@Kraj: I hadn't realised you'd gone on holiday, though I did wonder where you were! Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Where did you go?
Thanks. I went to Florida for a couple days to visit my family, which was a fairly low-key but very good time. Then I met my partner and his parents in Las Vegas for a couple days of gambling and show-seeing. It was a decent time, no complaints but I'm not a huge fan of Vegas.
What do you think is the time of day that is the hardest or least pleasant for you? When it the time of day you least like to be doing things, such as work?
What about the best time of day? The time you have the most energy, or seem to be in the best spirits?
Hmmm... on big on my sleepy time, so any time I'm up way later than I should be or up earlier than I'd like to be I'm rather disheveled. Once I get tired at night, I'm completely useless. But in general I'd say my energy level tends to stay fairly even throughout the day. Though I do often get a case of the tireds in mid afternoon, around 2 or 3. The one thing I seriously can't handle is waking up before the sun is up. I just can't wake up when it's dark out.

Hello boys (and girls)
i will sell my Elvish deck tommorow, and i will buy the ROCK deck... do you know any good Rock declist? I have following cards:
-
2x sudden death
1x birds of paradise
1x llanowar vastes
3x Puterfy
1x Terror
I know that is not a lot of cards... I need a decklist...
thanks
How are you?
Hello. If you want to play a rock deck or anything similiar to it I would HIGHLY recommend funkbrew if its legacy you want to play the deck in. Funkbrew has the same philosophy as the rock and besides it steamrolls over threshold which saw a huge amount of play including 4 of those threshold decks made top 8 at the Legacy championships which had more then 160 players playing in the Legacy tournament. Besides funkbrew can take on alot of random decks like affinity, angel stompy, BW pikula, cephalid breakfast, and more as well.
Here is my teammates funkbrew list that he tops 4 at every 20-40 men legacy tournament he has been too which is probably more then 7 tournaments.
My version runs extirpate and engineered explosives though since I like to play with a bit more control and those two cards together can be devastating.
Well i am going to get ready for a 5 hour work shift soon see you all soon. *hugs and blows kisses to everyone*
I've steadfastly refused to post here since the clan's inception, on what I thought to be general principle. As it ends up, such a principle doesn't actually exist. Who knew. So I thought I'd see what all the fuss is about. As it ends up, it's a rather nice place.
So, Hello.
It is. A nice place, I mean. Welcome to the coffeehouse.
I'll be at WSU all day today, so I'll have to wait to put up the AotW until tomorrow. I was late getting home last night because Shiratsuchi was late by two hours in calling me on Skype! He said he'd call me at 7:00pm, and I think he misjudged the time difference from Japan, because he called me at 9:00pm instead. It's a good thing I waited that long.
@CD: Origins is fantastic, although the story is not quite perfect. It's sort of like Metropolis in that way - fantastic enough visuals that you don't really mind whatever they do with the story. Haruhi... I'll admit, I thought it was just going to be more fluff at first (and I've seen a bajillion school comedies), but the plot actually turns out to be very unique and interesting. You'll like the rest of it.
Oh... and, like Kraj said, *ahem* it be "Talk like a Pirate" day. Avast! Or something.

To all the Transgenders in the House: Today in my geology class a few people were talking about how a guy was getting a sex-change operation (he was turning into a she) and they were talking about how wrong he was and how disgusting it was. I got so mad that I loudly disrupted the class and nearly shouted: "What business of it is yours what she does with her body? It's no business of yours. Leave her alone, you have no right or room to judge. It's highly inappropriate, and just insulting and rude." The professor paused, but said nothing and continued with the lecture. They didn't say anything else after that.
@Alacar : I am very proud of you <3
Though instead of an outburst, perhaps instead present some facts. Perhaps talk to the teacher and see if you can have a few minutes to actually talk to the class on it. I can give you a run down on Neurobiology and other known or theorized causes of the condition. It is Biology after all.
And what do you mean I fight like a dairy farmer??? O_o

Thanks I would, but it's not biology that this occurred in, it was geology. Wrong science. I would've gone on, but I was too pissed to give a discertation.
And the appropriate response should have been "How appropriate, you fight like a cow."
Does anyone have a car so I can clamber in the trunk to hide my embarrasment, mmm darkness is so sweet!!!
well i got a car Little guy, just make sure you dont scratch the rims of my spare tire... ow and careful with the jack...it may do prison stuff on you if you fall asleep

So, Hello.
Hey, there! Nice seeing you around these parts again. I was sort of suprised to see you post yesterday. So how have you been?
@Times of day: I never feel very well right after waking up. I want to have a chance to rise to an activity level slowly. I did get used to eating right after waking up, which was difficult at first. I don't like to work or do any strenuous activity early in the morning. After waking up I often feel some pain or nausea, and just feel too fragile overall to really be energetic that early.
I like to work more in the afternoon or late morning.
My highest time of energy is usually evening, though evening and late nights are the times I prefer to have to myself, and usually when I like to do exercise. Evenings are good times for me to work on personal projects.
I prefer to stay up until at least one o'clock or so before going to sleep. I have a tendency to want to stay up all night, though I'm trying to sleep more regularly now even when I don't have anything planned for the next morning.

