I'm glad to hear that Cecilia! About Dryad. Yeah, my version of Threshold (I still call it Miracle gro), uses dryad. And you are totally correct about the deck idea, it's solid as a rock. My version is very ghetto, because I don't even use any real duals in it, just rav ones and fetches, and it's still good.
And thanks everyone for showing compassion for my spider incident. I just hope I don't have a nightmare tonight about spiders.
Thanks again, 'Cec. You don't have to keep refining the deck for me, though I do appreciate it. It'll probably be a while before I can gather the cards to put the deck together.
Most of you will probably find this completely uninteresting, but it's news of my life, so whatever... The apartment building Brad and I live in was recently purchased and is being converted into condos. The prices being asked are absolutely outrageous, so we're now looking for living options elsewhere. Things are very up in the air right now since we won't have to move until October, but there is the possibility of increased rent or even a mortgage in the near future for me, so I have to discpline myself and not spend any money on Magic for a while.
Yuck, man. I remember living in a giant rambling old Victorian country house in college (with about 14 other people) and having some impertinent ass from New York buy the place and proceed to force us out by dint of making our lives so miserable we would have no choice but to move. He made us all sign new, kangaroo leases which gave him explicit permission to run rampant through our apartments while we were away, nixed pretty much everything on pain of immediate forced eviction by thug squad (no pets, no drinking, no home offices, no guests overnight, no phones), trapped and impounded my roommate's cat, caused another roomate's girlfriend to dump him because he had one of his hired thugs BARGED IN ON THEM AND ORDERED HER TO LEAVE, and one dumb kid who refused to pay rent pending address of grievances got his car stolen mysteriously and THEN was evicted by three "security guards" with bats. About half of us had actually filed suits against him and he turned the place into a single residence, ate the suits up with his million dollar lawyer, and the kid who got his car stolen ended up declaring bankruptcy because he had no way to get to work and the back rent was being sent to a collection agency.
That was bad, but not as bad as where my mom and I were living when I started high school, it was a run down tenement for welfare rentors and it was condemned a year before we moved out but we were never told...the electricity was turned off, in half the building...no hot water, just cold, I studied algebra by candlelight and ate dry egg noodles...we had the gas stove running day and night because of the cold...we got burglarized several times and finally a company bought the property and threw us all out without relocation money because we were technically squatters even tho the crooked landlord was still collecting rents off us. The only place we could find an apt where they didn't require deposit and last months rent was a building leaning over it was so unstable.
My family has had abysmal luck with housing. We've always been too poor, have too crappy references, and had other issues which left us with no choice but the rat-holes. We've always had pets, and always had to rent tiny crappy cockroach motels because nobody wants pets unless you can pay a lot for rent to cover damages etc. When I moved out was the first time I found a place with stable electricity, heat, and hot water, where I could live in peace without rats and roaches and nosy crooked landlords and that was because I had no pets and was smart enough to stay out of student housing.
Good God, Starr, that's just...wow. Never have I experienced anything even close to that insanity. And in college I lived in a house that was condemned too Twice, actually.
And now my small-in-comparisson whining:
wWhoever said FoW is the biggest barrier to playing in Legacy was insane. The mana base...
Granted, FoW is pretty much the only card of real value I own to contribute to the deck, but the price tag to build that deck for me would be $427. Toss in another playset of duals and that's month's rent. Using Rav duals instead of Revised duals knocks it down to about $260, which is significantly better, but still... ouch.

