I know what it is from hun. I grew up watching the show on TV in first run. I was just offering to see if I can make it look better. The higher the res original you have the better.
In the future, if you, or anybody, happens to need graphic work like this done, be aware that MTGS has its own subforum devoted to this type of request! Check it out here:
Good luck. I still have my first (and only, so far) AMV up on youtube. I'd make more, but I'd need to get a copy of some decent software (like Adobe Premiere, not Windows Movie Maker) first.
Yaaaaay thats so awesome Sakura-chan!
I <3 your awesome photo shop skills...
I am stuck with poor little mspaint
GIMP. It's free, and it can do nigh upon anything PS can do. Did I mention it's free? I've made all my banners, including the one I'm wearing now, with GIMP. It's very powerful if you download some some good brushes for it from DevArt and learn how to use it well.
Wow I'm popular tonite, good thing I brought protection.
Just a thought, Sakura... If you enjoy this sort of thing (which it seems you do), why not make your own shop thread in the Av/Sig forum, or ask an existing shop if you can join? It's how I got started. I started out with a thread that said "here's what I can do... does anybody want me to join?". I didn't get any responses, so I just started taking requests on my own, and now, several months later, well... Anime FX is here to stay (as long as I'm still on the site).
And Kev, I did see your request, and I'll try to see if I can do something with it tonight, since I'll be gone all day tomorrow.
Why will I be gone all day tomorrow? Matsuricon! *fanfare*. It's a smallish anime convention in Dublin, OH, that I'm going to spend all day at. According to their website, the video schedule is up in the air, so I'm hoping I'll be able to hijack at least one of the video rooms and/or volunteer to be video staff, and show some Potemayo and other things that I'd like to show. You'd be surprised how many times the programming schedule for the video rooms just falls through the floor, even at larger conventions. Either someone will forget to bring what they were supposed to, a hard drive or disk will go bad, or something else happens that just throws the whole thing off. Before, I've always been without my portable 60gb hard drive - but this time, I'm coming prepared. I've already bought my day's worth of snacks, beverages, etc, gassed up the car, and I'm downloading the last of the anime I want to show right now. Tomorrow looks to be very fun.
Actually, I need to update all of mine...my skills have improved and also mainy of my banners were done on Paint.
For being done in paint I have to admit that mine pale in comparison and I make most of mine in GIMP. I think that means I stink more than anything else but then again I don't make any except for myself... but I honestly did mean that as a compliment to you too.
Enjoy Matsuricon, Mr. Stuff! And, in a way, here's hoping their original plan doesn't fall through the ground. You do sound enthusiastic to show Potemayo though.
Only a small number of mine are done in Paint. The Galactus/Unicron one, the Dillemnas one. Those are two examples right off hand. Some of the older ones were started in Paint and then finished in Shop actually.
I concidered starting a thread, but not sure I want to be making banners constantly.
Yeah, it can be a hassle sometimes, but if it becomes too burdensome, you can always close it down for a while. I did that around the last holiday season, both because I was away from the site for a while, and because I was just getting tired of making banners. I felt like coming back in the spring, though - I found that I missed having a banner request to test my skills on every now and then. I seem to like working with graphics in general, which is something I hadn't realized before I started my thread here. I've found my shop thread to be really fun, as opposed to a hassle, most days.
By the by, has anybody seen the contest for week 100? We will be creating a new banner for the top of mtgsalvation.com, one to replace the flying angel. I'm not sure what I want to enter for the contest yet, but I'm excited by the prospect that one of us will get to have our work on the front page of the site, even if for a short time.
@IS:
At the last three conventions in a row I've been to, the video room programming has deviated from the printed schedule. Many times, I've seen them have video problems of one form or another and close down whole rooms entirely because there was nothing to show. The website for Matsuricon right now says something to the effect of "we really don't have a video schedule planned, so just give us some suggestions on the forum and we'll try to have stuff". Prognosis: not good for them. Hence, the reason I feel it will be no problem to just basically take over. If not, I've found that conventions are ALWAYS in need of staff, and video-rooms in general tend to be under-staffed since nobody wants to babysit the projector all day. I don't think it'll be too much of a problem to get them to play Potemayo, one way or another. All you really have to do is demonstrate that you know what the hell you're doing. I can run a projector and WMP better than 90% of con-staff out there, because I've had experience doing it for three years running.

