Over here, you can get a decent suit (provided you're not a particularly distorted shape) for around £100 from a high street place. I would guess it'll be less in the US, as most clothes are, so you could probably find one for... $160-170? Not exactly cheap, but it's never a bad idea to have a suit handy, as it covers pretty much any occasion short of a wedding. You don't want a dress suit (that suggests evening wear), just a work one.
Obviously a fully tailored suit is massively expensive, but it's also not really necessary.
Actually, not an hour later, she already realized she was going a bit overboard and suggested simply a new dress coat and a pair of dress shoes instead. That I can handle. I'm going shopping for the coat today, and I'll have to special-order the shoes online due to my cursed odd foot size. If you've ever had to try to find men's shoes in the size 5EEEEE - it's ridiculous.
Also, regarding my trip, I just got this back:
Thank you so much for your response about our interviews on July 17th. We would be happy to have you join us but have already received the maximum number of confirmations for the session. You are therefore invited to attend an alternate information meeting and group interview, and we hope you can join us on Tuesday, July 24th, 2007.
I'm delayed by a week, but I'm actually a bit relieved about it. It gives me the extra time I need to really thoroughly plan the trip and get some of the stuff I need, like clothes. I'll have time to get together an itenerary plan as well. I figure this may be the only time I ever go to NYC, so I might as well do some sightseeing while I'm there. The interview itself is only 15 minutes away from Broadway.
@Avatar Exchange:
PM sent. Hehe. For the record: the way to annoy me the most involves, rather than making a joke about liking anime, making a joke about anime(s) that I don't like. If we're going for that. Giving each other avatars we would like could be just as fun.

