Rereading that which I skimmed during V/LA (essentially, start of the day onward.)
@Seppel: I still want to know why you thought Macius is town.
Stardust's 737: Now I finally know why Seppel keeps saying wide net. Given that the OP more or less confirms 3 more anti-town players besides Gman, 4 players isn't that wide of a net.
Void's insistence that he is not confirmed town confirms him town.
Stormblind's 748: I forgot how badly Stormblind was posting when s/he was still posting.
Tom mentions repeatedly how he'll go about shooting people. I'm thinking that he lied about only having one shot to try to discredit me, given how often he kept up his line about having multiple shots. I think I still don't like him as a result, but some of my conflictedness remains. I don't like him as a first choice of lynch, and I definitely want him to prove if he has shots remaining toMorrow.
Oh yeah Silver is in this game.
Tom has done nothing besides say he'll shoot people. Also, his 816 is so bad. And his 819 for that matter.
Stardust's 829 and 835 tiptoe around the neutral so hard that I almost think that Stardust is the Enchantress. He then continues to be adamant about Tom not being a neutral.
Tom is fourth on the Macius wagon. When the last three votes have all been a vote for Macius, I feel like I'd have wanted to slow things down and bring the case back to Earth here.
TMCT questions Macius on his reaction...
Silver's nothing post. Then he comments on one thing - swishh's reaction being bad. Odd that he didn't comment on Macius now. lol's at Guardman.
Stormblind hops on Macius (L-1) without further explanation.
Rhand unvotes to slow things down a bit. Good stuff.
TMCT puts out some questions about Macius's claim (Void started it).
Silver: Post. Void is town. Macius's role is scummy, but he's not sure. Unsure about Macius in general. Excuses his own waffling (self-conscious?). Does ask Macius a follow-up question at least.
Silver defending Macius (without taking a stance) and pushing the swishh wagon - post.
Guardman jokes with TMCT. Not sure how to read this. Scum trying to join in on a town conversation, or joking with a buddy. More likely the former I think. Somewhat defends TMCT in the following two posts.
swishh claims redirector.
Silver's list. Guardman null (but funny). swishh is scum. Macius is a setup (Silver's finally taken a side). Implies Asenion may be scum. Oddly missing Kosakosa, despite taking care to include anyone he missed off the player list.
Tom and Asenion fight over swishh's "fear mongering". No read from that though...
Tom Daykills swishh. Quick list: Void, Stormblind, TMCT, Silver, Kosakosa, Jonpike1 (W_G) were suspicious of swishh throughout the game so far. Tom makes a backup plan of going after Void if swishh flips town. No plan if he flips scum. That's not good.
TMCT makes plans for swishh being scum - means Asenion is town. Tom disagrees. Looks better for TMCT and worse for Tom.
Guardman shoots down "Tom is town" talk. Town points for Tom.
Silver talks about the vote thief, but doesn't really engage in anything else. Reiterates question to Macius.
Tom suddenly becomes unsure of Void thanks to Macius voting him (who Tom also thought was scum). Reevaluation is townie.
Jonpike1 jumps on the Void wagon for "bloodthirstiness". That feels weird. He defends Macius in the same post.
Tom reiterates the same thing about the Void wagon. Unwilling to change his reads on Macius or Jon. Tunneling is null?
Stormblind's list. Rhand, Tom, Void are town. Guardman and Stardust are leaning town. Macius, Asenion and maybe Kosakosa and Jonpike are not town. No read on TMCT, Silver or AGod. Seems legit.
The only thing I don't like about this post is the "Happy?" at the end.
Stormblind jumps in and ruins Void's "catch" on Kosakosa's flavourful role PM. Looking back at this now, is this a gamble to clear himself? Either that or he actually has a town role PM and just goofed.
Tom's quick post should be telling later on. Tacks on Guardman as an afterthought? Only if the other three are town.
Silver votes Kosakosa without reason (first vote). Weak question directed at Stormblind and slightly strong directed at Rhand. Points out that Jon might be newb scum replacing, but quickly resolves that to a null tell.
TMCT's big post. Attacks Stormblind, Asenion and Kosakosa. Doesn't feel opportunistic. I generally like this post.
Guardman throws Seppel into a random post. +town for Seppel.
Silver: soft post. This should have been much more aggressive, I think. Feels like a setup.
Seppel makes a good post, declining to attack Asenion and targeting TMCT instead (first vote).
W_G's starting his catch-up. First paragraph feels shady - basing reads on interactions with Macius. But Asenion is scum no matter what, and Tom is scum if Macius flips town.
Silver's case on TMCT. Noted earlier that I didn't like the "scum theme" speculation. Case is long, but mostly fairly weak apart from the voting patterns and lack of involvement.
W_G's list. Asenion, Macius and Stormblind are scum. Guardman's reasoning for leaning town, "No real malice that I can see", feels different from the rest of the reads.
Seppel calls TMCT "absolutely town". Not a big fan of this considering he was voting for TMCT less than 4 hours before this post. At least he's heading in the right direction.
TMCT is very likely town despite some noteable slips.
Silver started a bit rocky, but his later play looks quite townie to me. More engaged, more actual work instead of a pretense.
Stormblind frequently has raised my eyebrow, but my gut still thinks he's town. Want more to base this on.
Tom I generally don't like. Interaction with Guardman points to Tom being not-scum. Tom's own behaviour and opportunism point to not-town. Now that we know he's only 1-shot, Tom could be anything (including responsible for the Enchantress kill last night). I'd be okay with his lynch today.
But I want to lynch Wheat_Grinder more. Jonpike was bad and W_G hasn't done anything to help his cause either. Opportunism, Guardman interaction and an uninspiring claim. Pretty sure following Seppel is a W_G scumtell too. Vote Wheat_Grinder.
Add Seppel to round out my top five. Top three is W_G, Tom, Stormblind.
Why should I comment? Obviously I was wrong that Kosa was the target, but I maintain that Asenion was not the mafia nightkill target. Apparently you know something about that, but random speculation is useless.
^ Since that's evidently going to take a few days I'll say right now that I don't care for Stardust. He also called Seppel out for "scum 101" neutral hunting while hiding his arguments behind modgaming of the flavor and setup variety
If I can prove someone's town based on anything, I'm going to do it. Proving someone's scum based on that is much more dangerous.
As it happens, now that Tom has claimed 1-shot after all, everything I was arguing was a moot point anyway.
If Iso ends the day tomorrow morning, this is very likely my last post. I don't like voting Macius. He's a coin flip. But I'm not interested in scrambling to get a claim at this point which might end up getting a good PR lynched (unlike Macius's bad PR). He might be town, but he's still a good default.
Vote Macius.
Then yes, I can definitely see it as scum-on-scum discussion. I'm wary to even call it a "fight" because after one round of explanations, you both completely forget that you were talking with each other.
Congratulations, you've just called attention to your scumposts and you have proven that you're scum.
Considering Guardman completely forgets that he's talking with you...
That was three days later. Guardman didn't post for three days after I shot down his case.
As for me dropping it, why should I push him to continue a bad case on me? I'd refuted it as far as I was concerned. Guardman had caught my attention at that point, but if you remember, I didn't have time to be doing any work in-game then. I didn't need to put together a case against him Day 1.
Considering Guardman completely forgets that he's talking with you...