The Golden Rule of forums: If you're going to be rude, be right. If you might be wrong, be polite.
I most certainly have missed you all!! I felt like I was returning home again, when I was reading back on posts.. Its good to be 'home' in the 'House.
Welcome back. It's nice to see you being more active again. We missed ya.
As for books, I loved them growing up. I was quite the bibliophile, and would devour anything with fantasy elements in it that I could get my hands on. One of my absolute favorite series growing up was:
Freddy the Pig. Despite the admittedly childish-sounding name, this series of books was not for small children, but for young adults. It features the animal inhabitants of the Bean farm, all of whom can talk, and centers around the main character, Freddy, who writes poetry, attempts to run a bank at one point, and is at various other times a detective, cowboy, and all-around adventurer. The books were in the 200-250 page range, which is what I loved about them - they gave me a lot of content to read, with a setting that was out of a children's tale, but with content involving politics, eviction schemes, and other plot devices which catered to young adults.
From Wiki (emphasis mine):
Much of the humor in the books derives from the self-referential way in which the author acknowledges the unreality of talking animals, unlike other children's works in which they are accepted as normal. The Bean Farm animals have attained national fame for their ability to talk and read, and the humans they encounter are taken aback at first (though only momentarily) to find themselves conversing with animals.
Despite their being quite popular in the 1940s and 1950s, the books went out of fashion and out of print in the 1960s, although children's departments in some fortunate libraries continued to make them available. In the past decade they have been republished by Overlook Press, in response to plaintive requests from Freddy fans who remember the books from childhood and treasure their combination of ingenious plots, well-drawn characters, literary allusions, and wholesome (but not cloying) moral lessons. Adam Hochshild, writing in The New York Times Book Review, describes the series as "the moral center of my childhood universe."
Absolutely amazing stories, and I enjoyed every one of the four I read, and would have loved to have read the others.
Then there was Bunnicula. Classic book, that, and the sequel wasn't half bad either.
I never read the Narnia books during my childhood, unfortunately. Most of my literary experience was a bit unorthodox. Terry Brooks was a lasting presence in our household, as was David Eddings. They gave me a love of fantasy and a hunger to write that I still have, even if it is subdued and kind of rusty.
Wow, what a trip back in time. I remember having our fourth grade teacher read us Bunnicula, and how awesome I thought it was at the time. Such a great concept for a book.
Also, Eddings and Brooks?!? Do we have a shared literary vibe going on or something? I have most of the Shannara books (Scions, Voyage) sitting here on my bookshelf, and have read almost all of the others (Wishsong, Sword, Etc). I also love Eddings, and in highschool I borrowed the entire Belgariad off of my friend to read. I've read the Elenium and the Tamuli (entire Tamuli in one weekend - :O), and I have Belgarath the Sorceror sitting on my shelf as well. Awesome, awesome books. They are among my favorite authors.
@Starr:
Yikes! Wow, it sounds like you've had it unbelievably rough.
Well folks, it's the start of my "weekend" today, and I'm going up to WSU for what may be the very last time in my life tomorrow. *sniff* This is finals week for them, and we always watch the most crazy, off the wall, random anime we can find in club on finals week. Therefore, I am nearly required by law to be there. After this, though, if things go my way, I'll be in Japan by the end of the summer, so I probably won't be going back there again, not for a very long while, at an rate. I'll miss everyone, but at the same time, I feel it is time for me to move on.
AotW will come later today, as soon as I get it made up. Time to update the front page once again.
Edit @ Sakura:
I have seen bits of it, yes. They like to show it for "Anime Hell", "Midnight Madness", and other features at cons. They've shown clips at several of the cons I've been to. The one I remember the most is the one about moé.
@Starr: Good god... I've been lucky not to live in places THAT bad. When I was around 5 or so there were a few apartments me and my folks lived in that had cockroaches but we never stayed long in those (a month or two at most). The WORST was the last apartment I lived in that eventually got condemned thanks to the building falling into disrepair - landlord was lazier than ****. Heat was sporadic in the winter and things kept breaking. Top it with one of the tenants living in squalor downstairs for a long time and eventually being kicked out by the sheriff's dept. and its easy to see why.
Books: I wasn't really the kind to read at all. I read occasionally now but its getting hard to find time lately again thanks to lack of interest. I always found it better to get physically involved in what I'm doing...
MTG-wise: I'm in an absolute rut... I have NO idea what to run because i have a lot of weird assorted good stuff but not everything I need for one deck... I'm hoping the 6 packs of PC that's getting mailed to me will help me just a BIT on that but even then I think I'm still gonna need some commons from FS I don't have... if anyone has some extra Foresees and Judge Unworthys they're willing to get rid of lemme know - I'm not gonna pay 10 bucks a playset for those - stupid local shop.

