Back from my ptq. Blegh. 22nd out of 170-something. At least I came back from my first constructed event ever with some packs and not empty handed. I haven't even attended a single fnm either.
DesCoures, what post are you talking about? Your link is all wanky. Besides, I really don't think I can come up with a defense on an attack of character since I'm just playing the way I (don't) know how to play. My defenses yesterday are poorly articulated and lack any amount of solid reasoning because I don't do well under pressure IRL, in a game, anywhere. Plus, I'm not entirely experienced.
No, WoD, i'm not claiming any kills. That was clearly in the neck, not in the chest like my pm says.
My eye is currently on Eco, but that's a gut feeling for scum, nothing solid there.
Yeah, a guy who nets 22nd in a field of 170 in his first constructed event is obviously bad under pressure. You had what...two losses to guys who made top eight?
In other news you lurky folks need to get in here and help lynch Ace.
Yeah, you voted him without saying anything about what you found scummy, then Cyan implied a vig, so you took the opportunity to say great and then still not say anything about what you found scummy.
Not all votes are meant to be explained. At least, not initially. And after the claim of a vig, I saw no reason to push for a lynch that had both no chance of happening and was on a player that is pretty much already dead, both due to Cyan's claim.
You pretty much stuck a vote to WoD and then put your vote on AE and argued with him. Even before Cyan spoke up you'd done absolutely nothing to push the lynch besides sticking a vote there.
Er, Cyan replied less than two hours after I made my vote. I'm not sure how hard you expected me to push in that time frame, especially because Wrath_of_Dog didn't post until a day later.
1. In a game like this where behavioral analysis is way more important than roles, I fail to see how Eco confirming anyone has a role really proves anything other than AE is a daydoc, which was all I was saying. Therefore it really says nothing about Eco, or much about AE for that matter, since confirming roles doesn't mean that much.
2. If you want me to post "I don't what to think about this wagon/person." then I will happily do that instead of trying to scumhunt people I think are scum. Namely Eco and NA at this point in time.
That's all the time I have today but if you have anymore questions for me please feel free to post them in bold or pink text so that it is easy for me to find and answer.
Pretty sure that between TMT and I we have covered everything.