What does GMan not posting have to do with you not interacting with him? Does it say in the rules "if someone stops posting, then you cannot interact with that player"?
If it was a bad case, then I would expect more scum hunting from you rather than just dropping it dead. More so since GMan did flip scum.
...which actually reminds me. @Tom: could you please attempt a Daykill on Stardust? Just to check if you're indeed one-shot. While you do it, please claim name and flavor.
Daykill: Stardust
I'm Zendelor, Red Dragon King, Town Gunfire Bombardier. Obv a 1-shot dayvig.
I also really don't care much anymore, but I think I'm fine with a Stardust or Stormblind lynch right now.
What does GMan not posting have to do with you not interacting with him? Does it say in the rules "if someone stops posting, then you cannot interact with that player"?
If it was a bad case, then I would expect more scum hunting from you rather than just dropping it dead. More so since GMan did flip scum.
Yes. I wasn't going to drop it, and planned to follow through, but that plan was to be carried out the next Day. By then he was dead.
Stardust's 737: Now I finally know why Seppel keeps saying wide net. Given that the OP more or less confirms 3 more anti-town players besides Gman, 4 players isn't that wide of a net.
It was the scum language that bugged me. I said wide net not because he had a huge number of suspects, but because your and my name were thrown in there with the worst kind of supportive reasoning.
Stardust's 829 and 835 tiptoe around the neutral so hard that I almost think that Stardust is the Enchantress. He then continues to be adamant about Tom not being a neutral.
I don't remember tiptoeing. That's a big reach considering I was easily the most vocal about the neutral in general.
I know Seppel wanted to switch from Wheat to Stardust -- Void, did you, as well? IMO we should be treating this game as though deadline is Friday, because this weekend is Memorial Day, and I'm sure most of us have plans (I know I do). At the very least, I intend to place my final-for-deadline-vote by Friday, because I'll be V/LA through Tuesday.
I did like Stardust's "big post" on the last page overall -- he obviously went back through and did a lot of work on it. However, I find myself questioning whether or not this was in direct response to the pressure that has been building on him toDay, specifically as of a few days ago when he started to get called out for active lurking // when Void started up the tally idea and he was on most everyone's lists. It feels a little too hail-maryish to me, if that makes sense. Still fine with Stardust, Wheat, or Tom, as per my 3-set. Hopefully the Stormblind situation resolves itself overNight, one way or the other.
@Tom: Completely naked votes are a primary scumtell in my book. I won't say that I wanted/want you to die specifically for them alone, but they are definitely a contributing factor.

