I like the way you're thinking, and really, with all the attention Nisin is getting lately, the announcement should come soon enough.
Speaking of which, I wish more volumes were translated. I've only read the first one, and I still haven't bought the second one, since there are no plans of translating any more. Maybe if they were translating it now, after all the publicity Isin's getting in US, it'd be a different deal, but alas.
upd: @Singer of the white line: have you watched the new Last Exile? if so, do you agree that they'd best swap some of the seyuus for the BRs... particularly, some of the Russian-speaking ones?
Actually, I'm not watching it, and I still haven't finished the original Last Exile. Maybe one of my brothers will watch it, and then I'll make my opinion on it.
Well, I'm kinda glad in that regard, because I can actually read light novels in Japanese without much of a problem. Currently halfway through volume 5 (probably going to start reading Miniskirt Pirates after Zaregoto)
I'm also reminded I need to work on Amanchu! Ch24 and Nanoha Force 20 sometime...
I've been sidelined a bit with anime, since there are some shows I'm watching with my brother, and he's working to get tenured within the teaching system in our city. That means I've got a hold on Amagami and Shana at this point, which is fairly regrettable.
Anyway, some other thoughts.
As of the most recent episode with the ridiculous bloodbaths and bloodthirst, I constantly ask myself this: why aren't we more demanding of Misaki to name the dead one? It seems like if Sakakibara just tries to stop for a second and get a name, a lot less conspiracy crap occurs, and a lot more goal-oriented stuff happens. I dunno, perhaps all of this **** has hit the fan, but even then, you think there's an out besides her running off on her own.
It concluded in 22 episodes. I did enjoy watching it weekly, but in retrospect, I think it's fairly weak. I hated Ouma for the greater part of the first half, respected the characterization developments, but the endgame just felt really deus-ex-machina'd. I mean, really, Gai and Mana are clearly in the driver's seat, and all you have to do is draw the power of the flower representative of Inori and you suddenly undo everything. Then you get to play messiah and suck up all the bad stuff, but she lurves you so much that you get to LIVE! (albeit blinded, according to the epilogue).
Also, the lack of developing other characters is disappointing, to say the least. It's like saying "oh, the virus is gone, Undertakers disband!" Meh.
The last two episodes (23, 24) have been an excellent representation of the approaching endgame from the actual game. Obviously it'd be difficult to constantly represent the dungeon crawl bit, but for the most part, they're being quite faithful and fulfilling with regards to all the characters and backgrounds (coverage of all the Social Links, hinted backstories on the proper Max Social Links with your team, etc.) My only question is their decision to choose Ayane over Yumi, as both Daisuke and Kou exist (but then again, that's a decision tree for the Sun Arcana, so I suppose I can let it slide).
Hopefully they'll release an OVA concerning the True End.
Well I just finished watching the last BRS episode. Overall, it was pretty good. I even loved that little part in the end which more or less means all the Otherselves have been restored. I also liked how all the four girls (oh yeah and their guidance counselor) became one nice circle of fwends. ;p
It's a pity it was so short. The only thing missing was to have all five of them team up against another enemy or something (I'm thinking Dragonslayer).
Okay, the last episode of Guilty Crown is out. There is no "one more episode" to explain all the plotholes and develop all the characters. Which means that, when all things are said and done, we are left with too many things that make no sense or deserve further development which they will never get. Why did Gai tell Inori, of all people, to steal Void Genome in episode 1? Why couldn't the bad guys capture Inori while she was having fun in high school under her real name, with everyone knowing that she's a popular songstress? Why did Shu and Inori love each other? Nope, not telling you any answers to that. The worst thing is, the premise and all the effort that they put into graphics and music could've made this into a brilliant series - if only they had a single editor to point out all the weird stuff in the script. For now, I simply hope that Lost Christmas will have one, and that the makers will not miss the chance to redeem themselves.
I agree that BRS felt way too short... again. It's like they're too afraid of concluding the story properly, because that would leave them without the ways of promoting the figures. And really, I can't blame them. They do have at least two more storylines to animate, though, so concluding this one wouldn't have hurt too much.
And Persona 4 will totally have a True End OVAs on the BDs, and I think that it's a pretty clever move that goes even further than episode 13 (or whatever was the episode with the Mitsuo false ending). Speaking of which, now that the Winter season is ending and Spring has not yet begun, I should catch up to both Persona and Symphogear.

For some reason i liked symphogear until the latest episode... the sudden Saint Seiya transformation kinda made me laugh but also go meh... ii hilariously had a "last episode" feel to it for some reason.
Why would they translate it as Demon King Demon King?
Because having your name being said once is to mainstream

I'm curious. What do you mean by storylines? I always wondered whether huke just drew the BRS characters as standalone portraits. However, I've always felt there was as story underneath with the whole mysterious Otherworld and all. Was that actually it?

Now that you've pointed it out, I feel like an idiot for noticing it sooner. >_<;; In my personal defense though, I only used it cuz I still mix up the words of the original name.

