Ooh. Mr. Stuff, I so want Lovely Complex. I skipped the rest (for now), but that looked like it would draw me immediately.
So, I skipped my Philosophy Club today. I was originally going to come back just to grab my cash to get food at the nice little bar/restaurant we go to (no alcohol for me, though the rest of the club generally drinks), but I decided to not go back today. They were going to vote for officers (we JUST got officialized) and I'm not into that. So none for me.
Okay, for those that have Diamond/Pearl: I'm looking for the Water and Grass starters. When I can trade a ditto into my game, I can breed the fire-starter (:p) to trade back. Until then, tell me what you need.
Also, if you want to fight (around level 40-45ish, pre-Elite 4), tell me.
I have a math survey I'd like to pose to the 'House later on. I'd especially like those from non-American countries to weigh in, as it's related to education.
For now, question: If you were to meet a famous person (as in, everyone knows their names), how would you react?
I think it's funny you picked the one I have the absolute least information on. Although, I believe I got the description wrong. Anidb says nothing about being masculine/feminine, and I actually don't know where that came from, so I removed that bit.
My top four from the list: Nodame Cantabile, Lucky Star, Gurren-Lagann, and Seirei no Moribito, in that order. Nodame Cantabile just radiates awesome from every episode.
Yep... This is basically what's on in Japan right now. Although, I did miss a few series, like Idolmaster and Heroic Age that I may add later. There are SOOO MANY. <3
Hello everyone. Sorry for not posting sooner, but I've been relaxing on my days off. I've got work the next 4 days at least, since I don't know what next week's schedule looks like until Sat. They are short shifts, so that's an upside. I have to get ready, but I'll post later on.
For now, question: If you were to meet a famous person (as in, everyone knows their names), how would you react?
It depends on whether I knew it was coming or not. I've met a fair number of moderately famous people while in a professional setting and I've always been composed around them.
On the other hand, one day when I was at a restaurant with Brad and Ben Stein walked in my mouth went agape and I stared like an idiot.

The Golden Rule of forums: If you're going to be rude, be right. If you might be wrong, be polite.
Hehehe... I'm looking forward to seeing it. I'm surprised I haven't seen someone with a chainsaw before in anime, other than in one ep of FMP: Fumoffu. Well, I have now, anyway.
Speaking of rarely seen things, I caught one of my friends remarking that besides One Piece, there are no real pirate anime out there. I think I agree - what's up with that? After PotC, there should be plenty of reason to make a new one.
@Pirate anime : That is surprising, japanese writers love pirates. Look at Skies of Arcadia, Mark of the Wolf/KOF (Pirate chick character), Guilty Gear (same), Marvel vs Capcom 2 (One of the two main characters is a Pirate girl) Pirates show up alot in japanese games, why not so much in animae. I so want an anime about Pirate Girls.
Hmmm....Darker than Black looks like something I might really get into. The plot sounds a LOT like a MegaTen game, so that's a bonus. I'll keep an eye out for that one in the 'states.
So, I think I should be ashamed. I spent most of the day playing Pokémon Ruby. I mean, I'm at the point in Tales of the Abyss where I really don't want to do what I have to do, and I had no housework, so it was either this or watch Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. I erred on the side of testosterone.
My Kirlia is now a Gardevoir, and lemme say I'm GLAD she's female because Gardevoir looks...*shudder*....girly. I'm thinking of building up my Baltoy to see how good it is. I've discovered that Zangoose redeems the entire Normal Pokémon population with his pwnage, and Kecleon's innate ability is REALLY useful.
I know at least one person who is on our statistics team who will be very unhappy if the man u don't end up turning this around.
apparently they're very unhappy now, then.
I was kinda rooting for an English finals, to be honest. But a Greek friend of mine from the Greek Alliance is a big AC Milan fan, and the final match will be held in Athens... so that's gotta be a cool opportunity for him to watch one of his favorite teams play.
Well, yeah, there are lots of SPACE pirate anime, especially Captain Harlock. After some research, I looked and found at least one 31 episode series about sea pirates - except it came out in 1966 and is entirely in black and white. Talk about old school!
@Ether:
Now that I think of it, that does sort of sound like a Megaten kind of thing. Huh. I'll have to watch the second episode - I've got it lying around here somewhere. The main character seems to have the power to control technology - like opening electronic locks and "magically" fixing TVs and stuff.
Well, I'm off for a while. Laundry and a few other things to do, and then I wanna watch #3 of Bokurano. It and Lucky Star are the two I'm digging the most right now.
I had a Gardevoir in ruby*till my brother erased the game:(* I just wanted one for my run into the Elite four. But learned I can't *catch* it untill I get the national dex:( I just wished I got one.... I love Gardevoirs. Hell in the TCG I played a Gardevoir deck:)
Hell yes. I'm excited for this game to start. It looks like we have a very good group.
@Anime girls with chainsaws - Love it! Just remind me to not visit any anime cons this year. As awesome as it sounds, I don't want to be chainsawed by packs of cute girls.
@MBM - I too am glad to see your old avatar. Cute animated cats unite to take over the world!
@Myta - I'm a nerd! Look at my over use of emoticons and exclamation marks!!!!! Sooo nerdy.
And what, may I ask, is the "*ahem*" part of the "*ahem* romantic interest"? Hehe, kidding, kidding.
@Sha:
Ha, I'd love to see somebody cosplay as her. That would be too funny.
I watched the third episode of Bokurano. It just keeps getting better and better... I absolutely love the character dynamics and drama element of it. It's one of the first shows I've seen to feature a giant robot where the plot dynamic is not driven by piloting the giant robot! Or rather, I should say, the plot is driven by fourteen people trying to figure out how to not pilot the giant robot, each in their own way. How cool is that?
Also watched Darker than Black episode 2 - all I can say is, holy Temple-of-Doom power, batman! Teleporting someone's heart out of their chest much? Very cool.
Well, I'm off. Tomorrow I have an 8 hour work day, so boo to that.
Mr. Stuff, you have outdone yourself, and I fully intend to check out at least one or two of those anime shows.
Ugh.. so tired this week. I cannot wait until Friday--no more school, no more work. The work thing isn't as bad, but I will need to get a new job to sate me over the summer.
Also.. Spider-Man 3. I've already got my ticket pre-bought and in my wallet. Gonna see it at 1pm CST.
Hey coffeehouse! I'm over at my friend's house, thought I'd see how the house was doing. Looks like it's pretty dull today. I've been playing games and hanging out. Just relaxing and enjoying myself.