So you don't think that people giving opinions to wagons is a pro-town thing?
Why does producing one sentence make it more difficult for you to scumhunt?
unvote, Vote Guardman. Still keeping my eye on AE, I consider them about equal scummminess.
Apologies for my absence. Chemotherapy is never fun. I was thinking of /replacing, but I don't want to muck up this game (with SB's absence, it already has been enough).
Some quick thoughts:
Guardman's last few posts are abominable. His reaction to Eco's quite safe claim to save AE from a potential mislynch by voting him is absurd. Truly, what townie would turn around and try to push that lynch without at least a little discussion amongst the town? It also amuses me that he attempts to justify his vote based purely upon two things: Role analysis, and a table of "what-if's", which are so ridiculously WIFOM that I'm not even going to touch them.
On the AE&Eco discussion : After rereading, I'm hesitant to believe both simply by way of role, but by gameplay, they haven't been the scummies on my lists.
At this point, both WoD and Guardman deserve a lynch.
As a point of interest, I find PM and Cyan to be the most townie this far. Which is horribly, horribly wrong that one should ever be inclined to theorise that Cyan is town. :/
Yeah, a guy who nets 22nd in a field of 170 in his first constructed event is obviously bad under pressure. You had what...two losses to guys who made top eight?
In that regard, you don't know how the day went. I was shooting the breeze with my 3rd and 4th round opponents after i beat them and we were talking about my completely jank deck that was playing cards like Guile and Soul Manipulation and was still managing to win at table 5. The day was all sorts of wierd, and FYI, i went 5-3. And i lost to two of the guys who went to top 8, yes. Beat one of the others. Seriously, I was laughing all through round 3. (My opponent even said 'who says you can't have fun at a ptq' after playing with me) There was no pressure there until i started losing at round 5, which is when i fell apart.
And now back to the game.
My opinion on guardman is relatively pro-town. He has been giving fairly solid arguements, and while he is alittle off his mark with me, he seems to have good intentions.
Oh, his statement did as well. I blasted at him yesterday for it. While he has other things going for him at the same time, yours specifically was that statement.
Why do you use the statement "This will be interesting" here?
Also, your first post gives me the initial impression that you're scum. Maybe it's your approach in making that list of yours or that daykill statement tacked on at the end; I don't really know. It seems to be coming from a scum mindset.
Do tell, Mr. Lecter. Is it perhaps the fava beans giving you that perception? I recommend some miso to get that out of your system.
I think it should be obvious by now why I said 'this will be interesting'. And it was.
Unvote, Vote desCoures. I was suspicious of CC yesterday, and that slip only makes me more suspicious of you.
Interesting, indeed. This, and your reaction to my double vote, make it abundantly clear that you're either really bad scum, or a jester waiting to be lynched. The above is about the worst execution ever of the Freudian slip thing I tried on goatrevolt in Amistarian, and the latter is the worst possible excuse you could have taken to 'retract your suspicions' of me. This is not the Wrath_of_DoG that took honorary MVP for Persona.
I'd vote you, but Cyan is apparently going to take care of it. Fire away.
A quick look over the posts of Wuffles has cemented my suspicion of him.
Have a look for yourself. Huge amounts of it is negative, the only real attempt to scumhunt is a token effort towards the missing CC (and a little at the start in 93). The only arguably town post of his that I can see is 100, which I picked out initially.
Also waiting on a claim from AE.
By the way, I probably won't have internet access for the next few days. Maybe a bit tomorrow morning, but it may bhe a while after that.
I honestly hadn't noticed Wuffles was in this game.
Very convenient Cyan. Maybe some work for a cop. You better hope WOD does not come up town like I will because it will be an easy lynch for the town then.
....what? Attempt at direction with a side of threatening?
It's posts like these which make me continue to be suspicious as all heck of you.
...actually, I'd like a votecount. I wouldn't want to end the day unexpectedly, especially while I'm still sober.
No, but it seems we don't need to have a worry about that anyway. Not that claims will prove anything in this game, and not that AE is in the clear yet.
I think I approve of this Guardman push. I am reminded a bit of how he played in Persona. I want to look back at what he did on day 1.
I don't understand where this laissez faire attitude to killing WoD is coming from.
Eh. If you want to talk meta, Guardman is actually playing fairly differently from Persona, from what I can tell. There he kept following popular wagons and latching onto other people's reasoning. It was so ridiculously blatant after Toastboy's lynch that I think only Wuffles being more scummy and Kraj being investigated scum kept him from being lynched earlier.
@Ced - I looked over Wuffles. I'm having a hard time seeing a scum Wuffy throw out the info on when scum would know they are scum if he's mafia himself. I agree he's on the periphery, but I'm not inclined to believe that's motivated by alignment at this point. (It would be peachy if he got more involved, though).
BTW, I've asked our new mod the same/similiar question that Wuffles claimed to have asked Stormblind and got a similiar answer, so I'm believing his information.
@desCoures - Can you confirm a doublevote or is something else afoot?
I'm currently uninterested in AE as a suspect. Like Wuffy, he needs to be more involved. My patience will not last with either of them.
Vote: Guardman kill kill kill
Double vote confirmed. It comes and goes, however.
I agree that Ecophagy coming out with that role investigation probably means he can only be scum if AE is. Why Guardman, though? Especially with both AE and WoD on that wagon?

That's odd. The link is screwed up... I meant this post.
Not doing well under pressure, by the by, is a horrible defense, because all that means is that you're not good at faking under pressure. Which implies, logically, that if you 'don't do well under pressure', and come across scummy under pressure... you're probably scum.
And you're n00b carding. Again.