The sights are great, I love the sights, but spending all your time in Manhattan is a waste of time in the city. Broadway is too expensive for anyone as is most of midtown. A lot of the real best parts of the city are in downtown or in Brooklyn, I suggest you take a train and make yourself your own adventure that doesn't end at 23rd.
Well I just came home from work today. My girlfriend got sick and threw up in my car last night and the smell hasn't left me and I threw up...which is why I am home at the moment. I took a shower and I'm feeling a lot better thank you.
I'm very excited cause I'm going to see Dispatch at MSG on friday and then I will be seeing Reel Big Fish on sunday, both of which sandwich Magic Game Day. It should be one hell of a weekend.
OMG Are you people all blind?? Kevin really needs our support right now!! He even told me he's thinking of leaving?? Is he that meaningless? I am insulted. I leave the house for 3 hours to see Harry Potter and my friend posts this and you're all laughing about Sakura? Hmph!!
Kevin, I am really sorry you had a bad day.. it seems like it was hell, and I know about working in department stores and with snotty customers.. but I can't imagine the HEAT! *Alacar offers a and some nice cool milk
Shame on you all for not helping someone who needed support. He's thinking of leaving us, for godssake.
And to those of you who think I'm overreacting and that he's just had a bad time.. well, isn't support what the Coffeehouse is about? Sure we talk and chit chat but you guys are all my friends, and I would expect more.
Yeah well this was actually the worst day that i had however as everyone said this happens to everyone. Yeah I dont think your overreacting either i think i am the one that overreacted of course this isnt the first time this has happened. I am sorry since i stirred up any trouble which is one of the main reasons why I want to leave.
Eek! I clicked the quote button before I even saw that. Still. no excuse and I apologize for my quoting haste.
Sorry to hear about the crappy day. I had a similar experience at Warped tour last week, it was scorching hot (34C) and we had no shade and no phone to call for a ride. We ended up walking 30 mins to the nearest phone (it was hosted at a race track outside of the city, and nobody there seemed to want to lend their phone). The next day, I woke up to my manager calling and wondering where I was because they changed my work scedule without even telling me about it. It wasn't impressive.
Sorry to hear that your day was crappy. We all have them, so be resilient and just wait for a better day.
*huggles* I apologize for missing your post the first time.
*extra huggles*
Yikes your day sounds pretty awful as well. I hate when managers change your schedule without you knowing thats not being proffesional at all and sometimes it can effect the business big time. I am sorry that happened to you though but im happy your posting here again and im glad your surgery and everything else went well for you. *hugs purpleD back*:)
So, let me get this; he posts because he has a bad day, and you expect everyone to go crazy about it? Is that because he's a regular, so obviously everyone should care about him more??
But, I post saying I'm having trouble initiating a relationship with someone who I really like and it makes me question my sexuality through that, plus issues with my parents and everything, and I get, what, one person vaguely concerned?
Oh. right. I get how it works here now. Thanks.
---
@PurpleD: OH! Man, you went to Warped Tour? I hate you! Argh! Man, Coheed, Anberlin, Mayday Parade and Rocket Summer were playing at that! How was it, man? I want all the details!
Well sorry but this isnt the first time this has happened this has happened quite a few times in a course of a 5-6 months of time. Well i am sorry that your having issues about your relationship charlie. Well the suggestion i have for you is just take one step at a time a great relationship comes with time and not just in one day.
Hey Kev, completely missed your post, sorry... But you should know by now, as do you Alacar, that not everyone's posts get immediately noticed... Its hard to follow the conversation in here a lot of the time, and oftentimes Kevin's posts are the same thing everytime, so we expect the same cheerful post from him so the post gets skimmed, without realizing it... Which I really do apologize for, kiddo... But you don't need to leave....
And Alacar, buddy.. you of ALL people should know how hard the CoffeeHouse is to catch up on... You yourself were apologizing for your absence, and you made some pretty big misunderstandings, just last week! For this reason, I hardly think this gives you grounds to lecture us about missing a post.. yes, we're sorry about it, and there's absolutely nothing wrong about pointing out his post for emphasis, or commenting on it yourself... But I really didn't see a need for the tone you had... I could be wrong, but I sincerely feel that it was a honest mistake on everyone's part... Also, I am a bit interested to see how you are always the one standing up for Kevin.. He needs to stand up for himself, not have you do his work for him. Perhaps I'm out of line, but this is how I feel, and due to this, CharlieD feels left out and assumes its because he's not a "regular"...... As you say, the CoffeeHouse is indeed for support, but honestly, this thread goes by so fast that its near impossible to read every single post in detail... I can think of at least 5 people who have complained of being ignored when they post here. But as we have covered many, many times over in the CoffeeHouse's history, the way to get noticed is to keep posting and even bring up what you said another time before you get frustrated and suddenly threaten to leave... I've said it before, I've had it a little much with the repeated threats to leave... Its getting a little old... But because Kevin didn't say it himself, I'm not taking it to heart, but rather... Alacar, seriously... You should know this place better than that.. we ARE supportive.... We just missed his post, and if he truly feels bad about how we reacted, he should post again and bring it up, rather than bring you in to yell at us.... I hope you don't feel like I'm being too harsh, I'm just trying to remind you of what we do stand for.. and how we've talked about this before
Well i mentioned about thinking about leaving in aim although i didnt expect alacar to mention it in the house but im sure he means well. Well the main reason why i didnt just mention about leaving in the house because mainly i dont think people would have tooken me seriously since i mentioned this before and I just dont want to stir up any trouble.
Nope, some of us were stuck on a delayed train, then buried under enough work all morning that we could only log in to Salvation a few minutes ago. There were only 3 posts in between Kevin's and yours, as well. People do care, but they often have their own issues to deal with as well, or are simply too tired to think of the best way to console somebody. We do always try and get to things, but sometimes things we want to deal with get buried under piles of things we have to deal with.
