Well since we're obviously not lynching the mod, Unvote, Unvote, Unvote, Unvote.
Zionite, can you point me to a scum game of yours? The most recent, please. I want to see if you blatantly do scummy things like you're doing in this game.

Cyan opens the door and steps out. "I am furious right now, but I still feel compelled to help. I can't help it. KCC is a bad guy. Like the ultimate bad guy. His behavior has been thoroughly scummy all game, and he has now exhibited a daykill. The daykiller has been the SK in both other games in this series, and is a role that Xyre has flatly stated he loves. KCC is the SK. Vote KCC, Macius Proxy Vote KCC."
Cyan beings to walk back to his desk, but stops to address everyone on the way. "I still fully expect the people that own the names that I revealed to come forward today. I will be thoroughly displeased if this does not happen." He kicks Guardman in the chest one more time for good measure, and then walks away.
I'm tried of keeping up the role play. Basically, I have a multi-stage AWC. The first part is to have 2/3 of the players starting the game place a vote on me. The next stage is obvious, but something best kept under wraps for now (since it's evident other people know about it, and don't want it exposed).
I'm also being very clear in my intentions here: I don't give a **** about the game until my first win condition is met. I can actually lose the game without dying before then, and it leaves me less than even a little invested.
Confirming there are multi-stage win conditions should be enough for now. Also I would say archonoid has been the scummiest so far IMO.
[OOC: You are optionally role-playing? I wonder what it's like to have a choice in the matter there. Though to be fair, I'm having some fun with it.]
Cyan looks at EP. "I don't see how you can argue that Archonoid has been scummier than Guardman, Zionite, or KCC. There was someone else to, but I forget just now. I haven't found Archonoid scummy at all incidentally, and I just played in a game where he was scum. What about his behavior bothers you?" Also, as a kindred spirit, I'm willing to help you along the path of your WC. Hopefully I'll be able to call upon you to return the favor later, should I need to. Unvote, Vote Emo Pinata.
Cyan rages, unabated. "I did meet the town halfway, by giving them that information in the first place! I could have very easily kept it to myself. The guys would show up as bodies eventually. And while I didn't wait for everyone to implicitly agree, enough people posted without showing even the slightest bit of opposition that I put my information forward in good faith. That good faith needs to be repaid. And why should I wait? Just because you say so? You are likely neutral yourself; why should I, or anyone, listen to YOU?"
Cyan spins on his heel and storms off. He sits down harshly, and bumps an inkwell, which spills onto a scroll of paper he had been poring over. Cyan stares at this dumbly, unmoving, unblinking. A minute passes. Cyan snaps to, and rushes toward Guardman. With a mighty effort, Cyan throws Guardman to the ground. Inconsolable in his rage, he kicks Guardman savagely, repeatedly, while screaming "NOW-LOOK-WHAT-YOU-MADE-ME-DO-WHY-COULDNT-YOU-JUST-KEEP-YOUR-FILTHY-MOUTH-SHUT! THAT INFORMATION WAS VITAL TO MY EFFORTS TO FIND THE MEETING PLACE OF THE BILDERBERG GROUP AND WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO BE RECOVERED NOW AND IT IS ALL YOUR GODDAMNED FAULT!"
Cyan stops, breathing heavily. He shoves his way through the crowd toward the nearest door and locks himself in the next room. Unvote, Macius Proxy Unvote.
Guardman gets up and wipes the dust off himself. "Temper, temper Cyan. Though I must admit I could've probably gotten a better beating from my grandma, and she's in a wheelchair.
"We must be paragon about this. Obviously anyone not working with you is your enemy, but you have to take a long term view on this. Tomorrow is but another day, and if you can't wait until then, well this is going to be a very short conversation."
Guardman takes a deep breath. "But to be paragon we must not get ahead of ourselves and we must not burn bridges for the sake of pretty fires. So unless you have actual proof of me being anti-town, non-town, or neutral (since you've implied you think I am at least one of those), please stop wildly throwing mud. Especially that slop from Glendale, that stuff reeks more than the City Council kissing Gary Bettman's ass."
I'm tried of keeping up the role play. Basically, I have a multi-stage AWC. The first part is to have 2/3 of the players starting the game place a vote on me. Guardman pulls out a flask and takes a swig. "Well since I want something from you and you obviously want something from me how about we meet halfway.
@Cyouni: My flavor is that I am a campaign manager for a canadate who decided to badmouth a large voting bloc in a close race. Something about an ice elephant was in there. If this isnt enough, I'll get you a little more after I wake up and take care of a few things in morning, i just wanted to mainly wanted AE to know I wasnt ignoring him.
Running a campaign is hard.
"Tell me everything you know about what Macius says in this post as he implies strongly that he either works for you or against you. If you give me all you know then I'll throw a vote your way." Guardman looks down at his flask. "Hell I'll even throw in Old Betsy here. Won't find a nicer flask within the state."
I haven't found Archonoid scummy at all incidentally, and I just played in a game where he was scum. What about his behavior bothers you?"
His posts are a lot of lecturing... a lot of lecturing. He's asking some good questions, but they're fairly obvious; and most of his contribution seems to be trying to be helpful before most anything.
To be fair to archonoid, I thought he was also being paranoid in a away tordeck isn't - and I read tordeck as being cagey but meaning well.
I'm also not fully caught up diving deep into posts. #305 is where I'm at as far as what I'd call quality analysis. I'm continuing to read right now.
Well since we're obviously not lynching the mod, Unvote, Unvote, Unvote, Unvote.

