some easy trade in cash to one of the online sites. Offhand I have like 3-4 long boxes for each color so it could easily turn into quite a bit of trade credit as I would probably cull them down to one box for each color.

Like 1000 I think. If we're thinking of the same one.

Ya, thats sort of the conclusion I am coming to after searching ebay a bit. If I culled my collection back I think it could be something like $80-$100 worth of commons / uncommons at the rate SCG gives. Unfortunately though their prices are also super high on everything..... annoying.

Anyone know any other good white/colorless hate cards?
I'm thinking about Tangle Wire/Smokestack, but I don't know how to use them or build around them. Or even if my deck will be able to use them optimally.

"[Screw] you and the green you ramped in on." - My EDH battle cry. If I had one. Which I don't.
The other part I have thats sort of an issue with the SCG buy list is that if you just give up and take bulk for everything its a lot easier. However they end up giving like $0.05 or $0.10 for a lot of commons and uncommons but you have to look up like every one of them to see if they give anything for it. So its kind of a ridiculous amount of work but it could add up quick.... annoying.

Yeah, I had similar issues when I sold them some stuff. I actually ended up splitting between SCG and T&T because T&T had crazy high buy prices on certain things. I just went down their buy lists for decent priced things that I knew I had. I also didn't bother selling anything that was less than a quarter.
I don't have nearly the collection you have, so there's that.

Their prices definitely differ quite a bit. I have a feeling I might have to organize my entire collection by set and quantity and run through a few lists to get an idea of what the better payoff will be. That sounds like an enormous amount of work lol. The payoff for each card that is worth something is huge though considering bulk common / uncommon prices are approximately $0.005 per card vs potentially even just $0.05 is a 10 times greater rate. Multiplied out I might actually end up with a decent bit of money if I wanted to go the long route rather than the lazy route.... damn. 16,000-20,000 cards cant be cheap to ship either I am assuming.... Plus organizing and checking the list for all those cards.....

Well, I sent one starter deck box to each, so that'll give you an idea of how many I did. Mostly I was selling off my trade binder which wasn't getting used. To give you an idea of the price difference, at the time, I sold T&T Rancors for 2.10, Lightning Helixes for 2.00, Knight Exemplars for 3.00, and Relentless Rats for 1.00. SCG was nowhere near those prices, but there were also a lot of cards that SCG beat hands down.
The most interesting EDH game I had yesterday: I was playing 2HG with my sisters (teamed with sliver tribal). Both of us are mana screwed, my team mate has Sliversmith out and I have Pernicious Deed out. Our opponents are Reaper King with lots of things out (most importantly, Child of Alara) and her team mate plays my Anowon, who has already managed to transform Bloodline Keeper... But, since my Deed is so scary (I had only 4 lands, no mana rocks or anything), my opponent uses Terminate on her own Child of Alara to get rid of my Deed. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry...

I don't know. In some situations, it's better to force the wrath effect than to play around it.
Even when we had practically no blockers and they had army of vampires (not just tokens, but Ascendant Evincar, Drana and Necropolis Regent) and she killed her Child pre-combat...?

I agree the timing is really odd. They should have attacked you guys and just slow played the game. Save the terminate for your turn on your attack or in the middle of something important.

Mono white is tough. It always pulls me in promising sweet amazing cool effects. Then I realize its a trap as I struggle to draw cards...

Yeah, at least mono-red has looting and Wheels.
You could go for Memory Jar and card advantage with things like Land Tax and Weathered Wayfarer, but that only gets you so far.
Pristaxcontrombmodruu!
I think you need an elesh Norin deck instead. Seems much more reasonable.
EDH:
RNorin the WaryR <-Link! (Primer - Mono Red Control)
GUEdric, Spymaster of TrestUG <- Link! (Mini-Primer - Dredge)
Duel Commander:
WUGeist of Saint TraftUW <- Link! (Aggro-Control)
BGSkullbriar, the Walking GraveGB <- Link! (Aggro)
BUGDamia, Sage of StoneGUB <- Link! (Extinction Control)

Nah, I can do this. Trading Post with Spine of Ish Zah, Wurmcoil Engine, and Memory Jar will be good.
Don't forget Skullclamp, token producers, and a few equipment tutors. White is good at that.

Pretty sure an Elesh Norn deck can't use that.
