Even though there is the Official What's Your Magic Online Username thread in the Magic Online General subforum, I thought I'd start this thread as we are all Commander players and this is intended to be a resource to find other Commander players. At the very least, introduce yourself, and if you feel so inclined, talk about anything that goes on over there. I'll keep this thread updated with everyone's user names on there. Also, if you use Skype (and want to use it during matches), share that name as well.

As for myself, I've been on MTGO since 2011. I only play Commander there, and have amassed a fairly sizable collection. I tend to avoid infinite combos on there and other combos that take forever to resolve because of the triggers (I even dismantled my Animar deck because it took too long to play one turn). While I consider myself a competitive player and build decks that way, I generally try to build in a fashion that doesn't take the fun out of the game for other players, because after all, there's no prizes to be had online.
I'm there. 3drinks both here and online. I've been there since ~2008 or so, so I've been blessed with a great collection. I just recently completed my lands so i can do ten fetch/abur/shock/check/pain/rainbow/utility manabase. So I'm naturally pretty excited for that.
The Dead Weatherman on MTGS and TWolfblood on MTGO. My account is about a day old so I don't have any decks, but maybe I'll finish Tolsimir one day. I bought some stuff for it today (Wood Elves, Lightning Greaves, some land, etc).
Always down for a game have a decent collection online nothing like my offline collection but perfect for commander as most is singleton. Prefer faster paved games but I'll play anything
Cryo,
We have disagreed on a few things before, both here and the main EDH message board but I wanted to thank you for taking the time to do and maintain this.

"I think EDH would be more fun for the majority of participants if players just showed eachother their decks rather than actually playing games out."
:)same name:)
Not on alot, 2-4 games a week. GW whore. Flop back and fourth between Rhys and Trostani. Been on 2 years but only play commander and pauper (affinity)(SB sux). I have a Karador deck thats fun but I am a bad player and usually misplay it tons.
nightwyrm here and there. I pretty much only play limited online but haven't really played for the last several years ever since they got rid of leagues.

No worries. Eventually you'll realize I'm right :cool2:. And I want to do this to try and lessen the faceless approach that online Magic has.
Same nick both places. I play a lor of fringe formats (100cs, legacy tribal, classic 2hg, some times pauper). I also play commander (duels I got a fair few decks, in multi I play my pauper pirate deck) and modern (the later only once in awhile).
My collection is by now fairly decent for commander (most duals - except for colors I never seem to use - ur and br - all fetches though). I play pauper in multi not because I do not have the cards for other things but because I happen to think it fun to play (and ppl block me for playing it way less) and because it wins most of the time - removel mostly hits everybody else because of my recursion and because the creatures are small and with only etb effects.
I enjoy playing combo and am generally fast enough to do so. I geneally end up with some kind of agro combo (except my multiplayer commander deck which is mainly control/recursion).

As a suggestion, it would be really cool to add like a skype tag to this too as it would be cool to hit people up for a skype conversation as you played them online.
Just a thought though.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.

Good idea. Didn't even think about that.
So, if anyone wants to share their Skype user name as well....
Tarasco here and on MTGO. Been online since 2005. I've played solely Commander for the last 3 years. I don't really stick with specific decks for long, they usually last a week or two at most. Check out the link in my sig for what I play and how I play it.
Thanks for doing this! I recognize a few names already. I'd love to be able to do the Skype thing, but that's just not possible for me right now.

This thread almost makes me want to get MTGO. Almost.
It's made me quite lazy and not have to track the stack, storm, life totals, etc. I love it, even if I am jealous at all you Cockatrice players and your proxies (he says ironically, as he plays with digital objects).
For real though, it's a great way to get in some games when you're otherwise unable to. You already knew that though, being a Trice player.

I'm lucky enough to play mtg with friends every Friday (more often most of the time) so I don't really need to play online to get my mtg fix. I enjoy magic in theory more than playing it honestly.

Must be nice. I used to play regularly, but even when I have a bi-weekly league it was sporadic at best due to my conflicting obligations. You'd think that as sociable as I am that I could make friends, but nope.

This. I haven't played real life Magic in over 15 years. I can't imagine trying to remember stack interactions everything on the battlefield. I really appreciate that the client handles all the complicated rules issues (hello Humility, thanks for screwing things up).
I also like the convenience factor, but I assume this is the same with Cockatrice. Being able to turn on Sportscenter in the background on a Tuesday night with a beer in my hand after the kids go to bed is awesome.

I play Commander almost exclusively, with an occasional dabble in Pauper.

Newest deck is a Jaya Ballard one that I'm rather proud of! I'm logging in there now, if anyone wants to chat/friend me.