DAMNIT: I should never have to shred my own character sheet in frustration.
Mr. Stuff, you have outdone yourself, and I fully intend to check out at least one or two of those anime shows.
Hey, thanks Alacar. I'd probably recommend Gurren-Lagann the most - it is just plain old, undeniably awesome.
And that reminds me, I'm going to see Spiderman 3 this Friday. It looks to be really good. I didn't think Venom would get any screen time in this one, but from the commercials, it looks like he will (and those of you out there who've seen it - no spoiling :p).
Okay... That was the hardest thing I have ever done. I just went through Diamond's elite 4, beat all five trainers in one go, while all six pokemon were no higher than level 48 (and all my opponents had pokemon that were between 57 and 66.
Yes, I had to use over 50 revives and 50 hyper potions. But I did it! And at almost exactly 60 hours, too.
@mr. stuff: i love your anime reviews its too bad i dont have enough time to watch alot of them but probably one of these days should go out and just by several anime dvds. Have a good day tommorrow mr. stuff!
Well this will probably be my last post for tonight. Ill be on aol messenger and msn if anyone wants to talk to me though. Ill talk to you all soon and see you all tommorrow have a great day tommorrow and its almost the weekend already. *hugs and blows kisses to everyone* I was thinking about writing up legacy of the week this sunday instead. see you all soon.

Evening everyone! Whoo...its a little weird going back to work after 4 days off. But, I'll get back into the swing of things. How is everyone tonight?
To be perfectly honest, all this Pokemon talk kinda makes me want to play it now. I don't think I'd get Diamond or Pearl, but I could always emulate Leaf Green or Fire Red since that's kinda like the original right?
@Mr.Stuff: Indeed, your list is impressive. I wish I had time to watch all of it.
I beat Kirby the other day, and I'm getting to the end of Mario Kart, so I'll probably get back to playing Tales of Symphonia until I pick up my next DS game. Other than that, I might make a deck or 2 on MWS.
What I did. Separated image into different layers. Built the tip of the saw. recolored blood (Orange???? bleh) recolored saw recolored frills reclored dress Removed head and hair, and redrew where the hair was. Took a photo of my IMVU avie, and adjusted it to match the style of the saw girl as best as possible. animated.
Next : Redo the text, it shrunk to much...booo. Also, going to animate the saw.
All right all you happy people out there - this is the big one. An AotW so large, it took me hours and hours to complete. What is it, you ask? Well, since I wanted to do something different this week, and we're right in the middle of the new spring anime season, I thought I'd do something like:
ANIME OF THE WEEK
Romeo X Juliet
Opening: Here
Genre: Fantasy - Romance - Drama
Anidb Link: Here
Remeber how Gankutusuo was Gonzo's reimagining of the Count of Monte Cristo? Well, this is their take on Romeo and Juliet. Contains the same fantastic elements as Gankutsuou (ie. , set in space, etc), and animated in much the same style.
Romeo X Juliet... Sounds sick and wrong to me. But then the show sounds cool!
@Fox: I like your sig and avvie man. Great movie.
Well, I'm talking to my nieces and nephews in LA. I miss them so much. I miss their little spirits wrecking havoc at home while I play Apprentice. It's so quiet these days without the sound of glass breaking.
Anyway, just came home from badminton class. I decided to chill, but then I got invited to a conference with the higher-ups of the company I'm working in. I'm going to Spanish class later this afternoon, and then sleep early cause I'm going to the mountains up north tomorrow morning. I'll be staying there until Monday.
Just dropping by, really. I gotta pack my clothes now and charge my laptop.
@Sha: Would you like some coconut pie? It's called buko pie here. I'll post the recipe on my extendo.
So, I skipped my Philosophy Club today. I like the avvy, btw.
Bye!
