January 19 was the date of my actuary exam, before which I wasn't putting much attention or effort into this. If you think my nitpicking over the word 'actually' was a legitimate campaign against Cyouni, OK. But he is confirmed town and that was all I ever had to say about him.
You act like I vote without sufficient reason, but the whole exchange between Rick and Void that you point out is the exact reason for 1) my voting for Void and 2) my FoS on Rick. I haven't wavered from my position that they're potential scum buddies.
I'm not sure how you construe 738 as defending Voxx. If anything you should construe it is a defense for killjoy - I was questioning the bandwagon on him which Voxx started. My reason for voting Void in that post was that he, as my scummiest read, jumped on the Voxx bandwagon for exactly no reason.
Void has learned something in an ongoing game and can't talk about that when Rick asks him to explain.
I don't see how that gives you a reason to suspect them.
It's indeed Killjoy you were defending, not Voxx. I misread that. :embarass:
When you realised that the Killjoy wagon was wrong, what were your reasons for thinking so?
I never suspected Killjoy of being scum. It's not like it was a flash of insight. I stated I was unwilling to support that lynch. Sure, scum could try to gain town points by refusing to lynch someone they knew to be town, but given that a lynch was pretty much looking inevitable (I believe he was as L-2) I think if I were scum it would be in my best interest to fly under the radar by voting him along with everyone else and ending the day early to off some more towns.

Seems like you put a lot of thought on what good scum play would be at that point?
There's only one explanation for never suspecting Killjoy of being scum: you knew for a fact that he's not.
Or swishh saw something that the town didn't or he decided blindly/guessed. There is more than one option.
I had thought killjoy to be scum and when Seppel launched his Day Kill on killjoy I had the sudden revalation that killjoy might flip town based on interactions at the time.
Why didn't you point out my stance since it was behaviorally worse than how swishh behaved?

What interactions were these, exactly?
And Rhand, back to you: Why don't you scum read Void for what are the exact reasons you scum read me (lack of reasons for voting). Reasons I should point out you have since retracted as legitimate. Your vote on me, however, remains unretracted.
Day 2 would be much more beneficial to town if we could focus on Voxx and Void. All this fuss over me isn't getting us anywhere.
Seppel
I was merely pointing out to Rhand that his reasoning wasn't correct. I'm not focusing on swishh so much. I'm far more interested in AlphaInsidious and ganderin_dan.
1. Voxx, why did you kill Anak? Not once did you vote for him day 1. The only time you mentioned he could be scum is in 401. In 581 you list many other stronger scum reads. Why didn't you kill one of them?
2. Who killed Cyouni/Wessel? And why? Wessel was incredibly town, so I wouldn't be surprised if that was the scum kill. The only person I remember being on Cyouni consistently was JeY.
Hi, sorry I went missing. Won't happen again. I'll pick up the activity over the next few days.
Mostly, I'm still voting Tom because I forgot to unvote
You're flavor gaming, Tom. You know that will get you nowhere.
No I don't know because I haven't played in enough games to know if stabbing is uncommon or usually refers to a specific role. Hence me asking. I thought I stated that.
In light of taking the rest of the week off, unvote
Being in the honors program at college, just undertook an intensive project and got assigned a group midterm to work on Tuesday so I won't have any time to contribute much until after this weekend. I already PM'd Monarch as to not get prodded or replaced.
You are very eager to know why you are name-claiming, but not interested enough to refuse Seppel. Why are you so interested in appeasing the request of one person?
Because the request came from town, so complying is helping a townie to further their understanding of the game. That can only help the town. I'm eager to know why simply because it bothers me that people are seeing things that I'm not, and it's a bit frustrating to me that I can't figure it out.