Powerful Wizards Mafia two years ago, incidentally hosted by RobRoy. It's definitely been awhile since I've been scum.

So wait, your reasoning for thinking KCC is the SK is...hold it...gaming the mod? So why isn't my reasoning valid? I thought you'd at least have some behavioral analysis behind this.

Just 2/3rds? That's not bad. I don't mind fulfilling this.
@dan: I think Macius is town and the rush to lynch him is bad. We also don't have any info, so I felt like we're lynching blind.
@E_P: I have a condition attached to my win con. Another player has to be alive for me to win. Obviously I'd rather not say who. This is why I was confused at first.
@E_P: I have a condition attached to my win con. Another player has to be alive for me to win. Obviously I'd rather not say who. This is why I was confused at first.
Do you know the alignment of the person attached to your win condition?
Also the more I think about for a person who wants votes so much, EP really did skirt my question hard. I think there is something more to this EP-Macius relationship than I first thought. Will ponder this when I am more coherent.
Hi guys, I've bee skimming the thread and want to say some things.
a)Cyan's "tell me the names of two certain people and I will help town" is incredibly suspitious. I get the same feeling gman is getting, he's a hitman like on Ged's normal. I'm against giving him the names in a plate.
b)Macius is a newish player, I've played as scum and town with him before and he plays totally diff, I believe I can easily discover his aligment when I reread him.
c)Xyre cannot be scum, actually I find it pretty impossible Xyre's a SK too because he has perfect information and all. Lynching him and/or shooting him is a waste and probably helps scum agenda. Actually this whole thing reming me of Social engineer mafia where I could hack the mod and make him says thing that benefitted my team. I think someone may be controlling Xyre to disrupt us and deflect conversation. I say we ignore Xyre at least for a day, if strange things happen in the night and Xyre continue participatting in the game we can reevaluate tomorrow.
d)Tordeck is probably telling the truth about his role, don't know if that makes him town or no.
Now back to diablo.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
The game is not being dumbed down. Control is doing fine; Draw-Go is not the only kind of control. Aggro is doing fine; Red Deck Wins is not the only kind of aggro. Creature combat is an important core concept and belongs in every color. Mythic rarity is not destroying the game. People whine too much for no good reason. Magic is more popular than ever, so keep calm, brew some decks and play some damn cards.
The short man runs up, hands hanging from his chest like a Kangaroo as he hunches over in a non-threatening manner.
"Excusing me for my impertinence, masters, but the moderator of a mafia game himself having a role is ridiculous. As in, the game is ruined if the moderator actually has a win condition himself. Forgive me, masters, but it seems obvious to me that this is either a player in this game that is speaking through the moderator's mouth, or, less likely though it may be, it is Xyre just ****ing with us."
The man looks around, scrutinizing the mood of the room. Seeing nobody winding up to strike him, he continues.
"Also, while this one has been very busy with work, Mashters, this one thinks that there is no way in hell that we should continue just pushing people to claim. Thish time, letsh think about it a bit more. I don't trust Macius at all, but it is CYAN that is behind every one of these horribad wagons. He himself needs pressure putting on him.
The man, realizing he has pushed his luck too far, melts away into the background once more.
[OOC]He didn't even respond to my comment regarding his hypocritical behavior so far this game. Can we please stop being led by Cyan? He's the loudest player, hands down, that MTGS has ever seen. It may seem easier just to go with it, but Cyan is not always right. In fact, in my opinion, he's wrong, more often than not. Why people always seem to listen to him is a mystery to me. He's blustering so hard this game, but so few are calling him on it. That isn't right.[/OOC]