That is freaking awesome. I'm tired of that sappy old logo with the ARM of the angel poking out. It's blasphemy I say.
Sorry guys.. I was napping for about 4 hours. I feel great now though.
Sakura, your shoppery skill continues to amaze me.
And finally, I am nasty and dirty, and I need to get what's coming to me. (Feel free to take this out of context). I'm off to shower and eat, which my parents have more than likely cooked without me because I was sleeping, so I'll have to fend for myself. That's fair enough.
It seems I've been spotted...
*ninja poof*
hi everyone, That deck i posted ages ago is almost done I'm sooo stoked, I just need one more deep-sea kraken and two more merfolk looters, then i need to start on the underground rivers and river of tears... *cries*

Glad ya liked the cookie.. Ok crankin' on homework.. done with finding crap, now I need to write it all down in a little over an hour... wish me luck, this stupid thing is due by midnight.
So... It's 12:30am here. How did you fare? *curious*
Bah... I spent entirely too long fiddling with this thing:
Sometimes when I'm making sigs, I just get so absorbed in the work I look up and an hour or more has passed. That's sort of what happened here. I should be in bed already. *yawn* I've got to get up early for Matsuricon, and I've still got to look up and write down directions to where I'm going. Time to head off to Mapquest.
I was originally gonna come on here after work and post something awesome that happened today...but got distracted. Then I got hit with some awful news and it doesnt seem important really anymore. Ill post the good news after though.
I just found out one of my better friends online killed himself this week. There was a collection on MTGO in his name to get flowers and stuff. Anyone wants to donate let me know and Ill direct you to the right people.
I am a tad distracted right now. Sorry Sammy, your banner will have to wait a bit I am thinking.
The good news;
I was waiting for the bus home when one of the girls i share the bus with walks up. We rarely really speak.
I am wearing my sexy black Guess jeans with the shiny Vinyl 'G's all over. They get alot of comments.
She says "I really want those pants"
I say "So do I...oh wait...I already have them....woooo"
She says "You are always so Glamourous"
And I was speachless.

When I get home Ill be dropping by again. See you guys later!
You gots to remember HunterFo-Fo that the time difference is big. Your post came at 5:02 AM EST. That means unless people are posting in Hawaii nobody is probably gonna be around that early in the AM.
Speaking of too early in the AM, I'm posting this at 9. Landscapers outside woke me up
A few thoughts of the day/yesterday: Why is curling an Olympic sport?
Why are RPG Fanboy's so much more adamant about their games than other gamers? I'm a bit of an FPS fanboy myself.
Aside from Mr. Bean 2 and Ratatouille, when was the last time any of us have seen a movie get the G rating? Isn't it time to just kill the G?
The NFL is the most overtly shallow organization in the history of the world.
I was a approching my account limit and they called me three times (twice within an hour of each other) to tell me this. They were perfectly happy when I said I get paid this weekend and planned on paying my bill then.
Today my phone is disconnected.
Crap, first decent overstuffed paycheck all summer and now I likely will have to pay a reconnect fee!!!
Why are RPG Fanboy's so much more adamant about their games than other gamers? I'm a bit of an FPS fanboy myself.
Eh, just because. On the surface it's because RPGs take a lot more time and effort to complete than other kinds of games, so people feel more attached to one after they've finished it. RPGs are admittedly a very different genre of game than other types like FPSs and platformers, so the fanbase will obviously be different.
Also, there's what I like to call the FF7 Syndrome. RPGs going mainstream really hurt the industry; whereas before that abomination came down, RPGs were always a smaller market with more room for quality and less room for mindless splash marketing, after FF7 it was much more the latter and less the former. The industry's only recently recovered from that debacle. Anyway, when games are sensationalized they tend to attract "that kind of person." The kids who spout off words like n00b and pwned in serious conversation and whose week is ruined if their Starcraft map glitches. So that's a BIG reason behind the overzealous RPGamer fanbase in some ways.
Boy. I keep proving myself to be a bigger and bigger geek with these diatribes.
I'm just poking fun of a friend
The siggie looks good, but is kinda grainy. If you like, PM me the pic you used and I can see if I can make it a bit less grainy.
Ask FoolyCooly, he'll tell ya.
i can supply some really high quality macross photos if you would like
i know a particular image samurai solder would like (better than th one you suggested)

Ooh, payday for Sakura-chan. Wonder what that means for me
