I play mostly limited but I usually vote for cards that bring something new and exciting to the table without horribly increasing complexity or being too powerful.
I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.
I really do predict this to be our worst rare in set award winner. I'd be happier opening a jar of eyeballs, so I think anything worse is highly unlikely. This card wont just have zero constructed potential, but not be significantly better than a mass of ghouls in a draft.
I think all my most popular submissions felt like strong standard or modern cards.
Like the green red ghost quarter guy?
Anyway I play mainly limited now when I can. I got back into the game by drafting m13 and boy was gatecrash a nice surprise too. I stopped playing constructed formats around time spiral but I like to think I still design with that kind of power level in mind.
I think I can sorta gauge that still because I'm used to playing with constructed level cards from all the cubing I've done and how interested in the format I am.
I've been put on probation for the month because I voted for myself. I didn't realize this wasn't allowed, since it doesn't say so in the rules. (In fact, I assumed you got 2 votes so you can vote for yourself and someone else).
The point is: I've voted for myself in every single poll this month, but today is the only time that I've been called out on it. In the interest of fairness, can I just be removed from the game this month and start again in June?

You should specify "tap a permanent you control" unless you are planning on Gigadrowseing their whole board for free. You should also specify what zone you're putting a card from onto the top of your library; right now I have no idea where the card is coming from.
Overall, I dislike this card, but somebody might like it so whatever.
Oops, I meant "you control" and "from your hand". Thank you for this...
...It does. Odd, I read the rules, but I didn't see it.
Please remove me from the leaderboard. I won't post cards for the rest of the month.
Don't worry about it. One of the unstated "rules" is that if I screw up (for example, not noticing something and then not enforcing the rule) and nobody else catches it, it's like it didn't happen. (I try to catch as much as I can, but self-voting happens so rarely that I don't normally look for it.)
So you're fine for the rest of the month as long as you don't self-vote again.
Judgment :4mana::symw::symw:
Sorcery (R)
Destroy all creatures.
At the beginning of your upkeep, if Judgment is in your graveyard and you control a plains and a swamp, transform it and return it to your hand. "The Shan pantheon looked upon the world, judging it inadequate..."
///
Anathema :5mana::symb::symb:
Sorcery (R)
Put all creature cards in all graveyards onto the battlefield under your control. They are black and are zombies in addition to their other colors and types. Exile Anethema. "...and remade it in their own terrible image."
I don't think a transform card can be transformed in your hand. The rules seem to specify they must be permanents. You could have it return as an enchantment with that ability as its ETB effect, but that would look pretty weird I'd imagine.
Black_Megatog: As far as your card in today's poll, I suspect its mana-producing ability would work out better (in terms of "how cleanly does this read") if it were just "T, Reveal the top card of your library: Add one mana of any of the revealed card's colors to your mana pool."
As it stands, the only real difference is that your card adds mana when the top card of your library is Ghostfire, while this wording adds mana if it's Dryad Arbor or a colored card with no mana cost (but not for Ghostfire, since Ghostfire is colorless with a colored mana symbol).

I based the wording of my card off of Charmed Pendant. I actually was working towards something closer to your wording but I couldn't come up with anything that didn't sound clunky.
Yeah, Charmed Pendant is a mess. (Not quite as bad as Ice Cauldron, but bad enough.)
Technically, I think the ability also needs the "Activate this ability only any time you could cast an instant." timing restriction just in case your top-of-library card is colorless.
(Also, another possible wording, based on Meteor Crater - though this still requires the timing restriction - is "Choose a color the revealed card is. Add one mana of that color to your mana pool." I suspect that's probably the wording that would be used at this point if your card were to be printed by Wizards.)
Re: the misvote issue yesterday involving Black_Megatog and the "oops, I thought I voted... can I fix it now and vote for eplkewell": unfortunately, voting is considered to be finalized when I post the next day's thread. I'll handle any corrections that come up before that time, however.
MDeham: Note that your cycle is far and above the worst mana stones ever made. 3 stones at worst produce two colours, at best produce any colour and have an additional ability. Being able only to very conditionally produce one colour of mana perhaps would be properly costed at 0

Yeah I was gonna say something about that and the Doomed Necromancer this time around but I have faith in the internet to come up with any criticism I can when I can't be bothered.

Yeah, whoops. Not sure why I had it that conditional on the first two cards.
I fixed the red one to what it's actually supposed to be, though. Even though it's still only producing one color of mana, now it produces a lot of mana if you're willing to hold off for few triggers first, which I think is why I made it conditional in the first place.
Also I think I'm supposed to get +3 from last round not +2.
You got the only vote from Lethal Upkeep, and since all improper votes (single votes, any votes from self-voters assuming I actually notice because we don't get very many people self-voting, and people voting three or more times, which is also fairly rare - I'd say it's like 70% people not voting, 25% people only voting once, and 5% other misvotes) get removed entirely from scores, that dropped you to +2.
I believe the reason we do it that way is to give people an incentive to complain at people who manage to screw up the simple process of "vote for exactly two people, neither of whom are yourself". (It used to be "vote for one person who isn't yourself", and... well, I know I linked to the discussion of the change to two votes a few pages back.)
Only reason I didn't vote for Sir Karn's lamb is that it should be restricted to redirect only spells targeting creatures you control, so you can't use it (unflavourfully) to steal your opponent's auras and Giant Growths.
