"Pokémon Black 2 & Pokémon White 2, otherwise known as Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 are the second set of games of the long anticipated fifth generation of Pokémon. These games are due for release in Japan in June 2012 and are sequels to Pokémon Black & White, running on the Nintendo DS. Not much is currently known about these games but they feature Kyurem's alternate forms within them; Black Kyurem in Black 2 and White Kyurem in White 2.
Pokémon Black 2 & White 2 are set within the Unova region 2 years after the events of Pokémon Black and Pokémon White, and as such, a lot has changed in the region. Areas have been renovated such as Route 4 while others have undergone drastic changes. The game begins in a previously inaccessible part of Unova to the southwest as you take control of a character who lives in Aspertia City, with their childhood rival. There are various other new areas in Unova, with their own new Gyms and Gym Leaders.
Unlike Pokémon Black & White, Black 2 & White 2 feature a Pokédex that contains Pokémon from various other regions of the game, with the dex having 300 Pokémon within it before the National Pokédex is obtained, making it the biggest regional Pokédex.
The games can be played on any model of DS and 3DS, however they contain a region lock on DSi and 3DS models"
It's awesome. New story, same but new world at the same time. Old pokemons included. New Gym Leaders. Pokémon World Tournament. What's not to love?
And my old ds just got its lifespan stretched.
Truthfully, I'm excited only because it's a new Pokemon story. I liked Black/White because the graphics were fresh and some of the new Pokemon were kind of cool only because they were new. But now I think they're definitely the worst ones ever, and the Black/White gameplay really wasn't fresh.
But still... I'll get them, just like all the other Pokemon games since I was a little kid.
(And by old Pokemon, do you mean I can catch a Ponyta?)
About Frox: for nearly 10 years, Frox has been helping women look good and feel great in easy-fit, mix-and-match, and work-to-weekend with just a few pieces by helping them make the right choices when it comes to clothing and accessories.
While it had some highlights (I thought the story was good) BW was probably one of the weaker games in regards to the new Pokemon. It had some good ones like Chandalar, but it also had a lot that I didn't really want to play. Also the lack of new Eeveelutions disappointed me. So hopefully the inclusion of a lot of old pokemon will help as I really liked the cities and stories.
Though I have to say the game is much better when I did my all Eeveelution run.
B/W's biggest flaw was you were flipping from OU/UU to NU quality pretty much all the time when it came to pokemon. So you either steamrolled or were given hell, and only Elesa or Ghetsis were really in a position to do that to you because of type disadvantage (unless you had a drilbur) or that Hydreigon. Some of the abilities were way too good, as well - Prankster in particular. The Musketeers were too strong for how quickly available they were. It's like taking a Ho-Oh or Lugia to the elite 4 in HG/SS. Just way too good.
I liked the new pokemon in Black and White, honestly. A lot of them (Especially the crocodiles) remind me of Red and Blue's design style. I certainly prefer them to Diamond/Pearl's batch of half-baked evolutions, pre-evolutions (WHY DO THESE EXIST? WHY?), and pokemon. And unlike Gold and Silver, you actually get to play with the new Pokemon right out the gate.
What I didn't like as much was the increased linearity. You can't go anywhere, and this wouldn't be so much of a problem if the earlier parts of the game had more Pokemon variety, but they don't.

How are any of those 'not old' pokemon when they were in the very first generation games ಠ_ಠ
Maybe he's trying to say that they don't have that classic feel to them, that they could easily fit in with the weirdly designed 4th and 5th gen Pokemon.
I think he's saying he wants more Pokemon along the lines of Pidgey or Rattata, than Magnemite or Magmar. More simple, classic ones...?
(It makes more sense in my head, because looking at ^that sentence is actually making me more confused.)

Magnemite was good, as were the Eeveelutions. Glad to see those back. Strong, but not overpowering with Espeon and Vaporeon. I hope we can get new starters, the gen 5 ones were just not great.

Sorry for the lack of clarity. I meant it should have just more 1st gen ones, probably just because those are the ones I loved as a kid. Never really cared for the newer incarnations of Pokemon.

But there are other people who will be playing this game who had Generation 2, or Generation 3 as the incarnations of Pokemon they played as kids. They would want to see more of those ones, right?
That's the thing about nostalgia; it doesn't just stop at the first installment of a franchise.

This is what I like to see.
Though I still have my Weavile from HG on my current White. Just my favorite poke.
Grimer/Muk is also awesome, glad to see them here.
I can't wait for the game.
Legacy: Pox | Tiny Leaders: Thalia Hatebears
I would only consider a handful of those to be truly "old" pokemon. Needs more gen 1 pl0x.
Hopefully I'll have a DS by then.