Then if we lynch the mod, don't we remove that unknown?

I agree - I have no intention of letting Cyan lead us around, especially when his own interests are first and foremost. I am, however, feeling the Zionite lynch, I just have to read some of Powerful Wizard Mafia to see if I'm seeing there what I'm seeing here.

Cyan's pushing on him made me go back and look at what Cyan was getting at. I went back and I wanted to know more information. So, I made sure that my vote wouldn't put him at a place where he could be lynched, but would push him closer to claim range.
I'm not buying it. You wanted to get a claim out of him but when he does claim you put it out to the town if they would claim at that time. Painting a scummy scene.

To take anything Cyan says with a grain of salt. As he is a pitbull of a player and though he may think his reads are right you should not fall victim to his cult of personality.
"If" we can in effect get two lynchs today or in fact get to lynches today I would be fine with this plan. But scum comes first. Mod can be dealt with later.
Im the vote manager, I have 2 votes, second one I cant use, but have to give away for any use. Also, something about gaming the voting system and there being "consequences".
Seeing that we know we can quote our Name and Role why would you not do so?
As seeing that confirmed Town are useally the first bodies to hit the floor. I would say no to revealing this info till at which time it is absolutely necessary. Couple this with the fact that this could easily be scumCyan attempting to WIFOM clearing a buddy or two I see no reason that this plan should be done at all.
[quote=ganderin_dan;/comments/10832131]Does nobody else care that both our L-2 wagons have formed quickly, extracted claims, and then stalled with no further discussion?
Pretty sure that there has only been one wagon to get to L-2 and this is a weekend, not everyone is gunna be available to comment on his claim.
I want to make something clear, not just for you but Cyan and the rest of this Sub as well. There is no ill-will between us, at least not from my end. Yes we have not seen eye to eye before on subjects but that is human nature. I respect him being as good a player as he is and will show that respect in my own way in games. But I harbor no animosity towards him and that is a misconception I do not appreciate being thrown about. I do not take what happens in Mafia games out side of the game in question.
If the mod is invested in the game, gets to win or lose, and can kill off players at will with omniscient information, then I for one am going to complain mightily in the Council after the fact and I highly doubt I'll be the only one. Your scenario is simply not credible.
Agreed
You might as well speculate that our role PMs are all lies; it would be a comparable level of bastardry.
"Alright, well, the names that I have are Hanna Kells and Trisha Stern. Once they have come forward, I will explain why KCC is extremely likely to be scum. Also, Unvote"
Not waiting for everyone to check in on this. Bad Cyan.
I'm tried of keeping up the role play. Basically, I have a multi-stage AWC. The first part is to have 2/3 of the players starting the game place a vote on me.
Confirming there are multi-stage win conditions should be enough for now.
Aww but I was enjoying the RP so much lol.
You work with the Town, we can work with you.
Unvote, Vote E_P, Unvote, Vote Zion (good enough for ya or does it actually have to last longer than that?)
I'm working on them, slowly. I'll reiterate my offer that if you want me to explain your character beyond the short blurb, I can, but writing more detailed pieces, as I ultimately intend to do, will take longer.
Not waiting for everyone to check in on this. Bad Cyan.
No its not. Waiting and not revealing them and having Cyan die is just not helpful to the town. Now at least the names are out there. If they come to claim then the town will be set in not mislynching.
Not a town mentality FOS AE
Typically yes. Thats why in games I get on Zindabads case. But in this game, not the case. Which is why I'm telling Zindabad to up his post count.
I know this has been addressed multiple times but it stood out whilst reading through and it wasn't till after I quoted it I saw that so many others picked up on it. VOTE: ZIONITE
1. Dont care anymore (Seriously, Im going to be lynched over words that even I admit were not the best, due to my agitated state. If thats what gets people wrung up quickly, I have no need. If anyone thinks me being angry OOG is a joke, its not. I genuinly wanted to cold clock my friend at the time and im still royally pissed that I cant focus anymore.)
2. Because why not a quad. voter 3. You had the highest point total I was keeping.
Macius - I never saw your point totals explained and in the only post that I saw you having point totals you had three folks tied at 1. So, a) can you explain your point program and b) can you provide the updated totals that would show Iso in the lead?
@ Macius's implosion - last time I saw this happen scum got lynched on D1 (:hi: iso) so I'm gunna go ahead and move my FOS to a full
vote macius
No his claim of having a "double vote" does not auto make him town in my eyes. If a neutral can have 3 I see no reason why in a complex game as this is that scum cant have 2.