Plastic? I'm going to take that as a compliment by assuming you mean that I have the looks to be a potential (perfect) Barbie doll. Except I'm male; and awesomer than Ken.
@WoD: dC summed it up pretty well. Freudian slip? Did you even take that concept seriously?
Plastic? I'm going to take that as a compliment by assuming you mean that I have the looks to be a potential (perfect) Barbie doll. Except I'm male; and awesomer than Ken.
Way to brush off accusations following your awesome barning in #855.
I'm looking at Some One as scum the way he jumps on my wagon saying I'm obv, scum then jumps right off from the comment from Cyan regarding being roleblocked and not knowing.
I really forgot that people usually don't receive RB flavor if they are vanilla.
If he felt strong enough that I atempted a night action and was block to place a vote then there was no need to unvote.
Clearly we now have you as close to confirmed town as we can possibly get (assuming eco is town), nonetheless, my previous logic was really bad, hence the unvote. Isolating that incident, I just wasn't paying attention to what was really going on and interpreted the data as the following: not considering the possibility you didn't receive RB flavor, I figured you must be lying scum for not disclosing the RB information.
TMT has my suspicion also.
How does his FoS of me feel to you? Is it a bus-FoS?
In that regard, you don't know how the day went. My goodness...what an accusation!

Thumbs up.
I agree that Ecophagy coming out with that role investigation probably means he can only be scum if AE is. Why Guardman, though? Especially with both AE and WoD on that wagon?
AE and WoD don't factor in, really. I don't have enough negative feelings for either of them to assume alignment. I've got a mixed read on Guardman, and depending which part of my memory is guiding my fingers when I type I either want him dead or don't. His attack on me yesterday was pretty awful, but I remember being unconvinced by the end of yesterday that it was scum play over poor play.
Short version: I could be up for lynching Guardman if Ace wasn't higher on my radar. I know he's devoting a lot of his time to his friend (completely understandable and he has my sympathies), but what he's giving us when he does post lately is scummy.
And you're n00b carding. Again.
How many times is it? It's a weak tell until you hit a dozen, I think.
I'm also in agreement with you about Ace, I think. He's currently coming off as more plastic than a range of Barbie dolls. Which makes him blindly defending AE based on his claim more than a bit interesting.
Does that range include a vintage Midge? Yeah, he's scum. Feel free to vote for him. Jobie's not going anywhere.
I have to agree on this one regarding Ace. What he basically says here is "I don't want to lynch him based on his role, but we should look at the people who also want to leave him alone based on his role. They might be up to no good. Also, I'm going to add a little comment at the end so that I don't actually have to commit to this opinion until I see what happens next."
Probably enough to sway me
You're my favorite person in the whole world. I mean that.
Also, I asked SB about that info when he was still around, and he gave me the same stuff. I don't see how that matters, though, seeing as scum-Wuffles could have asked what info is given.
Scum Wuffles wouldn't need to ask as he would already know the answer. If you mean scum Wuffy would have to ask to know what answer SB would give a townie who asked, then that shows all kinds of foresight on Wuffy's part. He's capable of gambits as scum, but I'm not certain he would see taking that conversation off the table (the "when do scum know they are scum" convo) before it ever got rolling as a solid play. The scum team could have had folks looking for traitor tells for a day or so without that information.
Is it possible he's scum? Sure, but without decent evidence to overcome that he's getting a pass from me for today, at least. (...and since it seems he's being replaced we're going to have to set him aside for a while, anyway).
EBWOP: That first line to desCoures is in reply to comment to Dagger. That's confusing since I neglectfully removed any indication of that from the quote.
Interesting, indeed. This, and your reaction to my double vote, make it abundantly clear that you're either really bad scum, or a jester waiting to be lynched. I'd vote you, but Cyan is apparently going to take care of it. Fire away.
All I can say about the Freudian Slip thing - I withdraw it. I was looking for a good reason to pursue you, given the scummy scummy SCUMMY drunk-posting of CC yesterday.
Post 49- Still nothing but DATBF. Of note is that NightArcher has voted WoD (who has asked not to be voted). NA is starting to take a little heat from this from kpain (et al?)
Post 121- Ace weighs in on the NA discussion. This can be read as both a slight defense and slight push of NA.
Post 132- More NA stuff. Committing to nothing, really. Plainsight lurkery. Involved without being involved.
Post 171- Cantripmancer is taking more heat at this point, I believe. Ace's contribution is meaningless. "Trying to understand Cyan is like trying to understand a ham". Relevant things are happening, and this is what Ace brings to the table. This is a person trying to fly under the radar. He provides an excuse for this poor content...
AT THIS POINT WE'VE HAD STUFF HAPPEN AND ACE HASN'T MADE A SINGLE VOTE OR TRULY INSIGHTFUL COMMENT ON ANYTHING
Post 207- A jab at me. I'll come back to this in a moment. I'll note if Ace has caught up, he hasn't found anything worth commenting on. The thread is busy, Ace is not.
Post 211- Ace responds to me after I ask him what fence I was sitting on. What is completely absent in his response to me is any hint of real suspicion on me or TMT (who is also mentioned). His barb at me was not serious. He doesn't even seem to be attempting to gauge a reaction from me. This isn't townie play.
Post 266- I liked this post when I first read it. Ace asks for clarification on somebody's logic (reasonable), takes a stance on something (but not something huge), and calls on someone else for more reasoning on a vote (Eco's vote on Guardman). However, none of these things really puts Ace forward in the scumhunting department. (Also, he makes another promise to read and post).
Post 283- Agrees with me on something obvious. Nothing else.
Post 302- ...and now he finally takes a stance on major issues. NA wagon moved too fast, commits himself to Cantripmancer. I'll note he gives very soft reasons for considering Cantripmancer scum (subtle deflection in two posts, and speed of wagon). Then has meaningless conversation with kpain. (padding?)
(I will further note this is where it seems Ace started to have RL issues. This isn't part of his case, but frequency of posting after this point in the thread is completely null. Content is fair game, though.)
