In Europe the English Zombie Apocalypse goes for 2 €/each, with spanish versions being cheaper and German ones on the same level. The price will drop, but in three months the english copies will have a significant premium compared to the spanish, portugese ad italian versions. (And somebody will want double the price for english copies for French ones...)
Multiple languages makes getting playsets pretty hard.
But for reprinted Mana Drain as a mythic... I'd guess the price for one would be around 60 $, as there are way too mant italian Mana Drains on people's binders, so there would be another source to help with the demand.
Judge Mana Drains or Forces on other hand would stay around the 100$ mark rather easily, unless the print runs would be increased due to more GP's. There has been some talk on DCI-Judge-L on the need to change the schedule for foil packs due to the additional GP's, so there might be some move in the amount of foils printed also.
But what would printing a full art Mutavault in the next FtV:Realms do to the Champs version. I kind of doubt the 500$ each price tag would be sustainable. My guess would be a drop to 175$.
I also want to speculate on the possibility of getting one or more Guru basics foiled with Realms. With just one, they could imply that there will be four more FtV:Lands-sets at some point. I see this as great marketing and would try to get about 10 of each foil. I could see the price being very similar to AN Mountain in the long run.
Nothing they print in Ftv realms with the god-awful foiling they use could possibly be as pimp as the full art mutavault. Even if mutavault got reprinted in the Ftv set I don't see it affecting the price of the champs promo much if at all.
There's a special clause in there regarding this subforum. It won't come here often, mind you.

This is just an FYI for those of you who sell on eBay.. this fall pics are going to be required to be 500 px on one side. A standard gatherer image is 310 pix, so get ready to resize or do 4 card montages of all your MTG cards.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
If the art was the same, I think it would affect the price of the champs promo; few players would recognize the 'specialness' of a non-foil version, lowering significantly the 'pimp value'. Depending on how many are available, the price could easily drop further than has been speculated.
Also, thanks for the explanation of why the thread's here; kind of a neat concept.
What do people think about the price of the Game Day Zombie Apocalypse long term? It seems to be finishing around $5/playset on eBay currently. Could casual pressure push it upwards due to being zombie themed (not to mention full art and shiny)?
The art on it is amazing. I picked one up for EDH in the future and I could see it eventually becoming $5+ for that reason.
I guess WotC learned the lesson of not printing anything Constructed playable as promos. First FNM promos, then removing the MPR, then Prerelease promos, and now even the Foil Game Day promos are casual oriented.
If I wanted to play creatures turning sideways at the kitchen table I'd go play YGO, thank you very much. I want playable promos, and I don't care if they are expensive, as long as they're playable. Emeria Angel and Black Sun's Zenith are very nice cards that I use every day. Fighting 40 people for a top8 standing and getting this waste of cardboard is quite underwhelming. Hell if it weren't for the prize packs I'd pick the non-top8 Strangleroot Geist over this one.

$5 a playset sounds cheap. I would trade $5 in card(s) value for a single MINT copy. It has great flavor and zombie afficianados will want at least a single copy.

PS-What's with all of this of "Mana Drain at mythic?"

Good looking out. Magiccards.info has a height of 445, but this would still require an image editing program which adds up in time.
Makes you wonder though if a established site would start re-sizing. Might be a gradual thing, starting with new sets and working backwards when there is free time to do so.

If they really wanted to they could always run a batch resize program on all their images. There are a number of good free muti image resizers available on source forge. Though on the other hand I couldn't see many sites going out of their way to increase their bandwidth consumption on larger images without also increasing resolution.
This would probably be the most expensive card since Jace 2.0.
Counterspell is too powerful to print nowadays. Counterspell with a bonus! Think about enabling a T3 Consecrated Sphinx on the draw by countering their 3-drop. Plus Mana Drain is even more of an auto-4-of then Jace.
In summation.....Star Trek wins a prolonged naval battle against superior, yet less technologically advanced, numbers, with Picard leading the assault, while Kirk takes your soul by laying out Solo and probably his manservant Chewy as well, before impregnating and ditching your Princess.

One assumes it wouldn't be reprinted in a standard legal set (though I wish it would as premium product has the nasty side effect of only being available in foil). And yes it is busted powerful. I wouldn't expect to pick one up for less the $50.
Only in most Magic languages, I do not believe that there are Russian or Korean copies. But there are chinese and Japanese ones. This was started (in Europe) with Innistrad Game Day.
In Europe there are English, Italian, Spanish, Portugese, German and French copies. (source) The chepest portugese copy is currently 2 €.
In Europe the english copies get a premium after the first wave of sales and both italian and spanish copies go pretty cheap.
As for Mana Drain. I would really not like playing against Mana Drains in standard for two years and in Modern for who knows how many years. If it was printed in a special sets, a mythic does not really differ from a 1-of common in rarity. You always get one, when you open the set. In effect the sets price would become slightly higher than Mana Drains and depending of the print run either swamp the market for a while (Elspeth) or the set prices would climb a lot balancing the market. If the art was good and the foiling done well (Not the FTV-method, which bends really badly) I would imagine a 100+$ unopened sets within 6 months of release.

Why should Mana Drain be a mythic? Mana Drain is a utility card, and utility cards aren't supposed to be mythics.
To be fair, that is a "stack manipulation" spell which is suitable for Mythic.

It would be mythic for just one simple reason....it's the most broken card in the history of the game, I believe a guy named Richard Garfield said that, but hey I could be wrong.
Oh and it's not a Utility card, it's a tempo card (say it with me...TEMPO), far from utility.

Tempo cards can also be utility cards you know. As long as they fill a universal function (which Mana Drain does, it would be a go-to counterspell), then it absolutely fits the definition of a utility card.
Just got to say, you've definitely earned distinction as an MTGS hero

Some people are asking crazy prices, but they look to be worth about $50-60 right now. I guess they could go up a little long term.
