Testing FTW. We were really hot and bothered about that deck, too. What turn does it goldfish the combo out at?
Turns to win during six goldfishes on the play, no mulls:
5, 7, 5, 5, 5, 5
I'd say it usually goldfishes out on turn 5, but because Etherium Sculptor is so fragile, it's pretty hard to win that quickly. Thoughtseize and other discard also hurts pretty badly.
:confused2:....That has to be one of the shortest posts I have ever seen you make ^_^;, no complaints though :p.
Nice to see you :).
Yeah, I've been really busy (and still am!). Good luck with the contest y'all. Sorry I can't contribute anything, still working with exams and schtuff.
Hey! What's up? I have a (technically) 4-day break in between my exams but it'll be filled with studying Chemistry *vomit* and playing tennis and stuff. So the chances of me stopping back in here in the next few weeks will still be very small.
Anyhoo...well, there's not much to say, as I don't have time to read the thread quite yet.
Hm. My uncle trained me in a little Brazillian Jujitsu when I was young. It's a shame I don't remember it very well, but some of it seemed to stick with me. Another one of those no-so-useful-but-still-maybe-useful-eventually skills I have.
2. Ours - Obv.
3. CMB - Just a solid rock deck
4. Dragons - Has even more discard than Aesir. Also, cheaper ways to win.
5. AEsir - Jaya isn't the best in this meta, but everything else is.
Move everything up one and add a deck to fill out #5 and I'll agree with it.
I'm not going, as a given of course. And I've noticed, I don't play that often, however when I do play, people like to pick on me. >_> And I'm not just talking about magic, I'm talking all games.
I generally play my fiance's beast deck which seems pretty powerful. It's got several things to cycle, some land search/mana acceleration, then some other things. It's mono green, but it does have mana benders in it so it can play the few white cards in the deck. Or I guess it classifies as a green deck with a splash of white, although there are no plains in the deck. Fertile Ground I believe is the card that allows him to do that. But it's also six in the morning...I'm going to try to sleep again.

Aww...Is it because you're a girl, or because you're not competitive?

GW Tokens seems like a deck you would enjoy playing. Unfortunately, it would also cost about $200 to put together.
EDIT @ Psi: Please post in this thread to secure our place in CC #3.

Are you taking IB by any chance? Because my chem exams are in 4 days as well.
I think 5'7 is on the short side for men, though it may be average for women. True, it may be the world average but that takes into account a lot of countries with poorer nutrition and overall many races vary in height, so in the predominantly caucasoid US, we have a higher average height than the world average which includes Asians and various indiginous races that tend to be shorter.
Fine, I'm short. But I'm on about equal terms with the rest of the people in my weight-division, so it doesn't really matter (for MMA fighting :uhh:).
However, every other person I train with has been a bouncer at one point or another. This would be great work for me (strippers and potential violence, all in one job?!), if only I was capable... Generally, the actual ability of a bouncer to remove the offender is a secondary quality (which is kind of stupid, I know some bouncers that couldn't remove a five-year-old ), whereas the size and intimidation-factor are usually the primary.

Only one deck is up for auction at a time. So the opportunity to get a deck is confined to a single 24 hour period and only when the deck is gotten is another one put up for auction.
That's unfortunate.
Who's going to be our bidder/backup-bidder?
Quote from wamyc »
Psi, you are not going to get promoted faster just for acting as posessive as a High Mage of the underlings. Remember, even a midddle-ling is still an underling.

That is indeed a surprise. I'm not great at judging viability myself, but I remember quite a few others saying that, if nothing else, Dimir's deck seemed consistent.
Then perhaps we can only hope that the other clans haven't tested it and assume it's great.

[Imagine scantily-clad women in a leud embrace,
one stretched out and victim to a chokehold of the other,
both with big stupid grins spreading across their faces.]
It's worth noting that Dimir's deck is consistent, but fragile. The decks we end up voting for (it's also worth reiterating that we cannot underbid ourselves, so we need to vote correctly our first and only time) need to have at least some disruption so as not to lose to Dimir's deck.
That sucks, DF. It looks like you need to find a more casual environment to play in. There are some very casual venues where people play strictly for fun.

Drunks and people thinking with their dicks tend to do very poor math in determining which fights are worth starting. They will tend to judge things more by size and amount of facial hair than anything.

If there is time I think it's a good idea to test the upper tier decks against each other to see how those matchups play out. Those decks may have surprising strengths and weaknesses that play out in the meta.
I had another appointment with my OB today. She said everything is looking wonderful and healthy.
Next appointment is in two weeks. Long one then for all the tests and stuff. Ohhhhh fun. <_<
Have you picked out names yet?
I know I would start sooner rather than later. I always end up having a very hard time naming things. In video games where they introduce a character that's going to be in your party, they always work the name in like "Hey, why don't you just call me ___" And I sit there for like 35 minutes pondering the best name for someone I just met. And that's just in a video game. In real life it would be a person and the doctor would ask me what the kid's name is and I would say....
Hi Tiki Man
Where do you play tennis? I used to play for my high school.
Hi, Ejdehah.
I play for Notre Dame Academy, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I'm going to Colby College (Waterville, Maine), and I'm going to try to play tennis there, too.

Me too. But I really like the names Vincent and Alice, so I guess thos'll be the defaults...? I dunno. I haven't played video games (or had children) in a long time.

It's not quite like that though, you do get to know the squib-inna-belly, after a fashion. Our little guy put out quite strong vibes - my partner knew he was a boy well before the first ultrasound, + while we discussed "possible" names right up until his birth, we knew what his name really was pretty early on.
I just kind of have this feeling that it's a girl. So that's why I'm not too worried about getting a boys name picked. I will have one just in case, but I'm pretty convinced it's a girl.

Whatever. See y'all later.
Where do you play tennis? I used to play for my high school.
No, just no.
Anything with discard, removal, counterspells, or a decent clock just wrecks the deck. Its definitely not as hot as it looks.
Move everything up one and add a deck to fill out #5 and I'll agree with it.
It got better, but had I not been sleep deprived I would have won that game (I made like 7 or 8 play errors :ugh:)
5-7. If it gets disrupted at all its screwed.
I don't like it. Good idea and concept though.
I wish. Instead, I'll be studying for finals.

Sadly, it's just not very flexible; it's basically a house of cards. One well-timed removal or discard spell screws up the whole game plan.
I can't because of work, but I've been testing with my friends a lot this week. Hopefully they don't get n00bed out.

I will as soon as I find out who the backup bidder is. Who is that?

I really should sleep, but I'm too lazy to go back home. I think I'll just put my head down and doze for a couple hours.
EDIT @ max: As he probably won't see your post for weeks, if at all...I'm pretty sure Tiki is in IB.

Reading the thread, and you'll know I am the main bidder and AI is the backup bidder ;).
I had found out the main bidder before posting, but didn't really have the incentive to edit that out of the post.
This does seem like it could be tricksy...
Fix'd
Also, you guys are legit added, even though the clan rep (me) didn't post the signup. Just stepping around that conundrum right now.

Angelica Rose for the girl, the boys name I had picked was Aaron Demitri. He and I really haven't had the time to sit down and plan out a boys name.