Post 323- At this time RafK had derailed the thread with the "kpaca slip" thing, people are unvoting Cantrip and voting kpain, and Ace doesn't comment on any of this at all. He makes a slight stab at NA and apologizes for lack of content. This is a terrible post. The guy who claims he can't catch up and others have already said everything he wants to say walks into the middle of a new development and doesn't weigh in.
Post 389- Still no vote on Cantrip. Defends NA (who he was pushing on slightly in his last post). Possibly telling question to Ced.
Post 431- Has changed his stance a bit on Cantripmancer. Seems more convinced he's scum, but doesn't think it warrants a vote at the moment (partly based on claim). Earlier, he was ready to vote him and was waiting on a votecount.
Oddly enough, I think this post reads townie overall.
Post 465- Announcement of RL issues. Promising to catch up.
Post 474- This post also reads townie to me. Ace calling out a lurker is funny to me.
Post 765- I hate this post with a passion. This is the same kind of non-involved fence-sitting plainsight lurking crap Ace was doing early on Day One.
Posts 812 and 813I've already commented on how I hate this post. Plus, he follows it up WITH YET ANOTHER PROMISE OF CONTENT IN THE FUTURE. Ace has promised this so often that it is beyond a pattern. It's now a mathematical law.
Post 815- True, but poor logic. Doesn't factor in risk v. reward. Also ignores our setup entirely.
Post 855- Ace seems to have forgotten he was suspicious of AE yesterday. In my experience, this is the kind of detail a liar-Ace forgets. He voted twice on Day One, and one of them was for AE. And he criticized AE's post 12 (implying it was scummy without saying so...that's what's so wonderful about words like 'strange', 'weird', 'interesting', and of course 'absurd'. It allows one to back off and claim he never made any insinuation whatsoever).
There's a couple of posts of Ace I like and read sincere, but most of it does not. It's easy to fake it for a couple of posts, so I'm not inclined to believe those are giving me a true read. I backed off Ace yesterday because it looked like he was going to start giving us some content, but then he completely dropped the ball.
I don't think Ace has any intention of being any more involved than he has to be to skate by this game. Frequency of posting is not the issue, it's what he chooses to get involved with. Hiding behind "I'm not caught up" isn't on the level when one knows one isn't going to be around much. Further, the one time he walked into something fresh he ignored it.
There are a couple of points where Ace seems to have lost track of his own thoughts in the game. My only experience with Ace was in VR: Salvation, and he did that a few times as the SK. Point being, I think that's a tell for him. He can't track a false thought process very well or very long.
Ace is playing for the wrong side. Please help me kill him.
All I can say about the Freudian Slip thing - I withdraw it. I was looking for a good reason to pursue you, given the scummy scummy SCUMMY drunk-posting of CC yesterday.
It seemed like a good idea at the time
Since you're going to be dead soon I'd love it if you held nothing back. Thoughts on everyone would be great, and if you don't have a read on somebody being pro-active about getting one would be appreciated. If you're town, that is.
Actually doing a reread of Ace, PM has brought up a lot of good points. His last post with the barbie defense is really god awful and does nothing to make think better of him.
I agree with the recent case and pressure on Ace. Heck, I outlined 568 posts ago the reasons I felt he was scum, and certainly nothing has changed from then until now that would nullify this scum points and make him appear more townie. In regards to Guardman from my post 310, I still feel he's scum and the above post is likely a bus IMO. Either way, he's trying to redirect attention off of himself as best as possible, and realistically, one is just a better lynch than the other.
2. If you want me to post "I don't what to think about this wagon/person." then I will happily do that instead of trying to scumhunt people I think are scum. Namely Eco and NA at this point in time.
See, no one is saying you should be doing that instead. The point is that one would expect a townie to weigh in on important matters, not that they would do that to the exclusion of everything else. Scumhunting elsewhere when you're not sold on the most prominent wagon is all well and good, but avoiding adding anything to the discussion on the most prominent wagon is not. andelijah's comment about Guardman having "conviction under pressure" is a reasonable point, but I can't say it sells me on his innocence.
I do like PM's case on Ace though. Depending on how he responds, I may move my vote.
Post 121- Ace weighs in on the NA discussion. This can be read as both a slight defense and slight push of NA.
This was anything but a defense. The last part of the sentence insinuates scummy action due to the vote. Allowing him to voice his defense doesn't change my opinion. It would have, however, allowed us to prevent a mislynch should such a thing occur later on in the day.
AT THIS POINT WE'VE HAD STUFF HAPPEN AND ACE HASN'T MADE A SINGLE VOTE OR TRULY INSIGHTFUL COMMENT ON ANYTHING
Alright, I'll be truly sincere - I'm not too crash hot at mafia. I also play incredibly defensively in all my games (check them out if you don't believe me). I don't believe in dropping the vote too early, before any true suspiscions on my part are fully grounded. I will admit that by this point in the game that you are right, and I haven't given many truly insightful comments. For this I apologise, and it would be weak of me to solely blame my real life issues, but rather my poor playing skills.
For all these points you bring against me, you find something you like but then dismiss it simply because it doesn't provide vital scumhunting info, nor does it match up to other (legendary) players in the game? I really think you're really too attached to this idea of me being scum, and this paragraph attempts to justify your logic while dismissing facts.
I try to not say things that are already being said, or that others are saying. I've been burnt by saying such things in previous games, making me looking ridiculous, and often ridiculed for "talking stuff that's already being talked about".
Posts 812 and 813I've already commented on how I hate this post. Plus, he follows it up WITH YET ANOTHER PROMISE OF CONTENT IN THE FUTURE. Ace has promised this so often that it is beyond a pattern. It's now a mathematical law.
Let's get this straight. Which are you attacking me for: Lack of content, scummy behaviour, or failure to provide promised content? I'm just confused because you tend to jump back and forth. I would like to know where I am being scummy, besides deflection (which I acknowledge to be a sign of my poor playstyle - keep it light, keep it fun).
I did not forget, I just found in a reread that my suspicions of AE were unfounded, and that my reasonings for both himself and Eco being possible scum were both 'absurd'. AE has come back with some insightful posts, and most certainly playing town at this point.