@swishh: I am not tunneling you. But you do keep on pinging my scumdar.
There's a difference between thinking that someone is town and never suspecting someone to be scum.
I need to reread yet again. I have AI marked as town and I'm very surprised that he's on his way to become the lynch.
But then again, I had LoT on my town list as well.
AI always has weak D1s. We should give him at least until mid D2 to impress us.
What are you classifying as weak, exactly? You're pretty much getting what you can expect from me in general...waiting me out isn't going to make me a prolific poster.
That being said, it's a good thing you put on your shades since I suppose it's my task now to blind you with my excellence?
AlphaInsidious may have weak Day 1's, but this game is an exception to that rule.
How so? I don't understand what you're implying...
Clearly you think I'm scum, so then how does that line up with this game being an exception to my usual meta?
On a wide level, I don't support a mass name claim without confirmation that someone I'm reading as town has mechanical reason for us to do so.
Namely because I've designed games, as well as seen games that can greatly swing in mafia or an SK's favor after all names are out in the open.
Not to mention that one possible town role that would benefit the town from a mass name claim is already dead. That lowers the odds of it actually helping.
On a personal level, I'm not very far away from having to claim anyway, so obviously I'd be a different story.

If so, I think it could indicate a scum/scum conversation, where Tresserhorn slips while talking with his buddy about a townie.
But I'm wary of talking more about it and I'd like to see Tresserhorn respond to it.
For those who are not voting AlphaInsidious you need to be.
This is not a new revelation; it's been brought up already against me.
Though it is worth noting that I was very much cluing into LoT's acceptance of Seppel as town when that conversation started. His obviously informed response was exactly what I expected/wanted to see, and I don't believe it mattered who he was talking to, since he gave me that same impression without talking to me specifically, but put off that vibe in general.

Hi!
I posted yesterday. Mostly I'm waiting for Voxx to show up, though.
Me too.
There's only one explanation for never suspecting Killjoy of being scum: you knew for a fact that he's not.

You're interactions with Voxx not being the Vig.
Seppel

We should lynch AlphaInsidious first.

Until these are answered:
Unvote
Since if I don't have time to post by then, it means I'll be out of the country for a few months. ****'s getting real at work.
Apologies for inconvenience and such.
I still prefer my vote on AI, then.
I assume that's why you're voting for me instead of Void.
Lynch kicking is another alternative.
AlphaInsidious may have weak Day 1's, but this game is an exception to that rule.
@people: please respond to my question about the 'stabbed'
Mostly, I'm still voting Tom because I forgot to unvote

I do wonder why you care so much about my vote, though. You're not exactly in any danger of being lynched or anything.

I support it, 100%.
I'm George Washington, *****es.
For those who are not voting AlphaInsidious you need to be.
One person agreeing, a massclaim does not make.
breaksbrakes.Dude what the hell. Don't steal my credit.
I can't think of a reason against a mass claim and also support it. I think the most suspect should go first though.
@swishh: I am not tunneling you. But you do keep on pinging my scumdar.

I need to reread yet again. I have AI marked as town and I'm very surprised that he's on his way to become the lynch.
But then again, I had LoT on my town list as well.
We have enough information about role names to feel better about questionable town and possibly find some scum.
Plus there isn't a reason not to that I can think of.
What are you classifying as weak, exactly? You're pretty much getting what you can expect from me in general...waiting me out isn't going to make me a prolific poster.

We should still lynch Eron. Do I need to actually make a case? He stopped being under any pressure, and vanished.
Hm.
Unvote for a sec.
Give me a comparison of the people who were voting Eron, then bailed onto Void vs. Killjoy vs. LoT.
I have a post where I started that on D1. I appreciate you completing it.
I missed this:
Do you not town read Seppel, Alpha?
Vote: AlphaInsidious
And I do have a mechanical reason, for that matter. There is a restriction to my vig.
Yeah - you should make a case.
I'm back now by the way. Full catch up post later.
Yeah, I wasn't Cythare...I'm not a replacement in this game.
Nope, that would be Ganderin_Dan.
That's all I was looking for. I am Henry Clay.