The man in rags grins a yellowed, broken-toothed grin.
[OOC]Pssh. What a horrible vote, Tordeck.
An SK will by definition more often kill town than scum. However, if the mafia are winning, the SK will work to try and knock off mafia over town. Because the SK will not be able to win unless he keeps both sides at approximately the same power level.
Scum are scum, as far as I am concerned. They all want townies dead, and that is that.[/OOC]
He throws up his hands. "I just want my case. I'm happy to tear this place down to find it, but I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate that. If they have the case, I'm happy to give them a bullet for their troubles."
Does anyone know for sure that there are items in this game? There is nothing addressing them in the OP and there was in other Xyre games. I'm not asking anyone to reveal that they do have an item, just if anyone can somehow confirm the existence of items.
"It's not the first time, it's either the second or third. I thought about mentioning it much earlier, but didn't want to tip him off, so I just said that there are a couple of people that I wanted to look over. But then he posted some more and I got bored with being subtle. And I do think he is fairly scummy, but I don't want to get into it today. I'm fine with just lynching Macius today. If KCC is bread-crumbing a daykill, I would love to see him prove it, and shooting at the what might be a player-Mod seems like a fantastic way for him to do so."
"Speaking of Macius, can you reveal your name, sir?"
Cyan now addresses the group at large. "Maybe everyone can help decide how to best use some information that I have. I know the names of 2 people that the mod has confirmed to me are town. If they are willing to come forward/the town thinks it the correct course of action, I am willing to reveal their names. Thoughts?"
You ask for thoughts and then reveal them without a consensus or even something resembling a consensus. Does this part of your wincon have to be completed on day 1? If not, why not wait for day 2 as Gman has requested?
Isn't Cyan trying to run up KCC, or have I been reading his past couple of posts wrong?
First off unless Xyre is a neutral, town, scum, or the SK there is no way he can win. The very fact that the mod can "win" is in and of itself paradoxical seeing as the mod has perfect info, that would leave the mod as a role that can only do random things or predetermined things. Seeing as we can deduce via logic and the fact the mod with a true role would be imbalanced in every sense and we have no idea if the mod even has a role at this time.
The other thing is since we have no idea what actions Xyre's role can take if he has one then we could just be wasting a lynch.
Basically your two games worth of info doesn't back-up the fact that we have too little info about Xyre and your wanting to lynch Xyre does come from paranoia and modgamming from his previous games.
Also wasn't the Man in the Armani Suit and NPC good guy in Asphodel Meadows or am I remembering it wrong?
Can Xyre be persuaded to help the town in exchange for his case, if in fact the case is in the game.
How do you know what information lynching Xyre will give us? It's never been done, we have no precedent. Lynching the mod could do anything.
Why would we have the option of lynching the mod if it didn't do anything? At worst, it fizzles, we get flavor, and votes are reset.
My attacks on Xyre are not predicated on a win condition. They're determined by the interests of the town in removing the SK from the game. I'm an advocate of eliminating the top suspect, as I don't see any better targets among the players yet.
If you're top suspect is the Mod, that would mean that the Mod has a wincon. If the mod has a wincon, we are all screwed. While I can understand your desire to lynch the mod based on your previous experiences, this is something that is better suited for a later day if at all.
"Alright, well, the names that I have are Hanna Kells and Trisha Stern. Once they have come forward, I will explain why KCC is extremely likely to be scum. Also, Unvote"
"I don't care what Guardman knows. He is not trustworthy. Though for that matter, neither are you. You are not compromising on your win condition when it comes to Xyre. Unless, you know, you just lied to us earlier(this is exactly what I suspect to be the case, incidentally). I held up my end of the deal. I fully expect the town to do the same. Any backtracking on this would constitute a huge breach of trust to me."
Does the bolded mean that you believe GMan is scum?
Emo_P has mentioned the word stump in his posts several times this game. I believe that he is a stump until he gets to his 2/3 players voting for him. I understand that the word stump is a political term, but it's just old and out of place. He also, IIRC, has not voted yet. Therefore Unvote Zionite, Vote Emo_Pinata.
Unvote Emo_Pinata, Vote Zionite
-------------------
Random notes:
@Emo_Pinata: In post #305 you made mention of multiple opponents. Were these suspects or are they actually your opponents in your attempt for election?
Macius still has yet to explain his point system or how he figured Iso to be the leader in points when everyone was listed at 1 in his post.
Zionite made a point to call out TCM for being neutral for his Shutdown vote. This vote was made within RVS though.