@Crimson: If I go to regionals, I'm in same situation as you. I need some cards for all 3 decks I have (that are competivite, Gruul Per. Storm, Flores Teach). Each is like 80%, altohugh my friend is willing to lend me almost all the cards I would need for whatever deck I pick. I mainly need to complete the dual playsets in the decks.
@Books: The best book I have ever read was the Da vinci Code. Amazing!. Great plot, and it kept you interested. Would explain more but I gotta go. Gotta get to friends before it starts to rain.
@Snoop: PM'd you on the MWS issue. I hope that helped.
@Kraj... because I forgot before: Best wishes on you and Brad finding a new place in the next few months if the condo thing goes forward... That's always an ugly situation but at least you have quite a bit of time so you can get some cash saved up for the move.
Every so often, it's good to change things up. I thought it might be a good idea to try that this week. Today, I will be reviewing an anime that is so mind-scarringly bad, I can only advise you to hole yourself up in your basement, or run far, far away. It was actually almost physically painful for me to dig this one out from my Data DVDs and take captures from it to review it. This is some serious mental trauma waiting to happen. Be prepared.
Well, here goes nothing.
(from ANN): Iwaki Tomonori is an average 15 year old boy, whose world is turned upside-down the day he arrives home to find that the Japanese government has married him against his will to a 12 year old girl named Rizel.
Yeah. How's that for a romantic comedy setup? Standard, right? Well, for one thing, Rizel is actually a secret government experiment whose tears explode. Therefore, whenever she cries, she destroys the house, which the government promptly rebuilds. The main character, Iwaki, is the only one who feels discomfort with this whole situation at all, and the plot dynamic revolves around him trying to come to terms with this annoying 12-year old who often (comically) blows up his house whenever he is mean to her or calls her names.
Several other characters show up, including a girl who is shy until she loses her glasses, whereupon she becomes a domineering hormonal maniac. Also, there is a guy who collects women's underwear, and is after Rizel because of her choice of exotic undershorts.
Note that this is a romantic comedy. The problem is, considering her age, and how she looks, any sex jokes involving Rizel somehow go from what would be funny with an older character to just being plain wrong. And jokes like that? Yeah, this series goes there - and beyond. WAAAAY beyond. The first season is great, and I actually liked it somewhat. The second season is the problem. They take the bad elements from the first season and amplify them 12,000 fold. To wit - the plot of the entire second season revolves around trying to get Iwaki and Rizel, umm, well,... together. If you know what I mean. The words "Otona no C", which mean "Adult Third Base", are thrown around a lot. Let me just state right now that I never want to hear those words again. *shudder*
So yeah, if the producers of the second season had known where to quit, this would have rated as high as three out of five stars in my book. Due to the existence of the second season, however, I have to give this one about a negative five out of five. Seeing a secret government organization try to coerce a 15 and 12 year old to get it on, no matter if in the name of comedic entertainment value or if it actually happens, is not something that I find anywhere near the realm of good taste. Neither are the myriad of other sex jokes they make in this series, in particular one joke involving a dog. Avoid the second season of Rizelmine like the plague, if you know what's good for you.
Thanks again, 'Cec. You don't have to keep refining the deck for me, though I do appreciate it. It'll probably be a while before I can gather the cards to put the deck together.

That sucks Kraj. Dont worry just build a nice deck after youve resolved your problem.( That means it should leave the stack;)) Well anyway..
@Mr stuff: Nice anime of the week, hope the banner is redone..
@Kev: Hi kev!
@Omna: Youre busy..
@ Evryone: *waves*
I wish my tuition fee arent that high..Geez Well anyway see ya guys Later!
Yes, yes. I take a while on my requests, but they do get done. I'm actually working on the stuff for my shop right now, if you must know.
I need to go in town later to see if my Alien Nine is finished yet, in order to take it with me tomorrow to WSU. I also just found out that instead of a normal classroom for finals week, we will be once again comandeering the big-screen TV in the 6th floor honors lounge. What that means is that we are not limited by the closing time of the classroom and will be able to stay up as late as we want watching anime. Our record is 10:30am the next morning - unfortunately, I won't be able to break that this time due to me having work on Thursday. I will stay up there as long as possible though. It looks to be another fun day/night.
Thanks everyone. Just so you know, it's not really a serious issue, it's more of a headache to deal with and a little bit of uncertainty. I'm confident that whatever happens will ultimately be for the best anwyay.