@Kevin: sounds like a pretty lousy day all round. It always seems to be the way that everything has to pile itself into one bad day, rather than spreading problems out into manageable chunks. Still, hold onto the idea that the next day will be free of those problems (except the heat, I guess - I'm assuming Nevada in July doesn't have cool days to break up the pattern), and things seem brighter.
@Charlie: I couldn't really offer advice on a situation making someone question their sexuality, as it's not something I've ever had to deal with. Like I said to Alacar, sometimes things just get missed, or buried under other things, or people just forget to reply. The only thing I can say about the situation is that there could be a whole range of reasons for having problems committing to someone - inexperience, panic, fear. From what gay friends of mine have told me, they tend to question their sexuality more when something like this occurs, as not being heterosexual still carries a stigma of being somehow 'wrong'. I wouldn't go questioning who you are as a first resort, though.
And Alanna? I loved those books when I was younger. I'm pretty sure that at one point, I re-read all four of the series over a long weekend.
I'd consider a CoffeeHouse avatar exchange (as long as Seph isn't involved and draws me - I suspect petty vengeance would come into play :)). Though I need to backup my buff winged drow first. After changing it once, I lost the file, and it took me forever to find it again.
Yeah i agree because i never really had a bad day once until yesterday and i believe it did pile up on itself into one really bad day. I wish July here would cool down but it averages 115-120 degrees everyday im just glad i have two days off in a row. Yeah im pretty sure today will be alot better thanks for the support.
@ Kev: You weren't ignored. You never are... This place usually moves too fast and people just get drama thrown in from all angles, so people miss things. Hell, it's happened to me more than once
We all loves ya really
@ Tanth: Oh, please let me draw you if we do an avvy exchange
That would be..... interesting?
@ Sakura: Some of that conversation with Alacar: Scary.... I think?
@ CharlieD and Omna: HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!
That is all for now.
Oh, and we sold $1800 worth of Land Rover parts on eBay last night
Yeah i guess your right i think im the one that overreacted although this has happened before in here but that was at least a couple of months ago. Yeah well i love everyone in here as well and the main reason for me to leave is i just dont want to stir up and continue stirring up more trouble.
With it being 3am at the time of my post, and it now being 7:45am when I am making this one, I can only apologize for my rude behavior earlier, causing undue scorn to everyone else. My throat has thoroughly been jumped down, and not without good reason. For that I am sorry. Especially to CharlieD. I just don't want Kevin leaving, I guess.
editing: Now that I have a little time before I leave, I want to further apologize. I guess I forgot that the Coffeehouse, while a social being that strives to support people who come here, also moves a mile a minute. I DID overreact a little, yes, but only from tiredness and a wish that my friend would not leave. People are welcome to go as they please, but I would rather Kevin leave on good terms to go do other things than to just go because he was ignored and felt bad.
Which brings up another issue that Omna so obviously pointed out: Kevin is playing the Boy Who Cried Wolf in that he's repeatedly threatened to leave, and never done so, and never really stood up for himself. Knowing the guy a little more helps, though, Danica. Kevin is a very sensitive person who DOESN'T have a lot of courage, and while he is confident when it comes to sitting down and playing Magic, he feels that he isn't much of a person in any regard. That is a sad thing to hear, so I wanted to make sure he knew he had support. I care about the guy, okay?
In any case, Omna IS right--we all overreacted just a bit just now.. Kevin, myself, Omna, everyone, but our points aren't less valid. I only wish to say that I would rather not drag this out, since it's obvious things are already blown out of proportions. Finally.. please come back, Kevin?
Coffeehouse Avatar Exchange: So.. to change the subject.. how we gunna do this? I just got a new avvy but it can change no problem. Any suggestions, anybody? I'd be intrigued to find out what someone gives me
Ugh.. 6 hour shift today at Wal-Mart. And only about 4 hours sleep. Damn you, Harry Potter! Oh well, the movie was worth it.
Ouch only 4 hours of sleep and a 6 hour shift well i hope everything goes by pretty fast for you alacar buddy.
Well thanks for your support and i agree that i should leave if i really have to like going into the military or something but I sincerely apologize too for saying that i am going to leave but as omna said before i should know better then that and she is right since ive been here for about 6 months i should know what coffeehouse is capable of. However sometimes when your under the stress hat you tend to forget about alot of things.
First: New avvy! I think I'm gonna need another for the exchange but unfortunately it follows Sakura's idea (though it's not the same character). Hopefully that'll be OK and the avatar will actually fit size requirements. Anyway, now that that's out of the way...
@Kevin: That's Las Vegas for ya... I sympathize in a way because as it is I can't take 90 degree heat. Thankfully you didn't overheat and dehydrate and send you to the hospital though so it could've been far worse.
@CharlieD: I don't think you're really overthinking it that much. Probably in some areas but the actual length of relationship you want right now is pretty important. It's all in how much you can take should it eventually be over...
Not much has been happening here like usual. I've been trying to heal up my elbow and hand. Finally got some movement in the elbow yesterday so it actually feels somewhat normal again. Both parts still look completely ****ed up but at least they're better than they were.
Other than that I've been checking out a few anime series I never got a chance to see till now - Azumanaga, Fate/Stay Night, one or two others I can't remember off the top of my head. Good stuff all.
Here's a question though for everyone since I noticed this in a few people already. Is anyone else's interest in Magic fading as of late? The last time I actually played was in April though I plan to go to Magic Game Day if I can get a ride out there. Besides MGD and going to an occasional FNM, I really haven't been THAT interested in playing these days...
I dont think im interested in magic fading since its a really innovative game and i just like playing magic with a bunch of strategy instead of relying on a really good deck that has put up great results in any tournament. Casual will always be fun at times though.