No its not. Waiting and not revealing them and having Cyan die is just not helpful to the town. Now at least the names are out there. If they come to claim then the town will be set in not mislynching.

Unless KCC used her daykill on Cyan there was very little chance that he could have died before everyone (or at least those of us that are active) had a chance to weigh in.
You telling me that in this case it is a town mentality is just WIFOM
@Cyouni: My flavor is that I am a campaign manager for a canadate who decided to badmouth a large voting bloc in a close race. Something about an ice elephant was in there. Wasn't Nom_Anor a daykiller in Asphodel Meadows, but was killed by a one-shot daykill?
I really don't like this string of posts. You want to read Zionite to see if he's acting the same, then once you've confirmed that he isn't, you hop on the wagon anyways.
Your role is nowhere near confirmed-town for you to be so confident. Fear is fear. There is no reason for you to be so confident with what you claimed.
---
Unvote, Vote EP
Unvote, Vote tordeck
---
By the way, whoever said Archonoid is scummy: Why?
Again you are confusing where the confidence comes from. I know my claim alone is not enough to keep me alive. But combine that with the fact that there was no merit to the "case" against me and I had nothing to fear but fear itself.
Cyan glances around the group, amused by multiple parties.
First he speaks to tordeck. "If you think that there is no animosity between us, you are the only one. You started getting on my case in the endgame of Zionite's game, continued it into the mafia council thread where you actually went along with something stated by that clueless simpleton Dragonheart, and then continued to personally attack me at the start of this game. And I'm pretty sure that you initially told Xyre that you didn't want to be in the game if I was in it, and later just changed your mind(though I'm not 100% on this, it makes sense).
And you have no place calling me out for revealing my own information. I am struggling with playing a neutral role. I don't want to just side with the scum. Being scum is easy and boring. Knowingly getting people mislynched is easy and boring. I like actually finding scum. But it takes alot of effort, especially when I get effectively personally attacked by people like you and wuffles(nevermind that my efforts have been proven time and again). It is tempting to just sit back and let the scum do whatever they want, and only care if it seems like I might miss my own win condition. So I tried to give the town some information and play along, but are people receptive? Nah. Obviously not. Also, I took AE's comment about lurkers alot differently than you did."
To Wuffles, Cyan says, "First of all, I'm not going to take criticism about being too active from someone else that A)clearly is just another neutral and B)is barely active, and has basically said nothing over 16 posts. And furthermore, have you looked around? Nobody is stepping up here. Everyone is just floundering around. Probably because a ton of people are neutral, and don't actually care if the town wins or not. But I do. For now. Hell, some people are still trying to lynch tordeck, despite him being overwhelmingly likely town."
"KCC is the most likely scum in our midst. Him being a daykiller IS a point against him. Getting criticism on this point from someone that wanted us to lynch the mod, of all people, is fascinating. And beyond that, KCC has been plenty scummy. He was all too happy to go along with my wagon on tordeck. The thing is, my wagon on tordeck was largely instinct. And KCC clearly expected me to continue the effort against tordeck. When I didn't, he was left holding the bag. He tried to play that off, but he only looked worse because of it."
"I'm not really sure about that macius lynch. I'm starting to feel like he is just a bad player, which frequently comes across as scummy. Some of the posts he makes are just so out there. I would feel better about additional pressure being put on Zionite and/or KCC. Both are seasoned players that should know better than to commit the grievances that they have been charged with. Zionite's play has felt off all game."
I really don't like this string of posts. You want to read Zionite to see if he's acting the same, then once you've confirmed that he isn't, you hop on the wagon anyways.
Given that his last scum game was 2 years ago, it's probably outdated so it's not entirely relevant, but if there were more parallels to his behavior there, then I would feel even more confident about my vote. That being said, I have no reason not to believe Zionite is not scum at this point, aside from the fact that I agree with his push against Xyre.

