I don't believe in gender lines. I mean I cant wear a piece of clothing just cause its "meant" for females? Gimme a break.
I'm not trans. I just like female gothic clothing. I find them more aesthetically pleasing. I like the term i created: "Androgy-goth"
Also, yes that is a pic of me in my avatar. As is the one on my profile.
Nice pic. I see that you're a wrestler. You look like alot of the wrestlers I know. Fishnet + wrestling = homoerotic goodness. I consider myself a Visce-Goth but walking around with dripping blood and dangling guts doesn't endear you to most people or small animal. Nah. The most I'd wear would be a bloody red cap. If I didn't have dreadlocks I'd do it. Dreads absorb everything and I'd have to wash my hair too much.
Ah I dont wrestle in my fishnet, wouldnt want to ruin it lol.
I do wrestle in a long pleater skirt though, no shirt. I have pics if anyones interested lol.
As for me looking like wrestlers you know, I once went to wrestle for a company here in michigan and almost everyone on the roster was goth or punk or emo. It was like hot topic puked on the WWE.
So does anyone here like, or even heard of The Birthday Massacre? They are my favorite band and I'm finally going to see them live in concert this saturday!!
I hope I get to meet Chibi (she's the lead singer)
Here's their latest video if anyone's in the mood to explore some new music
Wiccan_Witch, I'll go ahead and say this before a mod does (and we have alot of them in this clan): In the bottom right corner of your post is an "Edit" button; you should use that instead of making a second post, as double posting is againt forum rules. If you'd only done it once, I wouldn't say anything, but it's happened a couple times, so I just want to give you a heads-up before you get a warning.

Ah ok, thank you. I didn't think posting more than once was bad if the topics were different, but if its against the rules Ill squish everything into one post. Also i'm aware of the edit button lol
So, today I'm having lunch with my mother. It's sort of a big deal, because I haven't seen her in quite a few months (for those who don't know, our relationship is a complicated one. My father and his fiancee have custody of me until I turn 18). Lately she's been really good to our family, though, so I'm hoping this will go well.
In other news, I'm finding myself attracted to an employee of one of the games on the midway where I'm working. We chatted for a little while while I was on my break yesterday. I'll let y'all know if/when things develop further.
Oooeee. Good luck to you Tuatha!
Currently, I'm crushing on a guy who goes to the OTHER card shop in town. Now out of loyalty to the store owner of the shop that I go to, I don't go to the other shop for FNM, but since the shops hold drafts on different days, I'm not being disloyal by going to the other shop to draft. Plus I get to look at him a lot I guess it doesn't help that he's like 10 years older than I am or that he's got a girlfriend, but it's still nice to look at. Does it make me seem even more stalker-ish if I said I only started regularly going to drafts when I met him? Oh well, all relationships start out stalker-ish.

Do you know any judges who always impress you with their work ethic, knowledge, or attitude? Nominate them to be the next Judge of the Week!
Which guy Azn. If its someone I know/knew I might be able to tell you your chances at getting anywhere with him. I do know/knew most of the card chuckers in Kingston.
A member finally to Salvation and could never find my way to gaymers, until now! (Seriously I must have spent like 2 hours trying to find it..)
I would love to join your happy family here if you have room for one more. (I think I have all of my paperwork filled and I just got my "membership" renewed. That is if you need a card ID .)
If there is anything I really need to do please let me know as I would like to be one with you all.

Thanks goes out to DarkNightCavalier and XenoNinja
@Saku: PM'd you the guy's name, but the card shop that he goes to is a new one (opened Sept. 2007) so he may not have played before. I really don't expect to get anywhere with him, but I just like looking
@Roja: There's always room for one more... in bed. Welcome!!

Wait wait wait!!!
I thought it was dice chuckers and card floppers? Though it is a rather useless distinction, considering how blurred the line between the two usually is.

I just watched Patti LuPone's Tony speech. It was divine. Best part was when the orchestra started trying to play over her and she turned to the conductor and said "Shut UP! It's been 29 years!", which, for the uninitiated into the realm of theatre obsession, was when she won for Evita. In other news, she's writing a memoir! I'm excited.
I can't vote in the US, and I don't really follow politics here in Canada to any great extent.
Yesterday I had lunch with my mother! It was lovely, thank god. We've had a bit of a rocky trail thus far, so it was nice to see her in a straightforward, uncomplicated way before I moved.
The Democrats are douchebags but I'm far too disgusted with the Republican party in general to vote for any one of them unless s/he is clearly an outstanding candidate and her/his opponent is clearly awful.

Good for her! She's awesome.

The Golden Rule of forums: If you're going to be rude, be right. If you might be wrong, be polite.
She is. Laura Benanti, who played her daughter, also had a really cute speech. But Patti's took the cake, I'm pretty sure. And, really, she deserves it. It's been a long time, and she's a theatrical legend in her own right.

Forgive my illiteracy on the subject but, is she a stage performer? I have never really had the opportunity to see a big stage production. I have seen several of the local theater plays but, that is about it.
for some reason, "Card Flappers" makes me rofl. Perhaps I don't sleep enough...
O hai Roja! Welcome, pull up a bean bag.
On a somewhat related note, I'm not voting. Really, I don't give a **** about politics, and it's all a bunch of high-school drama, as far as I'm concerned.
I suppose that makes me an example of "What's wrong with kids these days", but...my take on it is that it doesn't matter who we put in office. They'll screw up once and we'll go from loving them (or at least tolerating them) to hating them overnight.
In unrelated news, I'm kind of pissed at Parkside's housing. They won't let me break my contract with them for fall. I want to live off-campus, but I can only withdraw from campus housing if I'm not enrolled at Parkside.
I know for a FACT that they have a waiting list for housing. So why not let me withdraw (keep my deposit for all I care), and let someone on the waiting list have it?!
Argh.

This election I'm just gonna flip a coin before going to vote. I doubt McCain would surprise us as president and I'm sure Obama would but not necessarily in a good way.

Vote Nader!!!! hahahah haha Oh, I just cried from laughing.....
I agree that we should not see any surprises from McCain. There is something about Obama that bugs me though and I have not put my finger on it yet.