The Golden Rule of forums: If you're going to be rude, be right. If you might be wrong, be polite.
one was a basement i shared with a "friend". We had someone come in and try to beat him with a bat while he slept, and apparantly my friend kept a fishing gaff at his bedside and woke up and gaffed him in the leg. I was out of power for over a month because the guys upstairs didnt pay the power and I was on the same bill as them. The doors refused to stay locked no matter what. once every few weeks one of the guys upstairs got really drunk and was prone to wandering and often wandered into my room and just sat there dazed for an hour. I had to go upstairs when i wanted to shower or bath, there was not one upstairs. I did all my cooking in a toaster oven.
when living in Oshawa after moving to Toronto, a friend set me up in a room with another friend. This time it was in an apartment building. i found out after moving in that the lock was broken, the roomates allows all theie friend and friends of friends squat and crash...so I always came home to strangers. My house was generally full of Drug Dealers, Gang members, guns, fights, etc. To top it off, my roommate never took care of his two pitbulls and they crapped everywhere. People mad at them would often come to the door with their own dogs to start fights with the Pitbulls. they were sweet hearts, but any dog provoked can be a mess. i cant tell you how many times i had to get between two angry dogs and pry them apart. This was the same time I lost my dreamcast, all 500 games, my gameboy advanced, and had a bunch of my collectibles thrown out the 6th story window into the snow. They also all had lice and refused to do anything about it. They constantly blamed my GF for the lice, but even after they drove her away were still infested. I had to shave my head, which I had spent 3 years growing out. In the end they all left leaving me behind, the building changed ownership and refused to rent to me, still no lock, bay window busted out, and random drunks and druggies wandered in frequently.
My current place is no winner either. The power is a money syphon. The upstair neighbours are loud as hell. Music I can live with, people stomping to the music on my ceiling, or falling over constantly, or having sex in my stairwell I cannot. People ringning my doorbell every few days at well after midnight, or pounding on my window, just so they can get upstairs to buy drugs...ugh. Last Sunday I had a thuggish guy pounding on my front door and window at 2 am. He tried very hard to convince me I knew him so I would let me in. people are so rude to, they shove past me to get in if I do open the door...and are usually to incoherent to understand, or even know what I am saying.
Good God, Starr, that's just...wow. Never have I experienced anything even close to that insanity. And in college I lived in a house that was condemned too Twice, actually.