First he speaks to tordeck. "If you think that there is no animosity between us, you are the only one.
Than that is on you.
And I'm pretty sure that you initially told Xyre that you didn't want to be in the game if I was in it, and later just changed your mind(though I'm not 100% on this, it makes sense).
Go ask Niv and Artifice my stance on pulling that kind of ****.
And you have no place calling me out for revealing my own information. [/quote} I damn well do as it just shows once again that you have a pro-me mentality. If you really wanted to work with the town to achive your wincon then you would be acting a pro-town manner.
[quote] But it takes alot of effort, especially when I get effectively personally attacked by people like you
My attacks were on your playstyle, not you as a person. And if you feel differently than I invite you to PM me after this game has concluded so we may discuss it.
And I'm pretty sure that you initially told Xyre that you didn't want to be in the game if I was in it, and later just changed your mind(though I'm not 100% on this, it makes sense).
Quashing this theory right now. zindabad asked not to play in the game if Seppel was in it. tordeck had nothing to do with that statement.
Unless KCC used her daykill on Cyan there was very little chance that he could have died before everyone (or at least those of us that are active) had a chance to weigh in.
I wouldn't even of argued if he just came out and said these two are town. Without asking for comments. He's clearing two people for us. Whats the problem here?
You telling me that in this case it is a town mentality is just WIFOM
c)Xyre cannot be scum, actually I find it pretty impossible Xyre's a SK too because he has perfect information and all.
I thought I addressed this argument thoroughly, but since you seem to have missed it:
Xyre having a role and a win con is totally within the realm of possibility. We already saw Xyre having an effect on the game as a mod with a role in TFC. This isn't much of a stretch to make. Perfect knowledge does not necessarily mean "oh then the game is broken", it could very easily be a random role or a predetermined role prepared ahead of time. You're coming into this game expecting normal when the setup is anything but normal.
My main point is, as Iso pointed out, we won't know and can't know unless we lynch him and find out. It's a large unknown and it will likely effect our analysis later. I'd rather get it taken care of sooner than later.
He came off as genuine in his responses. He seems like he wants to help the town (though now he's retreated, which is alarming). At the moment, my judgment says it's best for the town not to lynch him. He could be useful.
Is there something else you had in mind you wanted me to address?
Also, let's assume people weren't lurking. Who would you be looking at aside from Xyre, and why?
Also, remind me why you think TCM is neutral.
Wasn't Nom_Anor a daykiller in Asphodel Meadows, but was killed by a one-shot daykill?
If people weren't lurking, I'd be asking them if anyone has a 'lynch Xyre' win con. Even now we can't get any more info on Xyre because KCC has been either quiet or removed from the game for the day. It's frustrating; like seeing your keys in the front seat of your locked car.
