Only reason I didn't vote for Sir Karn's lamb is that it should be restricted to redirect only spells targeting creatures you control, so you can't use it (unflavourfully) to steal your opponent's auras and Giant Growths.
I noticed that this morning after I made it last night.
Cat's Grace
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant creature.
Enchanted creature has ":symq:: Until end of turn, this creature gains your choice of First Strike, Hexproof or Reach."
Totem Armor.
Maokun, I think Master Replicator is missing a pretty critical keyword ability...
You know those old warner brothers cartoons where a character would facepalm so hard that it kind of sticks to it so when they pull their hand back, their faces stretch all rubbery-like until bouncing back with a smack? Because I cannot find a gif of that and that's my face right now.
I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.
I really do predict this to be our worst rare in set award winner. I'd be happier opening a jar of eyeballs, so I think anything worse is highly unlikely. This card wont just have zero constructed potential, but not be significantly better than a mass of ghouls in a draft.
I find voting is pretty forgiving of card errors for the short time I've contributed. People are filling in the lines with what's they would have designed in the framework and loving it.
Scute Bug1G
Creature - Insect (C)
Trample Landfall - Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, Scute Bug gets +2/+2 until end if turn.
1/1
I think I'm going to have to steal this as a 1/2 if I ever make a lands matter themed set!
Random question for everyone: How long do you spend on the cards you submit for DCC?
I sometimes spend a while getting the wording and cost right, check the gatherer to see that my card doesn't exist already and isn't broken, etc. Other times I have an idea and just go with it and only spend a minute on my card. Sometimes I have no new idea for the day so I look for an interesting card I've designed before for a set or just scribbled on a piece of paper and submit it.
It would be interesting to know everyone's methods though.

I haven't really played since Onslaught block, so if I'm unaware of developments since then, I apologize in advance.
The current set I'm working on creating FallingStar.

Of late I've been trying to submit ideas I've been floating for a set I've been trying to put together. Clearly I should of given today's design more thought, since I think it basically murders the combat step with its current wording. Oh well, now that I've noticed, I can fix it in the set.
Essentially, my process seems much the same as yours.

I usually have an idea floating around, but sometimes I come up with something on the spot(that usually ends badly). Othertimes if I'm really stumped, I just borrow something from my current custom set.
One cycle done (where the idea was to make a set of cards that... sort of fit two guilds each), and now time for a different cycle - instants that you can keep casting, but they keep getting more and more expensive every time (in exchange for larger and larger effects).
I just realized that my card in today's poll uses charge counters, but references time counters on the next line. Oops. They're both supposed to be the same type of counters, presumably charge counters.
EDIT: It also uses the word "but" instead of "put"... starting think I was drunk yesterday.

MDenham, I really liked Resounding Vision, but it's too good and a bit wordy. This would be my take on it:
Resounding Vision :1mana::symu:
Instant (R)
Draw a card.
Resonate 1 (Then put 1 echo counter on this and exile it. Echo counters remain on this as it moves to and from the stack. This can be cast from exile, with additional cost for each echo counter on it.)
I think this version is worse than yours (though not in the shortest of runs) while still being strictly better than Think Twice.
I'm actually fairly happy with the card as designed; I'd actually say it's about equal to Blue Sun's Zenith in power, which is where I was aiming (that is, right around the border of "should this be mythic, or just a good rare?").
I'm fairly sure that the other three members of the cycle aren't going to be quite as close to the equivalent Zeniths as the first two were, though. (In fact, I know green is going to be different - either +1/+1 counters or "until EOT, trample and +1/+1 for each echo counter", probably the latter - and black is likely to be something along the lines of life transfer. Not sure what I'm going to do for white, but I'll get around to that in a couple of days.)
...and then I decided that making black life transfer would make it a little too close to the red member of the cycle, so instead I basically made a one-sided Wave of Terror.
And that's not that good of a card to begin with, so again I'm happy with how it came out.
And... Darksteel Spray making indestructible itself would be cool, right? *facepalm* The worst thing is that I can't decide if it's worst from a game perspective or from a flavor one...
Damn it, keep voting for the people who are beating me. Who knew the cards I like would tend to be popular?
@Ink-Treader:
Haruspex
Sorcery (U)
As an additional cost to cast Haruspex, sacrifice a creature.
Scry X, where X is the power of the creature sacrificed to cast Haruspex. The future hides strength, and within strength lies the future.
I am utterly shocked this word has never been used for a card name.
I would have snap voted for this if it drew a card; it would have been far from broken (see Preordain) and situationally pretty damn awesome.

You're certainly right. It might of even been able to get away with instant speed. Well, that's what I get for not spending the time thinking about it. I stand by my statement that I'm shocked that it hasn't been used as a card name though.
I didn't read any of the other submissions for today before I submitted my card... I guess we get to vote on two three-mana white creatures with defender and flash tomorrow.

Yeah, today I just felt like answering the question "What would a backwards Ball Lightning look like?".
Are we encouraged to answer the question? I guess I'm pretty new!
If you feel like answering it, go ahead. Designing reversed versions of well-known cards is usually a fun way to come up with an entry if you're running short on ideas, though.
I noticed that this morning after I made it last night.
Ack. Why must that be so easy to forget!? (It was supposed to be 2/2... but too little, too late)
Choose one of these judge of creation:
Make Strionic Resonator shine!
You can not grasp the true form of Ashiok's attack!
Turn 2 infinite mana with Paradise Mantle and a 1-drop?
It might be a 3-card combo, but that doesn't mean it isn't broken.

That is why you don't design a card in 2 minutes to make sure you get in.
Consider it cost ':1mana::symq:' instead.