Yeah my uw control deck that i would do pretty well with in legacy was around 400 dollars but it took me about half of a year to get the whole deck. It turned out to be worth it though because usually the pay out of getting top 8 at big legacy tournaments such as the mana leak open or duel for duals you can easily win back your money from spending on the deck and more from winning a bunch of original dual lands and much more. Using ravnica dual lands for now would still make the deck pretty much playable regardless of what most veteran legacy players think about them.
Yuck, man. I remember living in a giant rambling old Victorian country house in college (with about 14 other people) and having some impertinent ass from New York buy the place and proceed to force us out by dint of making our lives so miserable we would have no choice but to move. That is awful and good gosh im glad you dont live in that bad of a place anymore.*hugs* My step dad indured somewhat of a similar situation he was kicked out of the house when he was 15 years old and he had to basically live on his own at that age which is just as scary.
I'm glad to hear that Cecilia! About Dryad. Yeah, my version of Threshold (I still call it Miracle gro), uses dryad. And you are totally correct about the deck idea, it's solid as a rock. Your welcome shah. Yeah i heard of miracle gro before people used to talk about it all of the time and also top 8 with it at every legacy tournament imaginable. I dont really care what most veteran legacy players think about rav dual lands being just subpar from the originals i still think they make a big impact in legacy and they can do almost just as well as the originals to an extent.
By the way this is what rares i got out of my 1 future sight booster and 2 9th edition booster packs today.
Sliver Legion: This rare is blah i wish i got something else like pact of negation or something. Oh well ill probably keep it until someone wants to trade for it or something.
Silklash Spider: This card is pretty awesome since it can block any flyer and has half of a hurricanes ability which makes this a pretty good card in my opinion maybe i shouldve played with one or two in hunter's mga.
Mahamoti Djinn: A classic creature enough said.
@hunter: hello hunter
Well i just came back from work just wanted to stop by and say hello ill talk to you all soon though probably going to go out soon to eat with my mom for dinner. See you all soon! *hugs and blows kisses to everyone*
@Mr.Stuff: Wow, that seems really weird. The only anime I have ever watched/watch is Inyuasha and this old show which I loved called Ping Pong Club. It was hilarious.
Not for little ones though.
However, I sprained my wrist biking. Stupid pot holes. Oh well, can only type one handed now.
EDIT!!!: ooh Cecilia I want that Sliver Legion, check my list and lmk or something
Okay folks, I'm officially back from my vacation. I know I was posting elsewhere, but most of those require less reading than here.
The vacation was mostly boring, I have to say. As much as I love New Orleans, we didn't do much there. No visit to the Aquarium of the Americas, no visit to the Audubon Zoo... We DID go to Commander's Palace, for those that know it in New Orleans or Las Vegas, for Jazz Brunch (brunch with a live band going from table to table playing requests) on Saturday before we left.
One high point, though. I love accessories, and frequently wear necklaces or rings. Mom got everyone different jewelry items, and I got the following two, a ring and a pendant.
More exciting, though, is my thing at DDR today. For anyone that plays and knows the game, I was 4 steps from beating Max 300 (the 5th hardest song in the game, methinks) on heavy, and beat Paranoia Survivor on heavy, no bar, with only 5 misses. It was awesome.
Well, today was really hectic for me. We were incredibly busy at work- the busiest I remember us being in a long time. And running a drive-through window by oneself is not fun. On top of that, three people called off today, and my brother had to leave in the middle of the afternoon because he got sick.
At one point I started laughing at how nuts everything felt, and couldn't stop. I was starting to say weird things to customers. I think it may have annoyed some coworkers, but it felt good.

What is the book/series you remember reading as you grew up? If you truly don't like reading or didn't read growing up, (SHAME ON YOU ;)) you can pick a movie I suppose
Hoo. That's a rich topic. Ones I remember fondly include The Dark Is Rising series by Susan Cooper, which was rivetting. Madeleine L'Engle's various masterpieces, mostly A Wind in the Door and A Swiftly Tilting Planet. I didn't read A Wrinkle in Time until I was in high school, but I loved it. She's such a good writer. I also enjoy her non-fiction works, books such as The Irrational Season and Walking on Water, meditations on Christianity and art and expression, respectively. She is to me as C.S. Lewis has always been to my parents, providing for years wonderful stories as well delightful insights into morality, religion, love, and life. She is probably the biggest reason I still consider myself to be a Christian.
As for other books . . . I loved Anne of Green Gables. A series of books by Diane Duane, the flagship title being So You Want to Be a Wizard? The absolutely hilarious fantasy-comedy books by Esther Freisner, such as Unicorn U and Harpy High. She's insanely funny and witty, and portrays genuinely interesting stories at the same time. I'd recommend her work to anyone. Tanya Huff, who wrote Summon the Keeper, is much along the same lines. These were freaking awesome books.
Another biggie includes The Chronicles of Prydain, with titles such as The Book of Three, The Black Cauldron, The Castle of Llyr, Taran Wanderer, and The High King. Joshua and I adored these books, which were simultaneously epic, quaint, and heartwarming.
The Chronicles of Narnia figure majorly into my literary background. A regular favorite of my family, my father had multiple copies of each book, to say nothing of all the other books he has by C.S. Lewis.
I only read two books by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit and the Return of the King. I liked them, but they weren't as major for me as they probably were for many others
One series that was huge for me was The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant - especially the second chronicles. I started reading these when I was a teenager, and absolutely fell in love. This series probably had the biggest impact on me as a writer of any I've read. I've been a fan of Stephen R. Donaldson ever since.
The Dune series I came to much later, but it also had a profound effect on me. Frank Herbert's style of writing and storytelling, which was commanding, nuanced, often insightful, occasionaly cruel, usually mystifying, obliquely positive, and deeply subtle, was at many times equally joyful, inspiring, and frustrating for me. All in all, I'm very glad I read all of them. The last book, Chapterhouse: Dune, was my overall favorite, and it showcases a surprisingly amazing tale through the cerebral, covertly emotional eyes of the ever mysterious Bene Gesserit, describing a universe poised with apparent stillness, human subversion, and the transparency of high-fantasy science fiction, while remaining a powerfully soulful enigma. The grandness of his tale seems to illuminate, ever so exquisitely, the beautiful juxtaposition of the vast majesty of the cosmos alive in the something so microcosmic as one person's thoughts, an ancient painting, or old religious songs.

