I know, but my options (if he were really going to go the evil rout) were your death or slight memory erasure. Trust me when I say Deraxas doesn't want the other option. I'm looking out for you here!
Hm... I wonder who would win in a battle between the two of us (that's probably what it would come to if Szadek pressed the issue). We both counter each other so perfectly.
That would be an Arena match to watch.
Jen, that would probably be the last thing I could ever see Deraxas doing.
And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

Remember, the girl that just killed an aspect of herself before literally consuming her?
Yeah, I don't see her handling a pissing match in any way other than a duel.

...Something tells me that even should all arcane casters in the world unite, that the Grease spell would NOT be sufficient.
Roger would never Betray Deraxas. That's why he would do the mind alter. He wouldn't want to see her die. Roger doesn't have too many friends either. He would feel awful about it, because it is entirely his fault.
Oh, and Roger would totally cast Counterspell. Or wait until the winning turn to play Urborg.

Magic follows the laws of magic, which do not necessarily coincide with natural law.
Incidentally, I noted that your epic wizard is referred to as a tactical nuke. Caex should be pleased to know that he can blame me for that.
Psh. Everyone knows there are only 7 Laws of Magic. [/obscurereference]
As for the tactical nuke thing...:swear:
When I started that game, I really, really didn't expect someone to be flinging around multiple Maximized Polar Rays a turn. The party killed a level 27 Cleric. In two rounds.
Then again, I suppose I balanced that out after I threw a really advanced flying Entropic Reaper and a pissed-off Dracolich at them. The Reaper was basically immune to magic, and the Dracolich was strong enough to kill one character a turn in melee.
They didn't know what the hell to do about them. Only a stroke of genius by Tharivol pulled their collective ass out of that fire.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p
Haha, no, I know who Szadek, Lord of Secrets is, but these original characters of yours. And mentioning Caex and Godslayer?
I thought the Dimir didn't exist.... so why is the head honcho of the Dimir in MTG the RPG.... and giving orders to the only Player BU character in the game?
And Deraxas = Avatar's player character in MTG the RPG
just like Tharian and Tilia happen to be mine.

Damned lateral thinking.
You're welcome.
If I'm not mistaken, Tharivol is the sole survivor of the original party.
EDI: And Aramil would be my Magic character. Also, I would suggest reading some old quests of the project. You'll understand the allusions everyone makes, and you get to read some damned good roleplaying.
Jen said she'd get Godslayer going again sometime down the road.

Godslayer would be awesome. Perhaps to just.. start on a new thread and get new players. Alacar is up for it
As for MTGRPG.. I'll poke around. I'm perhaps too eager to get into my own quest. I haven't done much RPing on a forum lately. Daidream and I play on Darkness Befalls Us (check the link in my sig) which is owned and run by us, but we've been busy since college finals are looming.

I agree with Alacar that Godslayer coming back would be fantastic.
And yes, Tharivol is the only remaining original party member.
Zakir got a Death Attack from Vicente.
Larucan vanished.
The Dracolich sucker-punched Night-talon.
Qillanthe and Aramil got shredded by Winterwights.
Speaking of Aramil. Did you steal that name from Ti'rin, or did he steal it from you?

Oh dear lord... Fusion is insane (and complicated) enough as it is. Now Wizards can use it? I'm imagining an epic Wizard/Infernal hybrid for some reason.
And could you define 'impossible', please? Unless it has paragon dire epic weresquirrels, I could find a way out.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p
I plan on fusing with the dervish. A zillion melee attacks with 3 quickened spells to follow.
Impossible = stealing the Shadow Weave from Shar, with the aid of an epic dervish, a void incarnate who runs from everything, a barbarian, a rather notable NPC, and me.

Okay, I got nothing. You win.
Although launching a direct attack on Boccob seems like it would be pretty tough to pull off.
On a slightly related note: Shalandra + Dervish = epic win.

One of which is the fact that our spell sets work together really well.
The other is the fact that Deraxas calls Roger "friend". Do you wanna make an elf girl cry as she blasts you with a ton and a half of black mana??