Loss of train-of-thought is simply laziness, not scummy-by-nature. As the SK, I did not lose my train of thought, but rather did not follow the game for the first few days, as I was not actually in the game. I tend to mix up names ocassionally, and as I have professed, I prefer the defensive posting, not the incredibly offensive posts you'd see in some of the MTGSalvation mafia games. I do indeed intend to be more involved in this game, and I am here, and I will give my opinions as the time arises. I have posted who I think is town, and am trying to formulate who I believe deserves more discussion today.
I did not forget, I just found in a reread that my suspicions of AE were unfounded, and that my reasonings for both himself and Eco being possible scum were both 'absurd'. AE has come back with some insightful posts, and most certainly playing town at this point.
I've thought Ace has looked contentless for the whole game. I see newb / scared town doing that enough that I prefer the Guardman wagon.
So wait, since when has Ace been newb town? Also since when has Ace been scared town? And how are either of those an excuse for being contentless? That statement makes no sense at all. Please explain.
vote AE, I realize that I failed to do so post-daykill.
As to Cyan's move, I think it's a great way to utilize a drawback in order to "double-dip" on the doc role to become a vig. It's really a spectacular back and forth between Ged and Cyan. I wondered what it was about.
AE's claim seems bizarre. I doubt there would be enough daykills to warrant another doc and keep the balance in any game.
This post bothered me because first, he's sucking up to Cyan and Ged to another degree, something I always find unsettling, and then use some stupid little ******** reasoning to keep his vote on (when it's obvious that no one will lie about their role this early as well as trying to guess on balancing issues). Then he unvotes without saying anything after a few people unvote/etc. Going to look closer at this guy this weekend.
Also Ced sort of doesn't sit right with me. His last two votes have been basically "hi barn" from what I remember, let me dig them up:
I have to agree on this one regarding Ace. What he basically says here is "I don't want to lynch him based on his role, but we should look at the people who also want to leave him alone based on his role. They might be up to no good. Also, I'm going to add a little comment at the end so that I don't actually have to commit to this opinion until I see what happens next."
Probably enough to sway me
VOTE ACE
Other than that, the AE wagon looks good.
VOTE ARCHMAGE ETERNAL
It's not too bad though, as there have been others who've just barned, except I just can't remember any by name (other than E_P and Guardman on Ace) and I can see how Ace is scummy.
I found Guardman's response not bad, so I'm not too interested in him, and pretty much I forgot anything related to A_E so no opinion anymore. Must've not of been of much consequence.
So wait, since when has Ace been newb town? Also since when has Ace been scared town? And how are either of those an excuse for being contentless? That statement makes no sense at all. Please explain.
Is Ace not a newb? That'd be news to me. I was saying that I've seen people in the past do what Ace is doing and turn out to be just newb town or town who are scared of getting criticized. There's a tendancy for some people (like perhaps Ace) to not say anything when they're unsure about something, and when you're playing mafia you're rarely sure of anything - which leads to not posting much.