Yikes. You poor guy. That's a rough situation to be in, one I can understand all too well. I really hope you find a new place soon that will be to your satisfaction and won't significantly hurt your bank account. At the very least, it's extremely stressful to have to move, just like that. Let us know how things develop. *hugs*
@Shaharazad: Eeew, what an experience. For those really afraid of spiders, even seeing a normal spider can be horrifying. Let alone what you're describing. Must have been awful.

Yeesh. Sounds like you really had it rough. It's really unfortunate how frequently proprietors won't allow pets. You strike me as someone who really loves animals, so I can see how the ability to have or not have pets would be a considerable factor.
It's good, though, that you were better off later on after moving out for the first time. I often thought student housing seemed like it'd be kinda bad.

Wow. That really does sound bad. Not to mention kind of nauseating. I never like the whole "obligatory over-dramatized sexual tension" schtick. And it seems like playing that against young children is pushing it way too far.

Yeah my uw control deck that i would do pretty well with in legacy was around 400 dollars but it took me about half of a year to get the whole deck. I bet you have quite a collection of lands. Did you buy all of them separately, or did you also try to get some in boosters?
That is awful and good gosh im glad you dont live in that bad of a place anymore.*hugs* My step dad indured somewhat of a similar situation he was kicked out of the house when he was 15 years old and he had to basically live on his own at that age which is just as scary.
Yes, it would be.

All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the light that you see. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the peace that you feel. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to fill your heart on my own.
But the rainbow is an image of hope for many reasons, as it is a brilliant sight coming out of oftimes dismal weather.
OMG. I lovedThe Egypt Game. Not to mention Nancy Drew!
I bet. Lands tend to go for high costs even in Standard. I can imagine it only gets worse when you venture into Legacy or Vintage.
Nice.
Wow. That really does sound bad. Not to mention kind of nauseating. I never like the whole "obligatory over-dramatized sexual tension" schtick. And it seems like playing that against young children is pushing it way too far.
Hope you have a lot of fun.
I bet you have quite a collection of lands. Did you buy all of them separately, or did you also try to get some in boosters?
Yes, it would be.
aww poor mamelon yeah i always have pretty busy days today was pretty steady but even today had its moments glad i am home though. *hugs*
Yeah i used to have 4 of each of the original dual lands but now i have like 13 but still its probably nothing to laugh at. I won like 4 tropical islands at one legacy tournament before though and ive also won a playset of volcanic islands at another tournament. I also used to own a playset of manadrains and i also used to have a unlimited mox jet as well but i never gotten further then that though. I have a friend that owns 15 power 9 cards though. I got all of my 8 pain dual lands from boosters and i also got a godless shrine from another booster as well. Oh yeah i also opened some revised packs and got 8 or 9 original dual lands from those packs as well.
see you all soon. *hugs and blows kisses to everyone*