I guarantee that some scum are enjoying getting to lurk right now. However, drawing on the pool of active players, I'm leaning toward tordeck. His attack on me has felt opportunistic and was used as a way to get attention off of him. The 'die scum die' stuff is what really comes off as ridiculous, as if a daycop had just revealed a guilty result. I'd be okay with lynching him at this point.
TCM is likely a neutral because A) He pretty much claimed so in his first post ("I already won") and B) His awareness and use of the shutdown vote. This leads me to believe he is a neutral that simply wants the game to end.
kpaca spent the sawed-off shotgun, best game item, in order to kill Nom_Anor, the vig. They were both town. Xyre said he would discourage using daykillers in the future based on this taking place. He also mentioned in the google group of Asphodel that the scum have had false claims in both TAM and TFC, so it's easy to assume they have them again here.
As a courtesy, I'm going to save everyone a lot of time. Yes, you caught me, I slipped about my AWC. I'm a neutral. My ONLY goal is to keep that one player alive.
Other than that, I want to help. Many of these other neutrals running around have other agendas they need to complete first before considering what the town needs. I don't have the same requirements. That's why I've been the self-proclaimed prophet of the Xyre lynch, because I really do think the town is in danger. If you really think Xyre being the SK is impossible, then you shouldn't be playing a Xyre specialty game.

Cyan beings to walk back to his desk, but stops to address everyone on the way. "I still fully expect the people that own the names that I revealed to come forward today. I will be thoroughly displeased if this does not happen." He kicks Guardman in the chest one more time for good measure, and then walks away.
Guardman pulls out a flask and takes a swig. "Well since I want something from you and you obviously want something from me how about we meet halfway.
"Tell me everything you know about what Macius says in this post as he implies strongly that he either works for you or against you. If you give me all you know then I'll throw a vote your way." Guardman looks down at his flask. "Hell I'll even throw in Old Betsy here. Won't find a nicer flask within the state."

Not sure why I didn't notice this until rereading, but KCC's most recent response to me was one giant fencesit. This is unlike her Starcraft play.
@Cyan: Why is Guardman not trustworthy? Also, I am neither character.
@Iso: What does p_b have to do with Tordeck's alignment, again?
@Zionite:
Answer this for me, please.
Lurker hunting here seems stupid. Half the game is lurking.
I have no need to meet halfway when I've got two goals and you've implied you understand my second one.
There's no question. You said you fixed a quote but it was exactly the same. I don't understand.

Will ponder this when I am more coherent.
a)Cyan's "tell me the names of two certain people and I will help town" is incredibly suspitious.
Mythic rarity is not destroying the game. People whine too much for no good reason. Magic is more popular than ever, so keep calm, brew some decks and play some damn cards.
They hate us cause they ain't us.

Not the breadcrumb I read from that post.
Seeing that we know we can quote our Name and Role why would you not do so?
Yeah that or someone that can make a lynch not end the day would be what I read as well from her breadcrumb.