Is that a statement of support, or disagreement, or just sort of in the middle?
Middle, leaning support, I would think. Lurker lynching probably isn't the way we should be going just yet, though. (And we're apparently going have to wait for his replacement, anyway...)
It's entirely possible that he's scum, but AE isn't, and he is still a rolecop, but investigated somebody else last night, and is just faking info from something that's just been mentioned in the thread.
....to derail a mislynch of AE, while simultaneously opening himself up to 'um, I lied. Which means you lied too. SCUM!'.
All I can say about the Freudian Slip thing - I withdraw it. I was looking for a good reason to pursue you, given the scummy scummy SCUMMY drunk-posting of CC yesterday.
Side note: where are Jobie and Dagger? I know the former is V/LA (for a ridiculously long time), but Dagger?

This post bothered me because first, he's sucking up to Cyan and Ged to another degree, something I always find unsettling, and then use some stupid little ******** reasoning to keep his vote on (when it's obvious that no one will lie about their role this early as well as trying to guess on balancing issues). Then he unvotes without saying anything after a few people unvote/etc. Going to look closer at this guy this weekend.
Actually doing a reread of Ace, PM has brought up a lot of good points. His last post with the barbie defense is really god awful and does nothing to make think better of him. Unvote
Vote Ace
This incredible barning does not improve my opinion of Guardman.
On Ace: PM's summary is pretty strong, and Ace's defence lacking in any real strength.
I am happy to support pressure on Ace and Guardman, and will move my vote to Ace if the wagon overtakes Guardman's.

