besides, I know this is gay taboo but...I don't like cosmos. Pink or otherwise. so sad. I was hoping it tasted like grapefruit
I don't particularly care for them either. They're fine, I just don't care. I much prefer appletinis, a plain vodka cranberry (i.e., comso sans the Cointreau, lemon zest, and pretension), or a Long Island. Stormy Nights are quite tasty too.
What on earth made you think they'd taste like grapefruit, though?
actually i'm with you on that. i have a lot of gay taboos though...not liking lady gaga for example.
Quite understandable. I do like her music; it's fun, well-produced, and skanky. But I despise the fact that she is so produced. Her music, image, etc., all feels very calculated to sell records rather than deliver her point of view as an artist.

Cuz I think of Pink Grapefruit juice when I see them :(. How a food or drink looks influences your perception of its taste. Probably.

She has the opposite effect on me. Because it's so over the top I just ignore her and listen to her music. I don't know who would see Lady Gaga and think "Oh she seems interesting I'll listen to her music." Most of them, I would think, should see her and go "Huh. She's strange I don't think I want to know more about her"
Wow. That is probably the most fun word I am sure to never, ever use in my lifetime.
Yeah I was going over my vocabulary and realized that a lot of the words I actually know are ones I use or at least could replace a word I use. There are some words I only know for Text Twist or word games like Lingo and Scrabble and Crossword puzzles but for the most part I don't really want to know those words since they've fallen into disuse (or were never used in the first place.)
Lateral thinking puzzles: I love lateral thinking puzzles. We played them at Christmas and I remember I used to play them as a kid with my mom (this game Mindtrap was really fun)
I made a couple up and my family and friends thought they were pretty difficult but still good. I'm thinking maybe I'll make some more. They're just not fun if no one else is in the mood to play.

Oh God I hated that game. I thought it was a terrible implementation of lateral thinking puzzles. I liked just casually working the puzzles with a friend/friends. An interesting side effect was that I had an observable increase in mental ability...
I used to play You Don't Know Jack (a computer trivia game, if you've never heard of it) with my friends. The game had a challenge called Gibberish Question where it would take a common phrase and substitute the actual spelling with letters that produced similar but different sounds. You had to guess what the original phrase was based on the clue. For example, "Gibberish Question" was displayed/pronounced as "Snickerlish Restgum". I never, ever, ever could figure those damn things out. Not even close. But one summer my friends on I went on a lateral thinking puzzle binge, and the next time I played YDKJ I got the gibberish question easily almost every time.

I generally don't like pop music, but I do enjoy the Gaga. I don't think I'd ever buy one of her albums, but I'll turn up the radio a smidge when she comes on.

I probably know the answer, but what exactly are lateral-thinking puzzles?

I loved that game! My parent's owned Vol 2, I remember playing that all the time.

A person gives you a scenario in which there is some sort of mystery to solve, and you solve the mystery by asking the person Yes/No/Unknown questions. The scenarios have a specific pre-determined solution but are presented in a very open-ended way, requiring you to base your questions on creative thinking rather than deductive logic. The most memorable and difficult puzzle I know is: "The music stopped. She died. What happened?"
Sadly, the internet is an awful medium for lateral thinking puzzles by virtue of being able to just google the answers. I suppose it shouldn't be difficult to devise your own, though creating ones that are compelling and fun to solve might be tougher.

ah I remember that one. I know the answer but it wouldn't be fair to spoil it. I love them in a party setting not competitive. I like the one moderator and everyone else asks questions to get to the answer not a team variant competing for points. The music lady is a short one. I like the ones that throw in irrelevant crap that you have to sift through but vague can be good too.
I thought Snickerlish Restgum was Gibberish Question?
I loved that game too!
One I made up is:
"Alex was found face down in the mud. Fortunately Alex was found by a kind gentleman and taken to a nearby hospital. And though dead quite some time the Hospital still found a use for Alex."
How'd Alex die and why'd the Hospital take him in if he's been dead for so long?
Aiight so more Real World discussion DC style:
OMG I canNOT believe those catty little twazzy biotches rooster impeded Andrew. I mean he's nerdy and straight and a liar but that's just rude. And then they call him a crybaby because he's upset about it. Gah. Another reason why I just don't like women.

Yeah, same. I have her five (good) songs on my iPod, they pop up on random every once in a while, and I don't hit the skip button which is a big deal (I'm pretty picky).
Honestly though, I like her more because I've seen some of her interviews on Youtube, and she seems fairly laid-back and, relative to her counterparts, pretty intelligent too.
Sorry dude, but this one's pretty straightforward. You like girls (girl?), I think that pretty much means you're getting your membership card revoked. lol

Every gay card has a hole-punch box for liking girls too. Heck, just last night a had a dream a really cute guy wanted me to hookup with him and his girlfriend.
Stupid alarm.

Yeah that's the wrong card you're thinking of Kraj. That's the polyamourous card and it usually has waaaaaay too many hole punches to still be called a card. More like a stencil at that point.

No, that's not a gay card, that's a queer card. They're different, like squares and rectangles.
ok who wants to play some pokemon? I'm trying to recover from being sick and so far it's been a star trek and pokemon day including several episodes of TNG and Pokemon Advance and Battle Frontier. Watched some Battle Revolution vids and I'm thinking I'll either play some BR myself or some DS.
Honestly though, I like her more because I've seen some of her interviews on Youtube, and she seems fairly laid-back and, relative to her counterparts, pretty intelligent too.
she gave the best interview ive ever read from a musician in maxim.
"My music isn't me jerking my dick off all over a piano trying to feel something. I make soulless electronic pop. But when you're on Ecstacy in a nightclub grinding up against someone and my music comes on, you'll feel soul."
also, i would very much like to be a friend of this clan. though i think the friends list should be titled "straight but not narrow"
I'm currently watching Latter Days. It's really gay. But the two main guys in this movie (Steve Sandvoss and Wesley Ramsey) are incredibly hot. I'm not going to give a background or a mini bio with these because I don't really know enough about either of them. Well except Wes Ramsey. He was on charmed as "Adult Wyatt" and he was adorable there.
With the lack of experience I have, I'm always getting problems with the former, mostly...
What, straightness or takenness? And ditto, by the way.

I second this motion, as long as we add a after it. Cuz, you know, everything in this forum is sexual innuendo. I mean, we're gay. We're supposed to be hypersexual.

Why don't you start by telling us about yourself a bit? A/S/L, favorite color in Magic, what you do for a job or what you study, etc etc. Same for you, Tommy.
Well, I'm certainly not the guy to ask about that one, I've made my fair share of embarrassing mistakes :p.... though I have gathered that a bit of luck is indeed a part of success in that department.

Is this where the rumor that she has a ***** got started? Or is that confirmed?

He's really cute in this movie, very hunky and extremely gay. Kind of a 10 things I hate about you with a gay guy and a mormon.
