Really? I'm town and I still care what people think of me.
It just seems odd that they would question voxx about it when he's far from the only person to town read me.
In answer to your question, my questioning Voxx had nothing to do with my own thoughts of your alignment, I just wanted to know Voxx's reasoning for his read on you changing.
You are coming across rather worried for something so little.
I'm not worried - just trying to breed conversation.
It's interesting to see who jumped on voxx's killjoy bandwagon, which I'm beginning to think is a mistake.
I meant to quote one of Tom's posts where he's asking if Seppel is Hitler and replying with "please stop with this," but I forgot to quote one, so just pretend I did.
also I'm super tempted to just start using my main account at this point. I keep forgetting that I can only phone post on that account.................
RR. You're barking up the wrong tree. I'm sure you recognize this tree, it has a sister planted in Checks & Balances.
I actually don't know what you mean. Are you implying that I am scum, like I was in C&B? Can you please expand?
You don't find his recent play almost identical to C&B?
I'd have to go back and reread. If you'll allow me to be medium-sized for a minute, the shift in perspective from my side means that I'm looking at everyone very differently.
Regardless of your support, though, I still want him to respond to my post 754 before I even consider moving my vote.
If you'll allow me to be medium-sized for a minute, the shift in perspective from my side means that I'm looking at everyone very differently.
Now it's me not understanding what you mean.
I was scum then, so I was interested in twisting people's words, and was paying attention to people in a different way than I am this game. So, I don't really see play similarities right now, no.
The "medium-sized" scumtell is when someone makes a point of mentioning that they are a townie. The name comes from an Order of the Stick cartoon where the psychopathic halfling is walking around on stilts, disguised as a human, and greets a paladin with "Hello, fellow medium-sized creature! How are you enjoying being medium-sized, like me, on this lovely day?" It's basically a recognition of the fact that townies will just act townie, while scum will point out that they are acting townie.
Green doesn't indicate a town read. He and Tom are green because of their claimed abilities: Voxx claims to have shot Anak; Tom is a double voter. Vig/SK/whatever he may be, I'm not going to put Voxx in the town or scum list yet. As for Tom, double voting is pretty potent for a scum role. Not going to say it's impossible though.
Alpha is green because I didn't want to leave him off my list.

You are very eager to know why you are name-claiming, but not interested enough to refuse Seppel. Why are you so interested in appeasing the request of one person?
Because the request came from town, so complying is helping a townie to further their understanding of the game. That can only help the town. I'm eager to know why simply because it bothers me that people are seeing things that I'm not, and it's a bit frustrating to me that I can't figure it out.
I'm also bothered by AI conveniently catching CptT's 3/4 of the town slip soon after Tyzmo was killed, though of course it is possible that AI is town that didn't see it yada yada.

Not really much to respond to here. I'm not a prolific poster - never have been and likely never will be. I do make sure to keep fluff posts to a minimum though - mainly limited to the RVS - so I think your comment on that is a mis-characterization.
When I do post, I endeavor to make them count since my mafia time is scarce.
Your first spoilered note is what now looks a slip from LoT, while I was questioning his motive for claiming. Nothing to say here really that I didn't back then. I saw it as strange how easily LoT backed down from not wanting to claim and pressed him on it.
That Wessel saw it as a scum/scum conversation is incorrect, but that's not an accusation that's possible to debunk which means individual judgment on my play has to be used.
As to the 2nd note, I sure hope you don't have the misfortune of mixing up 2 players' names. Wouldn't want this glass house to break.

Maybe we have different definitions of fluff, but I was pointing out that not only do you have just 18 posts (the smallest number of anyone that hasn't died or replaced out/in... and some of the people that died on day 1 still have more than you) but some of those posts are content-less, such as the following spoiled ones:

Love that OMGUS.
That's not an OMGUS. That's calling you out for jumping on Rhand's vote.
Oh yeah Rick is voting me too.
What does Rhand voting you have to do with me voting you?
It's a lot easier for scum to vote a town when town is already doing it without looking scummy donchathink?
Or other towns could feel the same way about the votes, say to themselves 'yeah that Swishh doesn't look quite right' and place their vote to draw pressure as well. I agree that scum could easily sink their teeth into a meal that's been already prepared for them but towns want to find scum just as much as other town. This seems like a convenient way to make a claim that whoever votes for you next must be scum.
Rhand why are you questioning Seppel's being town? You really think scum would be able to execute daily?
I do. It's a difficult role to use in my opinion; but it adds a bit of diversity. From what I've read, the only 'killing' that's made is a lynch for the day and a single nightkill afterward, so this 'vig' stuff is all new to me, but if a scum dayvig existed that could very easily be played wrong and if people just assume that scum can't kill during the day then the scum automatically win.
Oh damn I got confused with his questioning JeY, one of my strongest town reads. Forget what I said about Rhand and Seppel.
You're wondering why they're questioning me but not asking why I'm not as strong of a town read in their opinion as I am there. Is it fair to say that this doesn't line up very well?
There was a lot of activity this weekend, and though I'll have to post about void later (as I keep saying ;_; ) Swishh's activity has me raising my eyebrow the most. If he is town, he'd better start making it more believable. There's a little consistency in his play but then it goes all over the place and I'm not quite sure I like it. He's also a little too worried about his reputation, which also makes me uncomfortable.
Well JeY I'm pretty disappointed in your vote. If I were scum wouldn't I try harder to get a townie lynched when it was looking pretty inevitable anyway? The only 'worry' I have about my reputation is that those I perceive to be my fellow towns are voting me. If my scum reads keep voting me I don't really care - hence the reservation to claim until more of my town reads vote to lynch me.
After reconsidering, even if I don't end up getting lynched today (it's starting to look that way unfortunately), claiming isn't going to help. Scum will definitely kill me tomorrow night if I claim and I doubt it would keep me from getting lynched anyway. All I can do is urge town to vote for someone who should be much more obvious scum (Void, Rick, and I'm beginning to believe Tom or Alpha).
Regarding the Voxx issue... I don't fully understand why a town-alligned vig would aim for Anak. My only conclusion is that he's either a severely misguided town or SK. Either way, I think we would be better off without him.
@JeY: What are your thoughts on the interactions I put in the spoiler of post 818?
At first I wanted to write "I don't understand it in the slightest, actually!" But then I read it again... and then I read it again... and one last time: Alright, I think I get it now.
...Nevermind. But if I had to answer... I think it's LoT starting a train on Swishh? And then he votes back? Eh... Alright, I give up: help me out on this one a little?