Yeah, that's rough. I hate having to get up while it is dark out. I used to feel very depressed when I'd wake up for work and it'd be dark out, and when I got off work in the late afternoon it'd almost be completely dark again.
All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the light that you see. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the peace that you feel. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to fill your heart on my own.
But the rainbow is an image of hope for many reasons, as it is a brilliant sight coming out of oftimes dismal weather.
Nice to see you back at Sally, T2. What drove you back after your long absence?
Boredom, more or less, which is incidentally the same thing that drove me away. I left because at the time I felt there were not enough interesting threads to post on in Debate, and because Ivory Tower, my love child, had basically faded away. I bounced around other forums for a while, found them to be only about half as interesting as Sally, so decided to come back. And here I am.

Hey, there! Nice seeing you around these parts again. I was sort of suprised to see you post yesterday. So how have you been?
I'm currently in the middle of a vaguely enjoyable downward spiral.
In all seriousness, I've been well. Working and writing have consumed nearly all of my time; when I do have a chunk of spare time, it's usually spent becoming mind-bogglinginly drunk and playing strip games with total strangers. (Strip DDR is a blast, really.)
How have you been, Mam?
@All: Thank you for your warm welcome.
@ Times of day: The absolute worst time of day for me is midnight. I work from 3pm-11pm, and then from 2am-7am. Midnight is usually the point where I slouch down on my couch after my first job, feel the overwhelming desire to sleep, but realize that I cannot. It's torture.
Welcome to the 'house, T2. Contrary to what some people on MTGS might say, this is indeed a nice place to hang out and spend some time.
I haven't been around a lot lately, so I'm not really sure what the conversation is about at the moment, but I will just say...Wild ARMs 5 is the best of the series. Tales of Legendia is also really enjoyable, in a SaGa game sort of way.
Yes, I am a geek. No, I never intend to apologize for it.
Hey, welcome. Always nice to have more of us fairer sex around
That was way too easy
@Alacar : I am very proud of you <3

I was never really that great at biology so i had to study for like 9 hours a day to get at least a B in human anatomy and physiology for me that class was very tough but for some people it probably was cake walk. Oh well I am much more of a physics, chemistry and math type of person in college.

I'm out the door to work very soon but gotta say, I'm a morning person and it drives my fiance nuts... can't stand lying around in bed when there's so much to do! Must come from living in Minnesota where in the winter you have to make use of every ounce of sunlight because the winter days are very much shorter, unlike the south.
Ahhw..Well its nice to hear from you again Snoopy..Im not around much these days..
Ohhh one last thing, going of the username ladyofthenight, you would'nt happen to be female would you??? No biggy just its nice to have a even number of females and males in the house, just makes the warm blooded males in the house feel more relaxed with new females choosing this place for nice cosy banter and great topics of discussion, erm I will shut up now, seen has how the hole I have dug for myself is practically unescapable, damn...

I used to like working nights tho, mostly because of the people. Night shift people are usually really trustworthy, older skilled and experienced workers who can be trusted to handle a lot of things on their own. Because there aren't a lot of support staff on at night, you have to be independent, self-motivating and know how to deal with a wide range of situations. You learn a lot working night shift at say, a hospital or in a plant. But then there's dead stretches when nothing is going on, so you have time to socialize and learn even more stuff.
The best part is no traffic coming to work, so you're almost never late, and when the day shift staff come in at 6 or 7 or whatever, they can help you finish up so you can leave on time. And then you can laze around in your pajamas and watch the sunrise before gong to bed. The very best part is, many places will pay you more to work eves and nights, and you can often land 10- or even 12-hour shifts, so you get 3 or more days off every week to go do stuff.
it does get lonely though, especially if you work in a cubicle. :/ Much more fun to work as a courier or liaison between several departments.

I currently work overnight at FedEX, and I absolutely love it, for all the reasons you stated. The environment is very laid back, the hours are perfect for my awful sleep schedule, I've never hit traffic, and I get to work independently (and know that others are doing the same). It's fantastic.