Well hopefully the rest of your day goes by good for you. Sorry about what happened that your girlifriend got sick in the car. I had a friend that his wife got really sick once and he was going to come pick me up so me and him could hang out but that didnt work too well oh well. I always loved site seeing as well and i like cruising around especially here in las vegas seeing all of the lights at night is pretty cool.
Not ignoring you babe, but my net time is more limited lately so I read less of the actual posts here since I miss whatever is posted when I am not at work. I just didn't see your post. The start of your day yesterday sounds close to mine (I had to run to work in the heat yesterday) even if I miss your posts and do not reply, you are still one of my favorite people
When i posted that, I actually had a feeling someone would sig that. It made me giggle alot typing it actually lol
Well it is Chun Li, her colors are pretty standard.
Thanks by the way. It is really appreciated. I cannot wait to see your comic.
I missed your original post too. I would love a recap of the situation though, I am very intrested, and can offer some meaningful advice for sure since i have been there.
Thanks sakura for being supportive. I also love the picture of chun li she used to be my favorite character to use back in my hay day in street fighter although my specialty is soul calibur.
@hunter44: Goodluck to you as well in your college studies im sure you will do fine.
Once again i am sorry i stirred up any trouble of leaving but of course i wasnt really thinking straight last night which i appeared to be irrational about this whole me getting ignored in the house. So i really apologize as well.
Well thats it for now i am going to eat lunch and then get ready for a 8.5 hour shift. See you all later.
@Cecilia: I'm sorry that I didn't try to be helpful. Usually I'm much better with this sort of thing and I'm sorry I've been a bit flaky lately. I'm home for the day so you have my full and undivided attention until I have to go eat.
Speaking of which. I'm going to go make some soup.