I gathered that much. I want to know why.
@Tordeck: I wasn't saying there was OOG animosity. It just certainly appears that way in-game.
Since I don't think I've formally said it, I don't want any part in killing Xyre when two scummy players are on the table.
No its not. Waiting and not revealing them and having Cyan die is just not helpful to the town. Now at least the names are out there. If they come to claim then the town will be set in not mislynching.
Typically yes. Thats why in games I get on Zindabads case. But in this game, not the case. Which is why I'm telling Zindabad to up his post count.

I agree with this.
They hate us cause they ain't us.
I know this has been addressed multiple times but it stood out whilst reading through and it wasn't till after I quoted it I saw that so many others picked up on it. VOTE: ZIONITE
Macius - I never saw your point totals explained and in the only post that I saw you having point totals you had three folks tied at 1. So, a) can you explain your point program and b) can you provide the updated totals that would show Iso in the lead?
Could a scum have 3?
Agreed. I'm not in favor of lynching the mod.
Again, I'm not in favor of lynching the mod. The Daykill attempt, however, I was fine with.
Does anyone know for sure that there are items in this game? There is nothing addressing them in the OP and there was in other Xyre games. I'm not asking anyone to reveal that they do have an item, just if anyone can somehow confirm the existence of items.
You ask for thoughts and then reveal them without a consensus or even something resembling a consensus. Does this part of your wincon have to be completed on day 1? If not, why not wait for day 2 as Gman has requested?
Can Xyre be persuaded to help the town in exchange for his case, if in fact the case is in the game.
Did you confirm that you have the case here? If so, that would probably explain why Xyre voted you. I know you know this, just observing.
If you're top suspect is the Mod, that would mean that the Mod has a wincon. If the mod has a wincon, we are all screwed. While I can understand your desire to lynch the mod based on your previous experiences, this is something that is better suited for a later day if at all.
How do the names relate to KCC being scum?
Does the bolded mean that you believe GMan is scum?
Emo_P has mentioned the word stump in his posts several times this game. I believe that he is a stump until he gets to his 2/3 players voting for him. I understand that the word stump is a political term, but it's just old and out of place. He also, IIRC, has not voted yet. Therefore Unvote Zionite, Vote Emo_Pinata.
Unvote Emo_Pinata, Vote Zionite

Random notes:
@Emo_Pinata: In post #305 you made mention of multiple opponents. Were these suspects or are they actually your opponents in your attempt for election?
Macius still has yet to explain his point system or how he figured Iso to be the leader in points when everyone was listed at 1 in his post.
Zionite made a point to call out TCM for being neutral for his Shutdown vote. This vote was made within RVS though.

Macius is a female character. The boy's father has the case.
Ergo, Macius cannot have the case.
As did I. But I wasn't going to draw attention to it.

Go ask Niv and Artifice my stance on pulling that kind of ****.
My attacks were on your playstyle, not you as a person. And if you feel differently than I invite you to PM me after this game has concluded so we may discuss it.
Of this we agree.

Quashing this theory right now. zindabad asked not to play in the game if Seppel was in it. tordeck had nothing to do with that statement.
Experiments Series: #5 (Courtly Intrigue Mafia) | #4 (Drunken Tracker) | #3 (Big Red Button) - coming soon | #2 (Pope Mafia) | #1 (Iso's Inflammable Mafia)
Mini Games: MTGS Mafia Redux II (Invitational, Evil Mirror Universe) | Unreal City
Old Games (bad): The Greenwood Affair | Blood Moon Mafia
I wouldn't even of argued if he just came out and said these two are town. Without asking for comments. He's clearing two people for us. Whats the problem here?
I'm not telling you anything.
They hate us cause they ain't us.

I'd rather not say.
Really?
@MOD: Is the count next to my name valid? I want to know if we have an invisible voter.
He came off as genuine in his responses. He seems like he wants to help the town (though now he's retreated, which is alarming). At the moment, my judgment says it's best for the town not to lynch him. He could be useful.
Is there something else you had in mind you wanted me to address?