Me too. I'll add to it here: my experience, and this is something I've done myself, is that complaining about unbalanced protection abilities is something scum do. They often do it to try and convince townies the protection ability is fake and they should lynch the doc, and they just as much do it out of a "screw this, ANOTHER DOC?" sense, but the reason it is so often a scum thing is that the town are usually not in a position to think there's an unbalanced amount of town protecton (certainly not on day 2).
Still want to review Guardman; still want to review NA; first weekend for a while where my weekend is 100% open (so far) so I should get a chance.
Wait a minute, Jobie isn't V/LA -- he isn't supposed to be V/LA until tomorrow.
I'm kind of away, since I'm packing for college, but I have been keeping up.
With regards to Ace, since he's kind of the wagon of the moment, I feel like I have to give him the benefit of the doubt with the RL situation he's briefly touched on. I think we should keep an eye on whoever replaces him, so I'm not giving him a full free pass, but for the most part I've felt preoccupied townie from him.
Since DC was confused I'll try to reiterate how my RL situation is. I'm moving out of my parents house tomorrow and into my apartment on Sunday (6 hour drive, ftl). Then on Tuesday I start Marching Band rehearsals all-day until Saturday, and then Monday the 24th I begin classes. So for the next week and a half I will have limited activity, sorry.

Okay. I didn't know this, though experience doesn't preclude not knowing what you're doing.
I also don't see him being scared town.
Well I do. Or at least can. I don't think he's scared town for sure, but it would explain a lot.
I don't have time to comment on other stuff; I'll be back in business on Monday.
Sorry guys, I just haven't had much to say here compared to inheritance and now LZ. I'll go back over the last few pages this weekend and post something.
The way I see it, there are three options as to what to do with Ace:
1) Lynch him without a replacement.
2) Replace him and keep the pressure up with a possibility of a lynch.
3) Replace him and back off.
I don't like 3) as I think Ace is scum, and I don't like rewarding dropping out under pressure (with a valid excuse or not). 2) seems unfair to the replacement as they will both have to read knowing they could die later that day and defend against accusations against another player. That and DYH seems to be having trouble finding a replacement for Wuffles already, finding a second might take a considerable amount of time.
So much for being able to spend time on a review this weekend; I haven't been well- indeed, I feel the gurgles from my rearend starting up again as I type. I see incredibly little has happened since my last post anyway.
ande: Is that not a very lazy plan? (and given what Ace has been saying, I think it would be incredibly incredibly unfair to call this "dropping out under pressure", at least not under game pressure).

Yeah, a guy who nets 22nd in a field of 170 in his first constructed event is obviously bad under pressure. You had what...two losses to guys who made top eight?
In other news you lurky folks need to get in here and help lynch Ace.
What about it?

What do you think about Guardman?
Pretty sure that between TMT and I we have covered everything.
So you don't think that people giving opinions to wagons is a pro-town thing?
Why does producing one sentence make it more difficult for you to scumhunt?
unvote, Vote Guardman. Still keeping my eye on AE, I consider them about equal scummminess.
He has conviction in the face of pressure - not something I would expect from scum.

Vote Guardman
Especially given that Cyan is allegedly going to "take things into his own hands" tonight.
Do tell, Mr. Lecter. Is it perhaps the fava beans giving you that perception? I recommend some miso to get that out of your system.
I think it should be obvious by now why I said 'this will be interesting'. And it was.
@Jobie
I will in due time, when I have time. That time is not now. (Unfortunately.)
As for games we've played in together... only FF7 comes to mind.
@Wrath_of_DoG
Fire away.
@ced395
I honestly hadn't noticed Wuffles was in this game.
@Archmage Eternal
....what? Attempt at direction with a side of threatening?
It's posts like these which make me continue to be suspicious as all heck of you.
...actually, I'd like a votecount. I wouldn't want to end the day unexpectedly, especially while I'm still sober.
@RafaelK
@Wuffles
Double vote confirmed. It comes and goes, however.
I agree that Ecophagy coming out with that role investigation probably means he can only be scum if AE is. Why Guardman, though? Especially with both AE and WoD on that wagon?
@NightArcher
Again.

Also I'm going to GenCon until Sunday. I'll still be able to post, but it will be less than I otherwise could.
I really forgot that people usually don't receive RB flavor if they are vanilla.
How does his FoS of me feel to you? Is it a bus-FoS?

I should just put this in my signature I've been repeating it so much. Role has absolutely no correlation to alignment in this game.