Yeah i know your usually are really helpful and i really thank you for that. :)Have a good lunch and ill talk to you after i get back from work.
see you all soon. *hugs and blows kisses*

Kevin, it sounds like you've been going through a lot. I'm sorry you had such a bad day and felt alone, and I also apologize for not being around very much lately. *hugs*
But consider something for me, okay? One thing you've said is that you feel like you can't really join in the conversation, that you don't seem to be into the things others are into, and that when you try to bring something up (such as your day) no one seems to respond to you. But just look at your last post! You addressed all of those responses from others, and other topics that they were talking about. You see, you're part of the conversation, too. Even if it's just Magic, video games, and common experiences, those are pretty big topics.
By the way, the term "stress hat" is cute.

All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the light that you see. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the peace that you feel. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to fill your heart on my own.
But the rainbow is an image of hope for many reasons, as it is a brilliant sight coming out of oftimes dismal weather.
Series: Chobits
Episodes: 26
Genre: Comedy, Romance, Drama
Studio: CLAMP
In the near future, personal computers take the form of attractive women, called Persocons. Hideki Motosuwa is a poor student who failed his entrance exams to get into college. So, Hideki is forced to move to the city, get a job, and attend cram school in hopes of passing the next college entrance exam. He of course wants a Persocon for himself, but is way too poor to afford one. One day, while passing a building, he finds a Persocon in a trash heap.
However, his new find doesn't seem to be like the others he's heard about. She doesn't seem to have any operating system at all, and only says "Chii". As Hideki learns more about his Persocon (aptly named "Chii"), he finds out that she is not of any known type, and most likely some sort of homemade model. He also learns of the rumor of the "Chobits", Persocons with the ability to think for themselves, instead of running only complex programs. Find out what happens between Hideki and his new Persocon, as she learns more about her environment, people, and life. (from ANN)
Two words folks: Pansu Kudasai. That says it all right there. Hint: episode 4 is one of the most classic episodes in all of anime. This is an absolutely classic love-comedy by CLAMP, and it's got a lot of good commentary on life as well. It's slightly ecchi (perverted) in places, but never really for the sake of that - it's all done in the name of comedy or dramatic effect. Chobits also features one of the most unique, different, and oddly catchy soundtracks in all of anime. In my opinion this is one of those anime staples like Bebop, Trigun, and Kare Kano that everybody who likes anime should watch at one point or another.
It is really good, in my opinion one of the classics of anime. Chii is absolutely precious as far as how she reacts to things. I was surprised they have entire episodes of it on Youtube. The soudtrack is awesome as well. Oh, and Mamelon's avatar is from the Full Metal Alchemist movie.
@Stuffs: That is certainly an interesting plot for a show. It's ideas like that that make me feel like American animators are lazy and unoriginal. Then again, anime's appeal to me is the beautiful design and complex storylines. Where do you find all of these different shows anyway Stuffy?
I find out about new shows from lots of places. Anime Conventions are a great place to find out about things - for example, the first time I heard of Golden Boy, Risky Safety, and a number of other series was at an anime convention. I also hang out on a lot of different anime forums. You can get an idea of some new things to try just by looking at what people talk about and what they seem to like. It seems like every other person I talk to about anime has at least one niche series that I haven't heard of before. Of course, I had a great community to talk about anime with in college, too. I was the president of the anime club, and I'd hear about new stuff or old stuff that people wanted to see from just about everybody.

Those are some really interesting forums. I KNOW that there is lot of anime out there but I didn't really KNOW about it if you catch my drift. I guess if talk to people who know so much about one thing, you'll pick some stuff up.
BTW for those of you who have ever seen Coming to America, that isn't Samuel L. Jackson's first role. He was in the movie Ragtime in 1981 before that. Just a quick tidbit of Samuel L. trivia.
Ouch only 4 hours of sleep and a 6 hour shift well i hope everything goes by pretty fast for you alacar buddy.
Yeah.. thanks bud. Also, I'm glad you came back! Mamelon is right though--you're more involved than ya think! You don't have to make a big splash to be with this group, you just have to post
Chobits: I kinda liked it, but it kinda irked me too. I didn't finish it. Not my cuppa tea. Still, I agree that it IS one of the good anime shows out there.
Speaking of weeklies, I need to post Geek Mp3s!
Yay! I got my paycheck! $358 this time. Combined with the heap of moneys in my wallet, I can afford 2 boxes of Tenth edition, pay my credit card, and still have cash in my wallet. Especially after my sister pays me back.
Work sucked.. it could've been worse, but it was no fun..
I'm sorry that work was so hard on you man, 9 hours is a lot, for any job, let alone Wal-Mart. It's days like this I'm sure you wonder why you even took the job in the first place. I'm sure the prospect of Xth is what kept you going through the day.
Oh totally.. working at Wal-Mart gets on my nerves every day. Seeing those mindless drones go in and out of it like zombies gets my soul.. but the money is good, I really needed a job, and I've been able to pay my bills and have spending money for stuff like Tenth Edition. Hopefully when classes start, I will take my brother's place as a library computer lab attendant, and while I'll get less money, it'll be far better.

Nice new avatar.. Crimson Avatar
I know what you mean. Instead of making $4000 for 10 weeks at a community pool, I'm making $2300 for 8 weeks at a private day camp. I'm taking a big pay hit, but the job is much better, so it works out karmically.
World Series of Pop Culture starts in 45mins and I've become addicited to this show. Has anyone else?