This was the reread that I'd been putting off since the beginning of Day 2 due to work load. I started it in earnest right before my V/LA, and it was during my V/LA that people started calling me a lurker. So, no, it had nothing to do with the pressure on me.

Yes. I wasn't going to drop it, and planned to follow through, but that plan was to be carried out the next Day. By then he was dead.
Vote: Stardust
I've given my fair share of bad excuses in the past, but this one is one of the worst.
Arianrhod
Stardust is the lynch for toDay. Read above for why.
Everyone posting from here on out needs to explicitly state whether they'd rather lynch me or Wheat_Grinder as it stands right now. Assume those are the only two options on the table at the moment. I want to have a good idea of everyone's thoughts by tomorrow at the latest since we really should try to get this resolved by Friday.
Deadline's Monday, but someone said it's a long weekend and I'm typically not around much over the weekend either. So we should try to get this resolved by Friday if possible.
I'm bored, so I read through some of KotH. What a painful game. Really sad that my first public game had to be cancelled after a month of Day 1. Is this what you were thinking? That's the closest I could really find. Post count file... HA! What a terrible idea.
If forced to choose between Stardust and Wheat, I would choose Wheat. But, I don't like that Tom (who is still my #1 scum read) is sitting on Wheat as the first person voting him.
If Wheat flips town, I expect Tom's head on a plate tomorrow .___.
I don't like that Tom (who is still my #1 scum read) is sitting on Wheat as the first person voting him.
If Wheat flips town, I expect Tom's head on a plate tomorrow .___.
I don't think that the first statement is accurate. I was voting you and then I unvoted so I don't think I'm voting anyone right now. I said I was ok with a Stardust or Stormblind lynch, I'm not sure about Wheat anymore. His reactions to my fake shot didn't feel scummy.
I don't like you trying to set up a future lynch, especially on a false basis.
It was the scum language that bugged me. I said wide net not because he had a huge number of suspects, but because your and my name were thrown in there with the worst kind of supportive reasoning.
So...chainsaw and OMGUS.
I don't remember tiptoeing. That's a big reach considering I was easily the most vocal about the neutral in general.
You were vocal in saying Tom was not the neutral, but you were tiptoeing about who the neutral actually was.
Also Seppel has you beat for vocality by saying Tom was the SK in just about every post for awhile.
@Tom: You're not scumhunting. You shot swishh for no good reason. You voted Macius. You've wasted multiple RL days of our time due to a worthless gambit. It took you about 7 posts to actually claim, wasting even more time. And worst of all, you're town.
I'm sorry for offending you, but become better at the game. Please.
Compare my message gambit (which lasted for a little more than an hour, and I waited until my intended target and a few other players were viewing the thread to maximize it's efficacy), to your gambit (which lasted for days, and had no determinable effect except it caused Wheat to claim, which was going to happen anyway).
2. Stardust
3. Stormblind
Just have someone say a topic, then people make things up by combining two cards to create a new concept.
Like, someone asks, "What will be the most disappointing moment in my life?"
And the winning answer is, "Neil Patrick Harris" "farting and walking away."
We were commenting on how the black cards grew stale after playing for long enough. The fun of the game really is in the white cards.
@Seppel: I still want to know why you thought Macius is town.
Stardust's 737: Now I finally know why Seppel keeps saying wide net. Given that the OP more or less confirms 3 more anti-town players besides Gman, 4 players isn't that wide of a net.

