Anyways, in addition to all the other celebrating going on, I think it's time for some promotions. The following four people look like they should be apprentices right about now:
This means that one of our current Acolytes can be promoted to High Mage, and two of our current Apprentices can be promoted to Acolyte. No need for nominations, just vote for one in each rank.
After those are taken care of, our new apprentices can choose their fields, although if you want one that's currently open for yourself, now's the time to shotgun it.
Okay, for high mage...
Vote: SC
We both joined the Izzet at about the same time, but he's always more active than I am. SC's a good guy, I think he should be a high mage.
What does being on the list mean AI, does it mean that we talk about the game? Or do I play in it, or what?
Being in the list basically means that we get to discuss the game aka. make reads off of people, decide how to use a role best, etc etc with all the other members of our clan that are playing while AI is the only one that can post and use our contributions in the quick topic to help him.
I'm still here guys! I've been pretty busy, getting jobs, doing chores, hanging out with friends, getting involved in Archenemy when I can. I wish I could post moar, but I doubt I'll be on much. I built Confusion in the Ranks and Endless Whispers, so that's something new. Wondering what you guys' thoughts are on Archenemy from what's been revealed.

I am the original Semanticore! (Meaning I coined and defined the term.)
I have Deckbuilder's ADD.
So is it just me, or does the archenemy have no chance of winning ever. The schemes don't seem to balance out the fact that its 1v2 or 1v3 at all.
I don't know about you, but having a player get a super awesome uncounterable effect for no mana each turn is quite a bit of an advantage if you ask me ;).
Mighty Guild of Izzet: I come before you seeking the aid of your finest chronomancer. Answer my query: If time is cyclical (Nietzsche, Jainists, and Nichol Bolas seem to think so, and I'm inclined to trust them on such matters...), how best would you recommend bringing about the end times, if at all possible? I was hoping some dooms day device built by zombified mergoblins, but I'm open to suggestions.

Not to mention that the Archenemy starts with 40 life and goes first and draws on the first turn...
I think the Archenemy can easily beat 2 players, is about even against 3 or 4 players, and has a hard time against 5 or more players.

In all seriousness, if existence is cyclical, there are no true "end times" because eventually new energy and matter will reemerge when the universe is reformed, which will likely lead to the rebirth of life. Seems logical enough.
At FNM I played Mythic Conscription to a Top 4 finish.
R1 vs. RWU PW Control (Super Friends): 0-2. I think this matchup is unwinnable, especially if I have to mulligan two games in a row.
R2 vs. GUB Allies: 2-1. He stole G1 with Bala Ged Thief and Rite of Replication on Oran-Rief Survivalist. G2 and G3 weren't close.
R3 vs. Eldrazi Overrun: 2-0. He was running a mediocre list.
R4 vs. Eldrazi Overrun: 2-0. He was running a better list but this matchup is still heavily in Mythic's favor.
T4 R1 vs. WU Eldrazi Tapout: 0-2. Awesome, another unwinnable matchup in which I have to mulligan both games.
I had fun though, especially since I stayed afterward and played Type 4 (5-card opener, infinite mana, one spell per turn) for the first time in a couple years. I drafted almost every counterspell I could, but my first-turn Debtor's Knell pretty much ensured that everyone would try to kill me, so I was the second player eliminated out of the five of us who were playing. My favorite play was countering Sphinx Ambassador before my second turn, allowing me to reanimate it and steal a bunch of awesome creatures from the n00b of the group, who obviously drafted dozens of sick dudes. Over the course of the game I stole Charnelhoard Wurm, Angel of Despair, and Empyrial Archangel. My least favorite card was my opponent's Pulse of the Fields, which he must have used to gain 200+ life over the course of our 2-hour game. I plan on playing again next Friday, and hope to actually get a chance to abuse Proteus Staff. (I got to live the dream for a turn when someone cast Infernal Genesis!)

If universe is cylicle then reincarnation exists. Take enough acid and it'll make sense

As the former Apprentice of Time Manipulation, I think i'm the go-to person for this subject, but unfortunately I never paid attention during lessons, so I'd just have to say that you simply need to look in AI's basement.

Has someone already PMed our Mafia list to rianalnn or do I have to do that as the clan rep even though I'm not participating? *feels stupid for saying this*
I'm of the opinion that mass LD is fine as long as the person who does it ends the game quickly. When someone drops an Obliterate just to reset the game (i.e., they're not even in danger of losing), that is nothing short of obnoxious.
Though I've been using more "fair" stuff like Ruination and a bunch of other off-the-map cards to switch things up.
How is the Izzet these days? winning as always im sure
In some ways i kinda miss you guys but the world of mtg seems so bad to me now (i left during the WTF BLOODBRAIDED ELF phase) so i dont think ill come back, but im going to say hi anyway