Well i do have alot to talk about with people that i normally talk to like you, alacar, a couple of my legacy friends, and with my real life friends. I can see your point though and i understand and ill make more of an effort to work better with the situation i am in. Thanks for the advice mamelon. *hugs back*
@Cecilia. I didn't try to be helpful because I skimmed over it. I'm not trying to be offensive or anything though I just ignored the last three posts before me.

Hey all.. I'm back from work.. turns out it was a nine hour shift, not a six. And it nearly killed me.
Yeah.. thanks bud. Also, I'm glad you came back! Mamelon is right though--you're more involved than ya think! You don't have to make a big splash to be with this group, you just have to post

Nice going on the paycheck. Blah 9 hour shifts i bet they had to let you stay longer thats what happens to me alot now. Sorry to hear that your day went pretty bad but im glad the day is over for you.

Hopefully when classes start, I will take my brother's place as a library computer lab attendant, and while I'll get less money, it'll be far better.
Nice new avatar.. Crimson Avatar
Yeah i agree i like CA's avatar as well. Yeah at least most of my customers put on smiling faces but then again walmart is totaly different store then Vons/Safeway is.
Hmm.. mom ordered pizza.. I just downed half a cheese pizza.. I feel better, though I probably should take some sort of nap.
Mmm cheese pizza. Glad you feel better alacar! *hugs* I remember eating 2 extra large pizzas at a birthday party it was pretty cool because my friend's mom let me. I doubt i could eat that many nowadays though unless i havent eaten anything all day.
Well i am going to call it a night in here. See you all tommorrow. I hope everyone has a great night and take care everyone. *hugs and blows kisses to everyone*

You see, I'm tryiing to decide which one is best for Facebook... the obvious choice normally would be the second one, but the first one is great because it shows my interests (the gaming shirt, the Star Wars book, and the book on my lap), but my expression is horrible! The other one is great but you can barely see the shirt i'm wearing (a gift from Ryan by the way) but I love how you can see the color of my eyes and my smile is great...
I don't know... Sorry this isn't a very content-full post, but I wanted to ask your advice, folks
Thanks Seph I love Limecat. The real thing that makes it work is the custom tag
As for movies.. we get ripped too. About $5.25 for a ticket, and $16 or so for a combo popcorn/2 drinks, so it's about $25 for 2 people.
Well.. I'll see y'all tomorrow. I have a dentist appointment tomorrow.. both a cleaning AND a crown on my broken tooth.. ugh.. I'm gonna ask if they can just knock me out for the crown.
Oh, man. That doesn't help your case.
I'm really envious. I missed out on seeing Coheed when they were here, and TRS haven't come here yet. I've seen Anberlin, though. and Fall Out Boy. And Ben Folds.
Did TRS play any of their new songs? What did Coheed play? I want details, wench, details!
You saw Ben Folds! I freakin adore Ben Folds!
As for TRS, I actually wasn't really familiar with them, but my friend dragged me along to see them play and I was really impressed. I'm not sure exactly what they played, but my buddy said they played most of their newer stuff and also did a cover that he had never heard before.
Coheed actually talked for most of their time, and went 10 mins into the next band's time ( I think it was Cute is What We Aim For). They played some of their older goodies like Blood Red summer and they played a couple of songs that were from their upcoming album
Maybe I'm overthinking the whole thing, and I just need to calm down and work on it as it comes. He's an amazing guy. He wants to take it slow, understands what I'm saying, he's gentle, funny, and it's good he's gorgeous too.
I'd say you're overthinking things too. There's no need to make such a difficult decision for the sake of making a decision. take what life gives you, use it as something to study and then take action (no, not that kind of action) when you feel the time is right.
Those are some really interesting forums. I KNOW that there is lot of anime out there but I didn't really KNOW about it if you catch my drift. I guess if talk to people who know so much about one thing, you'll pick some stuff up.
I second these thoughts. Lots of my friends are huge anime fans, so I see lots. The latest was Full Metal Panic, and it was hilarious. Too bad it always seems like I'm just following what they watch, though

Hmmm... sucks that the people you work with are lame. Personally, I'd rather have a crappy job with great people than a great job with crappy people. Since you see so much of your coworkers, I find that they make a huge difference in your workplace experience.