Who did you think I was talking about, sir?
Such a detailed reply to a simple jab. Why?
My goodness...what an accusation!
Thumbs up.
How many times is it? It's a weak tell until you hit a dozen, I think.
Does that range include a vintage Midge? Yeah, he's scum. Feel free to vote for him. Jobie's not going anywhere.
Yes. That one I quoted.
You're my favorite person in the whole world. I mean that.
Yeah, you are definitely correct here.
I thought you were talking about Guardman. Looking back, you were probably talking about Ace. My bad.
It seemed like a good idea at the time
Post 33- Second post. Still random stage, no vote.
Post 39- Third verse, same as the first.
Here, unsolicited in post 174- Thread moving too quickly and he needs to catch up. His next post is...
Post 197, a little over six hours later- This could be a random stage post.
Post 409- Nothing to see here. Just sarcasm.
Post 501- Answering Roja.
Post 535- Ace is involved in a current conversation.
Post 571- Votes AE.
Posts 666 and 667- Comes in and votes Cantrip, gives no specifics.
END DAY ONE
Post 722- Claims to be more active.
Post 730- This post assumes a lot.
Nothing to see here. Humor is not a defense.
Since you're going to be dead soon I'd love it if you held nothing back. Thoughts on everyone would be great, and if you don't have a read on somebody being pro-active about getting one would be appreciated. If you're town, that is.

This was anything but a defense. The last part of the sentence insinuates scummy action due to the vote. Allowing him to voice his defense doesn't change my opinion. It would have, however, allowed us to prevent a mislynch should such a thing occur later on in the day.
I try to not say things that are already being said, or that others are saying. I've been burnt by saying such things in previous games, making me looking ridiculous, and often ridiculed for "talking stuff that's already being talked about".
I did not forget, I just found in a reread that my suspicions of AE were unfounded, and that my reasonings for both himself and Eco being possible scum were both 'absurd'. AE has come back with some insightful posts, and most certainly playing town at this point.

So wait, since when has Ace been newb town? Also since when has Ace been scared town? And how are either of those an excuse for being contentless? That statement makes no sense at all. Please explain.
Also Ced sort of doesn't sit right with me. His last two votes have been basically "hi barn" from what I remember, let me dig them up:
It's not too bad though, as there have been others who've just barned, except I just can't remember any by name (other than E_P and Guardman on Ace) and I can see how Ace is scummy.
I found Guardman's response not bad, so I'm not too interested in him, and pretty much I forgot anything related to A_E so no opinion anymore. Must've not of been of much consequence.
My statement made perfect sense, thank you.

Halfway there, then. And how about the 'no other defence other than n00b carding' tell?
I'm inclined to agree. I'll probably vote him after the next vote count.

........what.
......are you sure you aren't a jester?
Side note: where are Jobie and Dagger? I know the former is V/LA (for a ridiculously long time), but Dagger?

Wait a minute, Jobie isn't V/LA -- he isn't supposed to be V/LA until tomorrow.
@Jobie
Some content, please, before you disappear for weeks on end. Asking if my vote on you is, in fact, a double vote, does not count as content.

The bolded misses an important fact in between:
Eco claimed to rolecop A_E.
As to no one having a reason to lie this early in the game, I would say that is complete horse****.
This incredible barning does not improve my opinion of Guardman.
On Ace: PM's summary is pretty strong, and Ace's defence lacking in any real strength.
I am happy to support pressure on Ace and Guardman, and will move my vote to Ace if the wagon overtakes Guardman's.
Guardman (6) - Cyan, Ged, WoD, TMT, Ecophagy, Ace
Ace (4) - Pale Mage, Ced395, Emo Pinata, Guardman
Archmage Eternal (3) - Dagger, Andelijah, Jobie
Jobie (2) - desCoures
WoD (2) - [Jobie], (Andelijah)
Some One (1) - Archmage Eternal
With 21 alive, it is 10 to lynch.
Prods will be going out today for those who have not posted recently.
Also, I still need a replacement for Wuffles, please PM me.
V/LA: 3/21-3/24 & 3/27-3/29
Cyan, RafK, Archmage Eternal, Shadow Knight, and Jobie
Also, Ace is requesting replacement, as the RL situation has worsened. I'll let him elaborate further to those he wishes to share it with.
V/LA: 3/21-3/24 & 3/27-3/29

Therefore, I propose 1).

ande: Is that not a very lazy plan? (and given what Ace has been saying, I think it would be incredibly incredibly unfair to call this "dropping out under pressure", at least not under game pressure).
