Ive been looking to make a tribal elf deck recently, but the normal mono green doesn't seem that fun to me, although its probably the best. So I've been looking around at various multi colored elf generals and momir vig, simic visionary and Radha, heir to keld seem like the two best. Momir would be good to tutor up whatever I need, and blue would add draw counters and such, Radha could be for burn, and also things like wheel of fortune, also Radha herself is quite good(with all the lords and elf support, besides her ramping). And Edric is just Edric. So what do you guys think? Any input is appreciated! Thanks!
I personally don't enjoy playing white as much as blue and red, and Rhys isn't that interesting to me just because I don't really like tokens.
It seems hard to do elf tribal in edh without tokens....
im biased towards Vig because he was one of my first decks and it got me a crap ton of wins out of nowhere..... but once people learned what it did, it got hated on quickly....
Personally my favorite Elf Commander is Nath of the Gilt-leaf. being proactive with discard makes it so wraths are highly unlikely and cracking a Memory Jar with him is GG if it's not handled within a turn or two, which involves topdecking since they're all hellbent c:.
Still, between the two Mormir Vig is probably the better of the two. Being able to fetch out your lords like Eladamri, Lord of Leaves is quite powerful.

Nath does well in a deck built upon attrition based play. Think pox and death cloud, with a sub theme of elf tribal. Easily a griefy but fun deck to behold.

It's definitely going to be aggro like other elf tribals, just another color. And Edric might just be better that momir...
EDH: Prime Speaker Zegana,
If going for Aggro elves, why not Rhys (either one)?