Huke didn't come up with any storylines, and that's exactly why everyone who uses his designs come up with a new one. So far, we have the OVA story, the TV story (which is pretty close to the OVA), the game story, and the manga story. And all that they have in common is BRS.
I want to get the Venice Islands, so I can go AQUA ALTA and flood Venice with high tides... plus I have a set of ARIA sleeves. Yeah. Best theme?
Waiting for the Nadia remaster to air... HIDEKI ANNO WHEN HE WAS STILL ON DRUGS. I mean, if he Made Eva after he came off it, what did he make when he was still ON them?

Speaking of which, I got myself some Minato Hikaru sleeves, but I have no idea about what deck to use them for. Actually, I don't even play Constructed, so I'm just gonna sleeve my draft decks with them.
As the Winter season comes to a close, I finally get some titles off my "Watching" list, though, of course, that's only temporary. I should at least use the next week to watch something from my backlog. For example, Katanagatari.
Another ended on a pretty weird note. How should I feel about a proper mystery anime ending with a slaughter straight out of a splatter movie? Also, the answer to the whole mystery felt a bit like cheating, since there was no way to deduce the answer before it's revealed to you. Still, it was a good mystery series, and it was airing right when I wanted to watch some, so it's cool.
Shana certainly got one epic ending which is worthy of the series that I've been a fan of for 6 years. There are still lots of things to be explained (for example, the whole Leanan-Sidh deal), so I expect more spin-offs to come out in the future. Actually, the finale itself deserves something like an expanded edition, since I'm sure most of the viewers missed the whole Friagne deal (yeah, that one boss from the very first arc). Hell, I missed it too until I've read some stuff on the finale. I guess that means that JC Staff didn't adapt the novels that well, but I still enjoyed it a lot.
Lastly, PapaKiki takes its break before the inevitable sequel, and on a pretty good note, too. Hina and Raika fans are probably the happiest this time, but Miu and Sora did get whole episodes dedicated to them, so it's all good. I just hope that the neighbours won't be forgotten in the next season.
So, what do you guys think of the new trailer for the second season of Madoka? Looks pretty awesome. I like how it's actually a prequel and they explore more of what went on in Homura's back story.
Awesome. Glad to have somebody else with experience in the land of the rising sun in here. Care to tell us any more? Favorite series, etc? Me, I watch a little bit of everything. I'm somewhat of an anime hipster; I like strange and "artsy" forms of animation and lesser known series the best.
So C_D, what are your anime preferences? anything you are currently watching?
Personally im waiting for the new season to begin, im happy how the persona anime ended, Another's ending was also pretty good, although having read the manga a lot of the impact disappeared by the time the big reveal happened, also maybe its just me but i found i was waiting for a freakout moment that never happened.

Yeah, I got around to watching the end of Another, and I have to say... it was awesome. For what the series was, I really enjoyed it, and wouldn't really change much.

I agree, but you have to admit, that moment when mei looks at you after the guy asks if its all over was just the perfect moment for a Japanese stilled freak out moment like Ju-On or the like.

So... new saint seiya is out... dont know how i feel about it honestly, right off the bat seiya apparently dies which is a sad thing, it also appears that the series is following prior to the Hades/Elysian Arc because Seiay was only a gold saint instead of having the God Cloth.
It seems the new Saints will have elements they control? sigh... they are messing with the formula too much, seeing Shaina again was cool though...
Not much else to comment on right now.

Sorry. I am REALLY into Bleach. I have also been a Gundam fan for about 12 years now. I've actually been to see the 1/1 scale Gundam (full size). I like One Piece too. One Piece is probably the biggest anime/manga in Japan. Not a Naruto fan at all though. I also watch a few off the wall anime that most people have never heard of. Into Tenchi Muyo as well. I also have read a few good manga.
Space Bros turned out to be very, very nice. It doesn't feel immature even with constant genre shifts from comedy to adult drama, and it manages to be quite good at both of those without the usual Japanese comedy tropes, like overreactions or surreal stuff happening. That red folder was probably more funny than both seasons of BakaTest combined (though I must admit that I've only watched the first four episodes of that).
I like the way you're thinking, and really, with all the attention Nisin is getting lately, the announcement should come soon enough.

I'll be back Sunday with pictures and perhaps a few stories. You never know what may happen when the Westboro Baptist Church is involved.
Good luck, try not to kill anyone and be sure to bring lots of popcorn, s'mores is also an option
Anyway, some other thoughts.
Also, the lack of developing other characters is disappointing, to say the least. It's like saying "oh, the virus is gone, Undertakers disband!" Meh.

Ah well, back to watching Demon King Daimaou.

Watched the one for Jintai (jinrui wa suitai shima****a). OH GOD THEY'RE DOING THE HEADLESS PROCESSED CHICKEN CHAPTER IN THE SHOW.
Why can't July come faster?

Also, high five for going to see the IRL Gundam.
Meanwhile, I'm about to watch SpaceBros and Zetman, both of which came out today.