Anyways, I just got back from Harry Potter. It was the first time in 3 years that I've seen a movie alone, but I still had a total blast. Sometimes I get in these odd introspective moods, so today I hit the mall and picked up some books and saw harry Potter.
The movie itself was very good. I was thoroughly impressed with the maturity of the actors and the action was great. I found that the movie did a good job of staying true to the story, but still adding cinematic elements that made it worth seeing. Luna Lovegood and Ginny Weasley were incredible in this movie. Luna was just so adorable, yet quirky... a very good portrayal. If you watched Ginny closely throughout, you can see how she acts jealous of Cho and you see her subtly developing a crush on Harry (for the 6th book/movie).
The dark mood of the movie was broken up by some of the comical aspects (mainly provided by Luna), and this made it enjoyable throughout. hehe, I love the nargles in the mistletoe line. All The scenes with Dumbledore's army were great, and you could feel the nervous excitement in all of the scenes.
On the down side, Was I the only one that was disappointed that they changed Sirius' fire-face seen from the last movie? I didn't really have a preference, but continuity would've been nice. On a more important note, I thought the main three characters left something to be desired. The 5th book, to me, was the one that the 3 characters experienced the most change as they realized the magnitude of their predicament. While the movie portrayed and illustrated the predicament itself, the characters seemed awfully flat compared to the book. The again, it's hard to portray inner conflict in much depth using film.
Overall, a solid movie. I'm totally stoked for the last book.
Have a good night Cec and Alacar, you two work too hard, and definitely deserve a break!

I'm delayed by a week, but I'm actually a bit relieved about it. It gives me the extra time I need to really thoroughly plan the trip and get some of the stuff I need, like clothes. I'll have time to get together an itenerary plan as well. I figure this may be the only time I ever go to NYC, so I might as well do some sightseeing while I'm there. The interview itself is only 15 minutes away from Broadway.
@Avatar Exchange:
PM sent.
Well sorry but this isnt the first time this has happened this has happened quite a few times in a course of a 5-6 months of time. Well i am sorry that your having issues about your relationship charlie. Well the suggestion i have for you is just take one step at a time a great relationship comes with time and not just in one day.
Yeah i guess your right i think im the one that overreacted although this has happened before in here but that was at least a couple of months ago. Yeah well i love everyone in here as well and the main reason for me to leave is i just dont want to stir up and continue stirring up more trouble.
I dont think im interested in magic fading since its a really innovative game and i just like playing magic with a bunch of strategy instead of relying on a really good deck that has put up great results in any tournament. Casual will always be fun at times though.
Love,
Kevin/Cecilia

Yeah i know your usually are really helpful and i really thank you for that. :)Have a good lunch and ill talk to you after i get back from work.

Here we go...
ANIME OF THE WEEK
Chobits Goodies:
Whole Episodes:
Episode 1 - Chii Awakens
Episode 2 - Chii Goes Out
Episode 3 - Chii Learns
Episode 4 - Chii Goes On Errands (AKA "The Infamous Pansu Episode")
Opening - Let Me Be With You
Closing - Raison d'Etre

But hey, if you want to see what people are talking about, http://forums.animesuki.com and http://www.kickassanime.org are two great places to start. There's also http://forum.minitokyo.net.

BTW for those of you who have ever seen Coming to America, that isn't Samuel L. Jackson's first role. He was in the movie Ragtime in 1981 before that. Just a quick tidbit of Samuel L. trivia.
Yeah..

I'm sorry that work was so hard on you man, 9 hours is a lot, for any job, let alone Wal-Mart. It's days like this I'm sure you wonder why you even took the job in the first place. I'm sure the prospect of Xth is what kept you going through the day.

Hehe i just randomly made up stress hat.
oh alright.
Nice review on the anime i think i remember seeing one or two episodes. I want to really see the last two episodes of Ikki tousen though.
Nice going on the paycheck. Blah 9 hour shifts i bet they had to let you stay longer thats what happens to me alot now. Sorry to hear that your day went pretty bad but im glad the day is over for you.