Cecilia

Yeah... there were several screenshots I thought about including, but most that illustrated my point were too risqué for the site - including one that had the caption "Don't lick me there...".
Well, anyway, I'm off to bed, so I can get some rest before leaving for WSU tomorrow. I'm leaving Alien Nine on overnight, and hopefully it'll be done in the morning. I haven't had time to write the cover letter for my application to Nova or those other companies yet though, which irks me. I spend too much time doing other things.
Hey folks.. I came home around 7:30 earlier today from work.. and napped. God my feet were killing me. It wasn't as bad as Saturday today, but being a cashier ain't no walk in the park:
UGR Madness: I knew a guy who ran UR Madness stuff, and he loved using Predict. It was actually a good card. It filled his yard, was a cantrip for cheap at the least, and helped get the dragons he needed.
Book series: A lot of the ones I liked as a kid have been named: Dune, Narnia, Prydain (Yes, I loved The Black Cauldron books and the Disney movie), A Wrinkle in Time. But I also loved the King's Quest series of novels, which were fantasy adventures based in Sierra's classic adventure game series. Anything geeky for me. Also I just loved reading and re-reading my old Second Edition AD&D books.
Regular of the Week... ugh. I need to do this. I need to do it for last week and this week. And I need to restore the Geek Mp3s. Someone please help remind me to do this tomorrow.
Cecilia: Nice pulls! I like the new art on Mahamoti Djinn. Though it sucks you got a Sliver Legion--my first FS pack and I pull a creature type I absolutely despise. Oh well, it had a foil Ichor Slick.
Loving the new avvies and banners, since I've been lurking.
I downloaded the Waffle Iron Chronicles in case you're still wondering Ala.
Major major drama going on in my life right now and having a hard time expressing it, so I probably won't be posting much until things calm down. I've been reading but just not in the mood to say much.

And thanks everyone for showing compassion for my spider incident. I just hope I don't have a nightmare tonight about spiders.
Using Rav duals instead of Revised duals knocks it down to about $260, which is significantly better, but still... ouch.

She knows why.
I really have never seen the House this quiet. It is creepy.
Has anyone here seen a BBC Documentary series called Japanorama?
Absolutely amazing stories, and I enjoyed every one of the four I read, and would have loved to have read the others.
@Starr:
Anyone up to showing me how to install the darn FS thngy for MWS?
@Kraj... because I forgot before: Best wishes on you and Brad finding a new place in the next few months if the condo thing goes forward... That's always an ugly situation but at least you have quite a bit of time so you can get some cash saved up for the move.
Which means...
ANIME OF THE WEEK
Series: Rizelmine
Episodes: 12
Genre: Comedy - Parody - Ecchi - Romance
Every so often, it's good to change things up. I thought it might be a good idea to try that this week. Today, I will be reviewing an anime that is so mind-scarringly bad, I can only advise you to hole yourself up in your basement, or run far, far away. It was actually almost physically painful for me to dig this one out from my Data DVDs and take captures from it to review it. This is some serious mental trauma waiting to happen. Be prepared.
Well, here goes nothing.
(from ANN):
Iwaki Tomonori is an average 15 year old boy, whose world is turned upside-down the day he arrives home to find that the Japanese government has married him against his will to a 12 year old girl named Rizel.

She knows why.
I have had some serious winners.
one was a basement i shared with a "friend".
That is awful and good gosh im glad you dont live in that bad of a place anymore.*hugs* My step dad indured somewhat of a similar situation he was kicked out of the house when he was 15 years old and he had to basically live on his own at that age which is just as scary.
1 Silklash Spider
1 Mahamoti Djinn
Sliver Legion: This rare is blah i wish i got something else like pact of negation or something. Oh well ill probably keep it until someone wants to trade for it or something.
Silklash Spider: This card is pretty awesome since it can block any flyer and has half of a hurricanes ability which makes this a pretty good card in my opinion maybe i shouldve played with one or two in hunter's mga.
Mahamoti Djinn: A classic creature enough said.
@hunter: hello hunter
Well i just came back from work just wanted to stop by and say hello ill talk to you all soon though probably going to go out soon to eat with my mom for dinner. See you all soon! *hugs and blows kisses to everyone*

Pendant
Ring
More exciting, though, is my thing at DDR today. For anyone that plays and knows the game, I was 4 steps from beating Max 300 (the 5th hardest song in the game, methinks) on heavy, and beat Paranoia Survivor on heavy, no bar, with only 5 misses. It was awesome.
So how is people?

OMG. I loved The Egypt Game. Not to mention Nancy Drew!
All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the peace that you feel.
All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to fill your heart on my own.

aww poor mamelon yeah i always have pretty busy days today was pretty steady but even today had its moments glad i am home though.
Love,
Cecilia

Yeah... there were several screenshots I thought about including, but most that illustrated my point were too risqué for the site - including one that had the caption "Don't lick me there...".

I'm just stopping in to say hello.
I hope all is well for everyone *hugs*