The more I read of Tom the less I like Tom again.
Screw it I've read enough now.
Top three reads:
1. Stardust
2. Tom
3. Stormblind
Stormblind overreacts a bit...
Good stuff.
Silver gets barely involved, when he wasn't involved at all previously.
TMCT puts out some questions about Macius's claim (Void started it).
Silver: Post. Void is town. Macius's role is scummy, but he's not sure. Unsure about Macius in general. Excuses his own waffling (self-conscious?). Does ask Macius a follow-up question at least.
Tom has some weak language here.
TMCT defending Void.
TMCT is the first to notice the odd votecount, but directs his question at Void instead of Iso. Kind of odd.
TMCT wants to lynch Macius or swishh.
Stormblind feels bad about the swishh wagon.
Tom and Asenion fight over swishh's "fear mongering". No read from that though...
Tom Daykills swishh. Quick list: Void,
Stormblind, TMCT, Silver, Kosakosa, Jonpike1 (W_G) were suspicious of swishh throughout the game so far. Tom makes a backup plan of going after Void if swishh flips town. No plan if he flips scum. That's not good.TMCT makes plans for swishh being scum - means Asenion is town.
Jonepike1's worst post.
Rhand votes Asenion without reason (first vote).
Silver votes Kosakosa without reason (first vote). Weak question directed at Stormblind and slightly strong directed at Rhand. Points out that Jon might be newb scum replacing, but quickly resolves that to a null tell.
Stormblind and Seppel fight.
Seppel starts going hard with the neutral hunting.
Tom with a naked vote on Stormblind wagon (second vote). The "slip" W_G found was terrible.
Silver's reasoning for Stormblind as scum. Asks W_G to reconsider and move after TMCT instead.
Seppel the first to consider Guardman scum.
Void is town if there was ever any doubt.
Guardman says I'm scum. Here's his case.
W_G defends me from Guardman. Interesting.
Not sure how you guys can think I'm scum after this series of posts with Guardman.
Stormblind getting worked up. Probably town, except that it's just a simple defense to someone's belief.
TMCT naked votes immediately after Seppel details why he thinks TMCT is scum. Odd.
TMCT responds to Silver's case, then claims doc.
Seppel fishing?
Stormblind planning for the night. Feels pretty good here.
DAY 2
TMCT reacts strongly to Kosa revealing his bulletproof vest. I was a bit shocked too. Seems legit.
Reminder: Guardman interactions. Guardman never defended TMCT, but he did attack those who voted him.
Seppel calls W_G and me "odd".
Silver: this post is better. Don't understand the wagon on Tom.
W_G jumps on Tom's wagon without reasoning (third vote?).
Ugh, all this Enchantress stuff makes me sick. Silver's feeling better at least.
TMCT moves further from his original stance on Tom's kill. The two 90 degree turns to make a 180 make this seems self-conscious to me.
Seppel calls TMCT "absolutely town". Not a big fan of this considering he was voting for TMCT less than 4 hours before this post. At least he's heading in the right direction.
W_G throws some ad hom at Kosakosa.
If W_G is scum, TMCT is town. Post.
Conclusions
TMCT is very likely town despite some noteable slips.
Silver started a bit rocky, but his later play looks quite townie to me. More engaged, more actual work instead of a pretense.
Stormblind frequently has raised my eyebrow, but my gut still thinks he's town. Want more to base this on.

Add Seppel to round out my top five. Top three is W_G, Tom, Stormblind.
If I can prove someone's town based on anything, I'm going to do it. Proving someone's scum based on that is much more dangerous.

Considering Guardman completely forgets that he's talking with you and instead says:
In response to Guardman ignoring you, you say:
Then yes, I can definitely see it as scum-on-scum discussion. I'm wary to even call it a "fight" because after one round of explanations, you both completely forget that you were talking with each other.
Congratulations, you've just called attention to your scumposts and you have proven that you're scum.
I drop my support for wanting to lynch Wheat and Stormblind today. Stardust needs to hang.
We can always disregard SB's reasoning if it's dull, though.

Will be voting Stardust once everyone checks in.
That was three days later. Guardman didn't post for three days after I shot down his case.

Makes sense Arianrhod, though why you wanted me to die for a naked vote still doesn't.
I find this quite offensive and my motivation to play this game has dropped significantly. Thnx man.
Daykill: Stardust
I'm Zendelor, Red Dragon King, Town Gunfire Bombardier. Obv a 1-shot dayvig.
I also really don't care much anymore, but I think I'm fine with a Stardust or Stormblind lynch right now.
I see it now.
Yes. I wasn't going to drop it, and planned to follow through, but that plan was to be carried out the next Day. By then he was dead.
Today: Stardust calls his decision to wait on talking to GMan until D2 a "plan." You know, a plan? It's one of those things mafia teams come up with.
I was really hoping you'd actually read my last couple posts instead of just continuing to push a wagon blindly.
Just rereading W_G to make sure of my read. Noticed that I missed this post shortly before my massive post yesterday.
It was the scum language that bugged me. I said wide net not because he had a huge number of suspects, but because your and my name were thrown in there with the worst kind of supportive reasoning.
I don't remember tiptoeing. That's a big reach considering I was easily the most vocal about the neutral in general.

No? I've only been town once before. Should be easy enough to search.
Oh, and I guess KotH, but that hardly counts.
You've been in nearly every game I've played since KotH.
Iso was in both the mod games I joined, so between the two of you you've got my entire mafia career covered.
This one made me laugh too.
